We ended our visit with a visit to the cows and milking barn. We were too early to see the milking process but we did walk the little trail where kids can participate in a scavenger hunt. Get supplies in the tractor mailbox at the beginning if the path. A few heifers are penned up outside the milking barn and several more were standing in front of a huge fan at the back. At 90° even the cows want a fan! There's a good amount of parking in front of and to the left of the market. Handicap spots are right by the market door. They've been churning out ice cream (pun intended) for almost 50 years. Today was my first time going inside the shop. In past times, I had ordered at the window. The inside is small but packs in a lot! Candy and other treats line the walls, a beautiful display of fudge and hand dipped chocolate goodies right in front of you. The young ladies at the counter were very nice, and accommodated my request for their favorite. For this shop, I was told the cookie butter flavor was everyone's current #1. I also got some apple flavored crocodile gummies and I was on my way. The cookie butter surprised me. I expected it to be very sweet, but instead the ice cream had some lovely deep caramel notes from the cookie butter and the big chunks of speculoos cookies were soft and easy to eat without being overwhelmed by sugar. Once again another great trip to the Ice Cream Machine and a reminder to not wait so long before I visit again.

The shop is family owned, and the proprietor was kind and welcoming to guests of all ages when I visited on a random weekday afternoon. They had different shake and sundae options to choose from as well as scoops. I got a small size but there was a lot of ice cream. It's provided by Bliss in Attleboro and while mine was a bit freezer burnt, I still enjoyed it. We ate our ice cream at some indoor picnic tables they had in a room downstairs off to the side of the shop. They had a TV playing "The Croods" main title on repeat. It was also windy and some tarp outside kept hitting the roof. The woman working was very kind to us. We were ordering a couple ice creams to go, and she offered to scoop them and hold onto them in the freezer while my brother and I ate ours there and then went outside to see the animals! That's right, animals!! They have a goat named Billy, a pig named Peter Porker, and a whole slew of chickens. You can buy feed for $1 and feed the chickens!! They have windows on multiple sides of the building and a fair amount of outdoor seating. The young woman at the window enthusiastically took on my request for her favorite scoop. She presented me with a cone of strawberry cheesecake ice cream and mentioned she scooped it to have extra graham cracker swirl, which is her favorite part. Love that! Because of the heat, I opted to eat my ice cream in the car. This ice cream packs a punch in sweetness. Between the cheesecake, the graham cracker swirl and the strawberry mixed in, this is a sweet tooth's dream cone. While sweeter than my preference usually, I did enjoy this cone down to the last bite! It was a fun little trip to come by here, and it's good to know when I'm in the area, I can stop by for some quality ice cream!

My one complaint is that there were very few tables, so we had nowhere to sit to eat our ice cream. There was one family that had long since finished their ice cream just lingering and taking up space at the few tables. This isn't the fault of the business, but it does highlight the lack of seating available. Even a few bar height tables to lean on would have been better.
