Had a horrible experience. Went in for a haircut and partial highlights. All I can say is everything went south in both of my requests. The girl was so sweet and really tried to fix the horrible color. She struggled to figure out what to do to correct the issue. I told her we had to do something because I couldn't go out like it was....it was bad. The bad thing was the owner said well there was a lack of communication on both sides. That is not quite correct. I said partial highlights and even asked if I needed them. The girl came up with a plan which sounded wonderful but clearly wasn't. I was BLONDE with brassy streaks and had even told her ahead of time that I tend to pull brassy tones. I spent from 10:00 am to 3:10 and still left very unsatisfied. When we finished my "color"....which ended up a grayish brunette color....far from a cool blonde, the girl took the cape off. I asked about the haircut. I'm sure she was rattled but I really needed a haircut. The haircut was equally as bad as the color. I kept pointing to the area that needed to be cut and wanted to ask for the scissors at one point. When I went to the front the stylist said I don't want to charge her because it wasn't what she wanted and kept apologizing. I told her not to fret and not to apologize. The KICKER was the owner said we have to charge for the product which was $50. The products were used to get my hair somewhat "fixed" and even pointed to a shampoo I might want to buy. WOW!!! Needless to say, I cried several tears after I left. When I woke up I looked at myself in the mirror and was brought to tears once again. I messaged the owner. We exchanged several messages. I told her I was offended by the comment that it was a lack of communication. She said what I stated and the picture I showed them were different. I didn't show the picture until after the fiasco because I stated that it was what I have always wanted. I said that when I came in all I asked for were partial highlights. I asked what I could do because I couldn't handle the grayish tone and was told to wash it. My concern was if I washed it then would the brassy undertones show up....which I know they will. I also stated that I didn't get a haircut and I guess would have to go to Supercuts to get that.....no response about them fixing that. After I washed my hair, which still looks bad, I noticed there is no blending and I guess nothing was cut at all in the back. I messaged again. I told the owner that my husband for one couldn't believe I paid for anything. I said my earlier comment about the haircut would at least bring about an offer to fix it. Come to find out, I was nicely told we weren't a fit for each other. See I had gone there years ago and saw a girl and was very pleased until one day she cut a chunk of my hair off. I just thought i might give it another chance again. I wish I could say I found my "place" but I didn't. I will not mention the hairstylist because she was very sweet and very apologetic. It was the owner who I have problems with. She also apologized but I guess I expected more....a haircut or even the shampoo she suggested....neither of those were offered. She is refunding my money after my multiple emails, but I really want my hair fixed. I don't want to be self conscious of how it looks....but I am. So for all of those reasons I would not refer this salon to anyone. Oh and if you think I am just being hateful, I hardly ever leave bad reviews. Unfortunately, the two other reviews I left were due to bad experiences in salons. My previous hairstylist, who has now stopped doing hair, said she's not sure why people can't get my color right because it's actually easy....at least for her. Considering how I feel and how this all played out....you get 1 star just because that is as low as I can give. read more

If you want $50 highlights for almost $200 then get your hair done here. I dont mind a beautician who is fresh out of school, usually they are great. This girl kept saying it was the lighting , took me outside & put me in front of lights blaming her camera for my hair not looking good. The manager has yet to return my phone call regarding this professional doing my hair & I still have all kinds of greys showing & she says she did a deep condtioning but it is not any softer. read more

I had been to cooper salon and spa when I first moved to the area. Everyone is so nice. A good atmosphere overall. I had a good experience. But the last time that I took my daughter for a haircut before our vacation time in May of this year. I asked for a blunt haircut, and point cut her ends..her hair did get blow dried. I don't remember if her haircut got checked afterwards by the hairstylist like they usually do. Well at least to the hairstylist that I been to they always check to make sure the haircut was cut even. Her hair was part in the middle to cut her hair, i know that when you cut someone's hair being part in the middle the haircut will come out even. But when we got home, I realized that her hair wasn't cut even. I even made sure that it wasn't probably just my eyes seeing it uneven. I tried styling her hair different ways. But no, her haircut was just uneven. My daughter has been walking around with one side of her hair longer than the other side since May. It is noticeable, my oldest daughter noticed it too of how uneven her haircut was. Mind you, we left on vacation so I had no time to call the salon so that they could fix her haircut. I never called back even after vacation, cause I know it was even to late to get it fixed. That was a waste of money going down the drain for me. For a haircut that wasn't even cut right. I regularly go to this salon for haircuts and decided to dye my virgin hair. The hairstylist, Jennifer, had to do a color correction before dying it all, but after 9 hours my hair came out patchy with four different shades of the color. This lead to my hair being dyed a darker shade, that I did not want in the first place, and after a little over a week (4 washes) the color came out and my roots are already coming through. read more

I was hesitant to enter a salon after COVID due to spread of risk & health concerns. I was thoroughly impressed with the steps they are taking to protect their staff & clients. Clients must sit in their car and wait for a text or phone call to enter the salon when your stylist is ready for them. A face mask is required by all clients and staff & there's a table with face mask & sanitizer available for clients. At the front desk you are required to read a document regarding COVID symptoms & confirm by signing and dating that you do not have any symptoms & weren't exposed and do not hold the salon liable. A noncontact forehead temperature is taken before leaving the front desk. Salon chairs are spaced out to keep social distancing and chairs, washbowls & equipment are sanitized. It's a different normal that we aren't use to, but how comforting to know that Cooper Salon is protecting their clients & staff. read more

I really thought this was just another hometown salon and you had to go to Ft Worth or Dallas to get good hair cut or facial. I was so wrong this is the best salon I have been to. Renee does my hair and keeps it blonde like I like. I couldn't ask for more. Codi does my facials and my skin has never looked better. I was dissapointed after stopping in this salon. I have had one of my kids hair done here before and was very happy with their work. I fully expect to make an appointment as I am a pet groomer and I appreciate the same courtesy. I walked in with my daughter to try and make an appointment and was completely ignored despite several stylists seeing me in the lobby area. My daughter and I waited for twenty minutes in case they needed to finish up with a client. I made eye contact with a few of the stylist and was never spoken to or even acknowledged that I was there. I've never been to a more professional salon & spa than this one! They continue their education and stay up to date on all the new trends. I was so lucky to have found Codi! She rescued me from a ridiculous salon who glued my lashes onto my eyelid :( Codi was so kind to squeeze me in her busy schedule, so she could remove these lashes and get me out of pain! Life saver! She removed them professionally without hurting me and without tugging on my own lashes! Whew! Unlike another lady who said she could try pulling em ok, yikes! I am so glad I found Codi! I gained a friend and a professional esthetician! She does wonderful work on lashes and facials! Everywhere I go, people ask if my lashes are real or not, bc they're so beautiful and long! I can't go without them, I am addicted! I go once a week and it is totally worth it! Her pricing is crazy cheap, but she never substitutes the quality! You will not regret going to this salon!
