That were very reasonable and fresh tomato plants. Lots a nice fresh vegetables were very welcoming. We walked in. We explained that 1 of our children give us a gift card and that it was our first time and we wanted to get some lunch so they told us what they're their main item was which was the number two thanksgiving sandwich we then got two containers of their homemade coleslaw, which was wonderful. They had a wide variety of desserts, pies, cakes, cookies, etc. we were so full from dinner from lunch. Excuse me that we did not get dessert but we had promised we would come back we did, however, find out that they do do catering in the platters with absolutely out of this world. They had several kinds of bread as well for the sandwiches this time we got a wrap I think next time we'll definitely probably get it on like a whole-grain bread that they had because the wrap was just too much. But everybody was kind and friendly and helpful and welcoming, and that we were outside waves of the call our name and they brought our sandwiches right out to us. It was so big. We were only able to eat about maybe 3/4 and they brought the rest home for later. Met some nice people there that were singing on the tables and then the young fellow was taking the meat and stuff out of the smoker they had outside and he while we were there they took out the Rose turkey breast that they had been doing in the in the smoker, they also had ribs as well as a ham. They say they run it continuously all the time so I believe that it was just a lot of stuff going on, but there was definitely a lot of choices they had made to order. They also had fresh and they had frozen for you to take home. So this is I really like the variety we will go back.

Since I only needed enough food for two and didn't want to do the whole cooking all day thing, I got a premade dinner that consisted of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and butternut squash - plus gravy and cranberry sauce. The portions/serving sizes were huge - had plenty and then some, leftovers for days!! We got it a few days early and put it in the freezer to keep...Took it out two days before eating time and let it defrost in the fridge. Transferred everything but the turkey to pots/pans on the stove for heating instead of the microwave and put the turkey in the oven day of. It was super easy to reheat everything and get it to temp. I had concerns about the mashed potatoes as those can be weird sometimes but they reheated perfectly. Everything tasted SO good, full of flavor, and very delish! The turkey was very moist and tender - like fall apart and the flavor of the gravy, and sides were all excellent. I think this was probably one of the best turkeys I have had. Definitely want to try the outpost farm again as I am sure everything they have is great. I was very happy with the choice and outcome and it made our Thanksgiving meal like a home cooked meal minus the mess and all the cooking lol.

They have multiple little green houses / tents, some of which you can rent out for events. Their apple cider was really good; it wasn't too thick, it was perfectly sweet, refreshing, and tasted like fresh apples. The apple cider donuts were the best I have ever had (they were freshly made, so that might've played a part). Some of the characteristics I loved about the donuts is that they were moist, the sugar on it wasn't overwhelming, and a great size. They also have some animals, mostly chickens. Some of them were roaming around outside their coop but most of them were living their best lives in their coop. As a lover of chickens, these seemed well fed and well taken care of which made me happy. You can walk around to get to the different types of apples, but they also did have a hay ride to bring you to a more central location. They have a good variety of apples, and for an additional cost, you can also pick peaches, pears, nectarines, and maybe some other fruits. I filled my 1/4 peck bag with about 8 apples, the bag was about 6 in x 8 in x 4 in. The apples were delicious, very few had pests which were noticeable at the time of picking, but most of them were good. I didn't get a chance to go in but I did peek my head into their store, which they do sell apples, apple products, and other goods. One thing I noticed that has improved is their parking. They had more space, but also someone directing traffic to parking spots. I would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a good fall activity.

This place happened to be exactly in the middle between where my friend and I live, so we decided to meet here for lunch. The street corn flatbread was tasty and cheesy, and my friend's fried chicken sandwich was also good. Service was friendly if a bit slow. After lunch, we went apple picking which was I think $34 for a peck which is pretty standard nowadays. They had macoun, macintosh, cortland, and some other varieties, but I prefer my macs. The apple orchard is very small compared to other places I've been, but served its purpose. Would have been nice to have a couple ladders in the orchard for easier access to apples on top. Would have also been nice if the bathrooms were not portapotties--my friend and I chose to hold it lol. They also have a pen with chickens, ducks, and goats that look fairly happy and well cared for. We came on a weekday so it was not crowded at all, but I would imagine it gets packed on weekends.

I had attempted to call the farm a few times Thanksgiving morning which I new was a bit far fetched because everything is closed. I did however reach out on Facebook and it was a hit. Someone reached out to me within minutes. They sent out an alert to all Arcadian's in the area to see if someone could open up the farm and meet me for a pie pick up. It was amazing a few messages later I was in route to meet someone at the farm. I was kindly greeted by a fine young man at the door who greeted me with all my pies and a huge smile. I thanked him and offered a tip that he kindly declined. I can't say enough about how greatful I am to be from this little town and to have our town farm so close. They also have a freezer with some local frozen yogurt (which, on this freezing day, I am not going to try). They had free hot mulled cider to sample as well and the lady working there was very friendly. While there wasn't a whole lot I needed there today, I will definitely be back in the spring and summer as I love to support local businesses.

I actually really liked this place…read more It's actually a farm, where they don't pesticide things into growing all season. Some of the apples were delicious (in season) some were terrible (not ready yet). I definitely don't go apple picking for the Disney World experience and loved how vast, yet intimate this farm is. I hate hay rides anyhow, too itchy. If you are looking for something that is good for toddlers and young kids, has smallish trees so you don't have to climb anything, and is relatively low-key, this is the place for you! For me, I happen to LOVE climbing trees for apples, so although I enjoyed myself, it was missing a little something. The little shop is seriously lacking in home-made product but does have a few very delicious, VERY local specialties (just how I like it). If you want the whole-foods, home grown, yet corporate feel, skip past this farm. You won't find it here. But if you are looking for a genuine farm where local people stop for a nice afternoon, stop on by! Highly recommended.

When arriving you have to purchase a bag for picking - $10 for 1/2 peck and $20 for a peck. The apple selection was somewhat limited there was about 5 different variety of apples. I wish they had Macintosh but they had Macoun which gets the job done as far as baking! Overall, our group was in and out within an hour which is awesome. I do wish they had apple cider donuts and more of a farm store selection. If you don't have time or dislike the monster apple orchards this place will fill in just fine.

Woah system overload!…read more This place has sooooo much to do. Where do you even begin. Originally when I looked up prices, I was like this is a little pricey, but I still wanted to give the place a try and I'm so glad I did because the price does indeed match with how much they offer here. It was family fun day for me, my partner, my nephew and my sister. And we all equally had a good time there are things to do for all ages. The employees are sweet, even the people that are working the parking. Once you cross the little street (crossing guard there for you). There is a little shop inside that you can buy your apple cider. You can buy decorated pumpkins. They have quite a few things in here. I do recommend grabbing an apple cider. It's so yummy originally I started off with the personal one and then I ended up taking home a jug as well. If you need bracelets, which, if you look up online that can be for all the activities or most of the activities with exclusions of some. Either way I feel like the prices are great, and you can see what you and your family will and will not do especially in regards to the ages of maybe the children that you're bringing. Once we bought the tickets, we bought some food to feed the animals. That was $5.00 a cup. The only issue that I had with this is there are several animals here but the cup that I paid five dollars for it seems as though only the cows would eat that specific food. All the other animals wanted the corn which you needed quarters to buy the corn which came out of a machine and I did indeed bring quarters luckily. That's my only issue there pretty much me and everybody else there noticed that the animals were indeed fed very well so a lot of times they didn't want to eat from you, but they did prefer the corn over the food that we bought in the cups. Now to animals, they have cows, llamas chickens, and the list goes on. I did love the mix and the variety of animals and so did my nephew. He especially loved feeding the cows because they have tubes where you put the food in that leads into the cow bowls that they eat out of he was fascinated by it. Now to activities, this is a real farm with so much land and there's so many things to do everywhere you go, especially for kids. They had swings hanging from trees, but they looked more like hammocks, which was pretty cool. They had a sandbox station where the kids can dig and build. They had huge haystacks that you could climb and take pictures on some of them were small, some of them were huge. They have a huge inflatable pumpkin that's like a bouncy for the kids, but that's age permitting for that one. They also have the tractor-trailer which we all did enjoy and that will bring you to the corn maze and the race track. The racetrack has several different bikes on it for all ages, including the Littles. And they do have two corn mazes. We only did one and we did enjoy it, even my nephew (he's 3). I feel like every employee that I ran into here also was very kind, sincere and genuine answered any questions that I had and directed you very easily to where you needed to go. I just wanted to make this very clear because I noticed this often. They also do have food and a beer garden, but we opted out of those things. They also do have quite a few things where you can use as photo ops, which is really cute. This review would be extremely long if I continued because there's just so much to do I think looking it up would be the best bet but we really did have a good time. It was a lot of fun even though there was kids running around everywhere it's not overstimulating. It's actually so large that everybody gets to have fun and there's so much sharing going on here. And they also have a pumpkin patch area. It's not like the tractor trailer takes you to the pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch is actually right there when you first enter so we opted out of that but otherwise we absolutely loved it and we will be back but just be mindful your phone does not work here. You do not have any service, but that's beautiful because you can stay in the moment with your family.

Especially because it did not include the hayride, additional corn mazes, feed for the animals, or a pumpkin to take home. With all that being said, my five year did have a really fun time. My son loved climbing the tire and sand mountain. He did that so many times! He liked the corn maze, but pointed out it wasn't a maze and was just a corn path. Would have been better if they had some dead ends and different paths along the way. He also really loved their giant jack-o-lantern bounce thing. We did buy feed for the animals, but I'd say it's definitely not worth it. The animals were all super stuffed so no one really wanted to eat anything! We also did buy the apple cider donuts, which I probably wouldn't' buy again. They were super greasy and didn't taste super fresh. Would have been awesome if they were warm! We didn't get to check out the beer garden this go around, but definitely looked like a great area of the farm. I would go back, but I just wish the whole place was included in the $18pp price tag.
