I used to frequent this farm when I lived in the area and always loved it. On a trip last week to the area, I decided to look up some of my favorite spots and see if I could revisit them and I was so thankful this place is here! Exactly as I remember it with in season produce! Luckily I was staying in a hotel with a kitchen so I picked up squash and corn for dinner and some apples to snack on. Visited the farm today 7/30/25 Bought corn, cucumbers, zucchini Tried to make some fun conversation with the elderly cashier who was very snarky and crotchety She told me very abruptly that I could leave now! I'm a frequent flyer of Cook's farm, but I think the produce at Stop & Shop might look better now After today's visit, I would give Cook's farm a one star rating and will never return, and oh by the way, I will inform my 800 clients to not frequent this business! Love this little farm stand!! Pull in pull out . Can't get enough of the strawberries!! Lettuce, broccoli, herbs so much better than the grocery store. They sell so much more like radishes spinach garlic, green onions, eggs, tomatoes. Prices are very reasonable considering how long their produce lasts. Very rare to have to toss anything out. Out of 8 quarts of strawberries I've bought this season, I think I may have only thrown out two strawberries! Check them out. They also do farmers markets. I believe they now take food assistance. Definitely a way better choice for young children. read more

Love the fresh produce here. The best time to go is in autumn, when the apples and pumpkins / gourds come in. In the warmer months, the strawberries, blueberries, and veggies are good, but it's hard to know how much you'll have to choose from once you get there. If you go on or around the weekend in the summer, sometimes there's not much in the way of fruit. I hope someday they'll offer a pick-your-own option. I also really like the barn - the main one, where you buy your produce. It's probably 300 years old. Cook's Valley is definitely a nice "old New England" experience. read more

Great small farmstand in Wrentham. Lots of heirloom vegetables. Not sure if they still do it but Incontro in Franklin used to make up a special "Cooks Valley Farm" menu based on what was at the stand that week. About as farm-to-table as it gets. read more

In answer to Stephanie T....for your information, the Cooks do not have ANY CATS! There are feral cats in the area - they are wild and are apt to attack when humans get close to them. The Cooks planned to bury the cat, but you kept yelling at them. So they gave you the box. You wrapped the cat in a blanket and took it away. Funny....on Sunday morning, lo and behold, the deceased cat was back on the side of the road, wrapped in the blanket!!! The Cooks buried it, since you didn't care enough to do it yourself. So who is crass and uncaring? The Cooks are some of the most caring, hard-working people I know. They are a family-run farm, working hard to provide the best produce for their customers. They deserve 10 stars! read more

The produce here is so fresh! They pick their corn multiple times a day and they have the best prices on fresh-picked apples. Their melon this year was AMAZING! They also have a small fridge with local eggs. read more
