Was very disappointed and wasted about an hour of my time trying to buy a 2x12x8. After buying the item went out to the yard and waited only to be told they don't carry 2x12x8 and they would have to cut one. Moved vehicle waited and watched as other customers were helped and the yard guy talked with a young lady and three kids for a while. After 15 minutes I gave up and got a refund and,an apology but my business is going elsewhere..

I called and had a hard time getting the saleswoman to say whether or not they carried certain kinds, despite the fact that their website said they did. Finally she directed me to the man in charge, and he told me they had the pullets I wanted. Only after asking exactly how old they were did I find out they were a little over two weeks old, but "very hardy". Of course they weren't hardy enough to put outside in the coop yet, but he was willing to call them pullets and say they were really hardy, just not hardy enough to be outside or without a heat lamp! That's not hardy, by the way. The second time I tried to buy something from them was when I wanted to make a fence using hardware cloth to protect my garden from gophers. They were unable to sell me the size and length I needed, and didn't offer to order it for me. I said I would look on Amazon and they said OK and hung up. Why don't farm stores sell things farmers need in Yakima? Why is Amazon the only place you can find things like basic fencing or decent chicken feed? Why don't any stores like this sell actual pullets instead of just chicks? Did you know not everyone that has a chicken coop outside has a place to raise chicks inside?

Marchant Ladders are the BEST!…read more I drove out from Seattle to beautiful Grandview and bought my 16 foot orchard ladder with adjustable feet. It's the best ladder to use around the exterior of my house. I use it when gutter cleaning, window cleaning, painting and more. I lean it against my house so I removed the long 3rd leg which makes it easier to store. For tree maintenance I lean it up against the trunk. I bought right from the factory were each ladder is built by hand. I received a personal tour. I am thrilled with the quality and sturdiness of this extremely lightweight tall ladder. The owner and the employees are a delight. A quality memorable experience. Your local hardware store can call Marchant and order them. Or drive out from the Puget Sound and have a picnic.
