This Mother's Day, I wanted to do something truly special for the four most important women in my…read morelife -- my wife, my mom, my sister, and my aunt. I didn't want to just take them out to dinner -- I wanted them to feel celebrated, appreciated, and completely pampered at home. Chef Kane with Taste of the Sophisticated (TOTS) brought that vision to life with elegance and soul. From the moment she arrived, Chef Kane was completely locked in. You could see the passion in her eyes and the confidence in every step she took in our kitchen. She worked with a quiet intensity and grace, and watching her create was like watching an artist in her element. Every dish that came out was more than food -- it was a moment. The evening started with Truffle Macaroni Bites, perfectly crisp and paired with roasted tomato-garlic coulis and truffle aioli -- a rich and flavorful opener. The French Onion Soup, topped with golden gruyère and comté over toasted brioche croutons, was the best I've ever had -- bold, warming, and luxurious. Then came the Chicken Velouté, a velvety, refined dish with crème fraîche, fresh tarragon, and smoked sea salt. The Truffle Caesar Salad was a sophisticated take on a classic -- pancetta and parmesan crisps added the perfect punch. The main courses were stunning: Baked Salmon with citrus beurre blanc, roasted heirloom carrots, and fingerling potatoes -- light, bright, and beautifully balanced. Spinach-Stuffed Chicken in white wine garlic sauce with truffle mashed potatoes and wild mushrooms -- rich, earthy, and comforting. And the crown jewel: an 8 oz Filet Mignon, flawlessly cooked, served with creamy truffle butter, roasted Brussels sprouts, and silky mashed potatoes. Dessert was a celebration in itself: A Molten Lava Cake made with Valrhona dark chocolate and topped with 24K gold leaf -- decadent and unforgettable. And a delicate Madagascar Vanilla Bean Cupcake with strawberry coulis -- light, fragrant, and a perfect final note. What struck me most was not just the exceptional food -- it was how Chef Kane made every woman at that table feel seen and celebrated. Her presence, care, and artistry elevated the night far beyond any restaurant or typical catering experience. If you're looking to turn a meaningful occasion into a luxurious and heartfelt experience, Chef Kane and TOTS are who you need. I can't thank her enough for making this Mother's Day unforgettable.

Got into town around dinner time and was looking for some good bbq for dinner. Stopped here based…read moreon the reviews on here and it didn't disappoint. You order at the counter and then they give you a number and they bring your food out to you. They have serve yourself drinks and tea and bbq etc I opted for the prime rib. I would have preferred it to be cooked a little more as a personal preference. However it did have a nice flavor and seasoning on it. The green beans are whole but they have flavor unlike some places. Jalapeno spoon bread was delicious it's like corn casserole met cornbread. Hubby got the sampler platter with smoked turkey, ribs, brisket and salmon. Fun fact they will let you sample the meats before you decide on which ones you want. The salmon was hands down the best salmon he ever had he said. It completely hit different and would definitely order again The brisket was juicy and had a great bark on it with amazing flavor and seasoning Turkey wasn't dry at all and had a great smoked flavor Ribs were fall off the bone good with yet again great seasoning Baked beans- didn't care for these at all they tasted like ketchup Mac and cheese was just basic wouldn't order again Potato salad was the best side out of the ones he got. They also bring half a load of bread More than enough to share

I prefer chicken so I had been wanting to try this place. All were good and I am fairly picky with bbq. I which they had a few different bbq sauces but I won't down them for that as the flavor of the one they had was good. Service was good. You walk up and order. Food was given out quickly. We didn't get to try the ribs as we were told they were out but sounded like they just didnt have the next batch ready. Wish we would have been told that cause we would have waited but not a huge deal. Owner was there, at least I think he was the owner, and he was going around to each table to make sure everything was good. That was appreciated. I always appreciate when the owners are there and personable.
