    Foundation is at ground level

Buyer Beware of this company. A company is only as good as its willingness to stand by its product and by that standard ACS has failed miserably, both in terms of its final product and its silence when I first brought the ground level foundation issue to them, just a few weeks after the sunroom was completed. I'm now left with a sun room at ground level that incurs water damage during every heavy rain. Only when I emailed ACS pictures of water intrusion after the very first rain did they respond . . .and that response was as flimsy as the caulk they put round the outside of the room like one caulks around a bathtub. When I told them that that was merely a band-aid and didn't resolve the larger issue, they disavowed any responsibility of remedying the situation. "We have fulfilled our contractual obligations as it pertains to your project and said contract. We are not responsible for grading your yard, installing a French drain, or constructing a Swale as a result of water runoff associated with your neighbor's property or other grading issue." The issue here is that the foundation poured didn't match the specifications for the walls that the company originally had precut for the project. The foreman of the sunroom told me this himself. So ACS spent an extra week on site re-cutting all the walls and supports to match the low foundation that wasn't part of the original specs. Rather than admit they made a costly and fundamental mistake, they've doubled down and are now hiding behind "it passed inspection." An inspection is only as good as the person who does it and how they feel that day. Its is subjective and not objective and this alone leaves room for many errors. Look elsewhere! Choose a company that will stand by their product, not run from problems they created. I'm left now with a substandard product and substandard company who refuses to do the right thing.

The initial consultation and final measurement with Eric, was very professional and Eric went over everything that had to be done. Eric is not a salesman, he has been in this profession for years, and is the owner. It was refreshing to have someone who actually knows what the job entails and not just a salesman was refreshing. The price of the materials and installation was very competitive. The doors and windows came in earlier than expected and installation was scheduled. Chris, Mike, Aaron, Dave and Walt were here for about 5 1/2 hours. They all were experienced, professional and completed a some what difficult project. My house was built in the late 50's so everything is not standard-sizing, etc., they did have to work through several issues. Everything passed inspection. There are some scratches, marks in the glass of the kitchen window and glass panel on the back door. Oscar came and noted everything and the glass panels are in the works to be replaced. This is nothing that the company damaged, just defaults in the glass. The consultation to final measurement to installation to setting up the inspection were all stress free. I could not say one bad thing about this company. I would highly recommend this company to friends, family and neighbors.

My issues began when the installation was complete. They subcontract their installation team. Not only did they not do a great job of cleaning up but one of them must have cut themselves because I found blood everywhere. On my bathroom wall, smudged on a door and all over the floor leaving a trail. I have a gate that I put up to keep my dogs on one side, they left it unscrewed and open. They didn't bother to put it back or at least say something. They lefts bits of trash around the space of just about each window and they did not do a good job of keeping glass off surrounding objects and the floor. I'm still finding glass and they installed on Saturday 11/18. The windows themselves are nice we got double paned and they are reversible meaning I can open the top or bottom and switch the screen to the pane I decide to open. Finally the inspector came and there were screws missing on a couple of windows. If you're going to do something do it right. Luckily they still passed us but now I have missing screws to worry about. In a perfect world I guess the entire process would have been seamless.

Employees complained about us, mocked our requests, and admitted themselves they "couldn't believe" the state of the work. * Payment bait-and-switch. We chose this company because they promised full credit card payment with no fee. They changed policy mid-project and refused to honor the agreement. When we escalated to management and even the owner, we were brushed off and told no refund or adjustment would be given. They did finish the work, but only after we managed the project and audited their work for an extra 8 months. Save yourself the stress, time, and money -- hire someone else.

After dealing with high quotes and poor follow-up from other companies, it was refreshing to find a team that was responsive, professional, and made the process stress-free from the very first meeting. Veto was especially accommodating with scheduling and product selections, which made everything even easier. Our old siding had definitely seen better days, and I knew I wanted Hardie siding for its durability and warranty. Learning that Alpine had just won a Hardie Award gave us extra peace of mind. We ultimately chose pre-painted James Hardie lap siding in Iron Gray with crisp Arctic White trim--a combination that completely transformed the house. Neighbors constantly compliment the new look, calling it sharp and coastal. In addition to the siding, Alpine upgraded all our windows to dark brown aluminum PGT impact windows, replaced the soffits with pre-painted white aluminum, and installed two new French doors in the back along with a new storm-resistant front entry door. Having one trusted contractor handle everything--rather than juggling multiple companies--was a huge benefit. The results exceeded our expectations. The Iron Gray siding paired with the bright white trim created a timeless coastal style that fits our Redington Beach neighborhood perfectly. Alpine even handled interior updates like drywall repairs, baseboards, trim, and painting, ensuring the whole project felt seamless. Communication was great, scheduling was efficient, and Veto happily addressed any questions I had. As a James Hardie Elite Preferred Contractor--featured directly on the Hardie website--and the winner of the 2025 James Hardie National Project of the Year award, Alpine Exteriors delivered on every promise. Their certifications with PGT and CWS windows also gave us confidence in the quality of the products installed. If you're in the Tampa Bay or Redington Beach area and need siding, roofing, or exterior remodeling, we wholeheartedly recommend Alpine Exteriors. They truly went above and beyond.
