The fact you can order off a full breakfast menu all day is key! The chicken fried steak dinner is a great option as well!

Granite City Brewery was quite a pleasant surprise. The food and service were 5 stars. The beer…read morewas just average. We did the 2 for $25 deal. The house salad had one of the best blue cheese dressings I ever had. The cheesy tortilla soup, outstanding. We ordered fish tacos and the classic cheeseburger as the main course. The plan was to share the entrees halfway through. When it came time to share we each were reluctant. We figured the other dish couldn't be nearly as good as what we had. We were wrong both were excellent. We are traveling so we don't know if we will ever be back. If you live in Sioux Falls you need to try Granite City Brewery.

Came here for lunch (after 1pm) on a Wed afternoon. Ordered the 2 for $25 special. We both had…read moreFrench onion soup as an app. We ordered the pasta alfredo and the buffalo chicken wrap with soda and a beer. For a brewery, have always felt their beer choices are lacking. Today was no different. The pasta meal was very dry and the wrap...YIKES!!! I understand anything "buffalo" is going to be spicy but this was over and above. A side of ranch or Bleu cheese would have helped. We would have asked our server for some but she was no where to be seen. In fact, we were pretty much done with our meal before she came back to check on us. By then it was too late. Had they been busy, this could have been better understood but there were only 4 other tables seated and other servers were working It's safe to say this will be our last time eating there.

A nice place. Service was some of the best I've ever had. Food was solid, but not the best. I will…read moresay that I think it is as good as I expected it to be, but I always hope it'll be better thus I am not leaving a 5-star review. Fried pickles spears with the rock n roll sauce were great. I wouldn't have ordered these except my server recommended them out of all the apps, so I went with that. Fried things at places like this usually lack flavor and are just salty, fried bar food. These had some kick. The rock n roll sauce was like a Mayo with Frito's Chili Cheese Twists, so they were yummy. Tilapia on wild rice was ok, but it's tilapia, so how amazing can it be, right? Broccoli wasn't too over cooked and it still had a healthy green color, so I was happy with that. And the fries were a tad greasy, but they came out hot and crunchy. I think if they let the oil drain off them a bit more under a heat lamp, they'd hold their crispness a bit longer. Oh, and it was an entire plate of fries, so portions were generous. Lastly, everything was served very quickly. The place wasn't super-busy, but it wasn't dead and I was happy about the timeliness. I ordered an app first then placed an order for my entree after munching on that. And I was out done in 45 minutes. Granted, I was eating alone, but still. If you enjoy meat, I highly recommend giving this place a shot. I am a pescatarian (mostly vegetarian) and I have a sneaking suspicion that their beef and chicken options have much more developed flavors.
