As an expecting mother, finding the right OBGYN and Hospital to deliver my baby at was very important. After a lot of research and talking to other people, I decided to go with Cooper. This Women's Health location is located right on Kings Highway and close to home, so it's where I've been going for my regular prenatal appointments. The staff here is amazing. I've enjoyed my interactions with everyone. The front desk staff is super welcoming, accommodating, and willing to work around your schedule. The nurses and doctors are also great, they're kind, knowledgeable and there to answer any questions you might have. One of the biggest advantages of Cooper is their online portal, through the portal you can manage appointments, ask questions and even view test results. When you make an appointment here, add a little cushion time. The wait here is always a little longer than expected. read more

Absolutely horrible, this practice has zero follow up and does not care about the patient. If you truly value your health do not go here. This clinic should not be be allowed to be in operation. The doctors do not follow up with you. Each doctors tells you a different plan of action. Then takes weeks to get a call back .... read more

I decided to switch to Cooper after my Nurse Practitioner Gynecologist moved here. I expected a lot of hassle as a new patient, but making an appointment was super easy (there was about a 3 week wait for a regular wellness exam). Plus I wasn't bombarded with paperwork to fill out when I got there. I had one of the first appointments of the day and I was in and out in about half an hour- including the check in, wellness exam, and check out- met with smiles and friendly staff the entire time. They even have an online portal to check on your file and talk to the doctor. I'm very happy I made the switch and will definitely recommend this practice to other people. read more

I have been going to Cooper for years. My first bad experience was about a year ago when I had major complications with my copper IUD for 3 years and the doctor straight up refused to take it out. Flash forward to today, I find out amazing news, I'm pregnant(after being told I could have trouble due to iud complications. I called to book an appointment not only was the nurse I spoke to unprofessional she wouldn't be able to book me an appointment for 2 1/2 months. Pregnant women need care from the start not 4 months into their pregnancy. They obviously don't have enough availability or staff to care for all their patients properly as I also have booking problems with their pediatrics office. This experience today has made me never want to visit another Cooper establishment again. Very rude and unprofessional do better Cooper. read more

I had a hysterectomy after being admitted to the hospital after having bowel surgery a week prior at Atlantic care. Dr. Chen and the other surgical associates were wonderful. They biopsied my masses and kept me informed of my care all the time. It's nice dealing with a practice that's on the same page and knows what each were doing for my care. As hysterectomies can come with mental stress (hormone changes, depression, etc.) They had someone from social work come and talk with me to see how I was doing, the surgical team was wonderful about me asking questions. I went for my follow up last week and Dr. Chen was great. He went over my post op questions with me and took great time with me. I was looking to switch since my GYN will be retiring. I came here for the first time last year after desperately searching for a new OBGYN. It's part of the Cooper group, so you could have any doctor at any time. I started with Dr. Iavocolli. She was great. Personable, friendly, quick (but thorough). I had to have a few tests done and even though I was worried, she assured me it would all be OK. She really made me feel better. A month after my first visit, we found out we were pregnant. Now Women's Pavilion is my 2nd home. I've seen Dr. Chen and Dr. Suarez - both are solid. Great bedside manner and really laid back. My entire prenatal experience has been relaxing and easy. I've been seeing Dr. Chen on the regular and love him. The front desk staff is great as well. I'll truly miss them once the Fall hits and the baby is here! They've become my 2nd family. read more

Dr. Suarez is great! She makes you feel comfortable during your yearly visit by talking to you throughout the appt. I always hate going to the gyno due to not feeling comfortable being looked at in that area, but again she makes you feel comfortable by simply talking to you the whole time. She's quick, but thorough. I like that. I just want to be in and out during my yearly and she does that! Only reason I knocked off a star is due to the super long wait for my yearly! I called them in February in hopes to make an appt soon. The first appt they had was in June! So now I know, for my next yearly I have to get on the phone and call far in advance or else I have to wait forever. Other than that, everything else was fine. This office is so amazing! Annual OB appts can be nerve wrecking and ever since I started coming here last year, it's been such a great experience. I've seen both Dr. Iavocoli and the APN Pam - both amazing, kind, and caring ladies. The staff is so friendly and nice. This office is by far the best OB GYN I've ever been to. read more

I had an appointment at 10:20 am and arrived at 10:00 am to have birth control removed. I was more that 15 min early like they asked. As I waited an older women came in after me claiming she never got a call about when her appointment was and they informed her that she missed it. I then heard the receptionist say "well we are running on time let me see what i can do". The older women ended up being seen before me and i wasn't seen until 11:15 am!!!! I told the doctor I was upset and she could care less, she was very rude. I was so mad I called a family member to vent and the doctor I had was also my family members doctor and she ended up switching because she was also very rude to her as well... OH AND I LEFT AND DID NOT ALLOW THEM TO TAKE MY BIRTH CONTROL OUT... DO NOT GO TO 1103 NORTH KING HIGHWAY FOR ANYTHING THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!! read more

Changing gynos. Every time I go in, I wait forever to be seen to only be seen for five minutes. I feel that the doctors are cold and do not take the time to talk with me about any of my questions and do not answer them. I'm simply seen and rushed out. Recently, the nurses have be extremely rude and condescending on the phone when I called excepting an important test result. Moshe simply stated that the doctor will get to it when she gets to it and call me when she can. I had to wait five anxious days for those results. Rude and unprofessional. read more

The doctors here are fine and are affiliated with Cooper, which is a great hospital. I enjoy seeing my doctor annually; however, the wait time has gotten to the point where I'm considering going elsewhere. Somewhere along the line, this office is not managed properly. You should not have to wait for an hour and 15 minutes to see a doctor for 10 minutes. I don't know whether it's an issue of squeezing in too many patients or not efficiently handling the flow, but this is unacceptable to patients (many waiting to go in before me were complaining also). This is not a one time thing either. I've experienced this year after year. They need to get it together here or they are going to start losing patients. read more

3 stars - because their physicians are experienced and do not jump to premature conclusions, and the nurses are relatively friendly and professional. The primary reason why I felt the need to write this review is to give a "heads up" to potential lesbian, bisexual, and transgender patients. While these practitioners are knowledgeable, they are not quite what I would call "LGBT-aware". I don't want to say that they're not "LGBT-friendly" because I have never experienced homophobia, but there is definitely a lack of awareness/acknowledgment regarding LBT women. For example, as a lesbian, I have had to explain my contraceptive options to a couple of the doctors - one doctor (she was friendly about it) admitted that she simply hasn't met with many patients who have sexual relationships with other women, and didn't have much knowledge on the subject. I am lucky that I do, but this is unfortunate for other patients who may not know how to go about safer sex with another woman. Whether or not a doctor has "experience" with patients who have sex with other women, they should be knowledgeable about all female sexualities. While the doctors' lack of knowledge was definitely disappointing, it was not as awkward as another disappointing situation my sexual orientation led me to have at this practice: a nurse called me to discuss STI results prior to one of my visits - about a potential HPV diagnosis (luckily, it was a false reading. But regardless...). She explained to me the symptoms (or lack of symptoms) that exist for women. I asked her if symptoms would be different if my partner "caught" HPV from me (this may be a silly question to those with more knowledge than me - but in the moment, I was curious if symptoms were different for the "giver" and the "receiver" of the virus). As she explained the symptomatic differences, I quickly realized that she had assumed that my partner was a man. I awkwardly interjected - "I'm sorry I didn't specify - my partner is a woman" (I guess I was naive to think that I had to specify - but I assumed that either A. she would have asked about my partner's sex, or B. she was viewing my records as she spoke to me). Her response was also awkward - "Oh...sorry about that." "It's okay," I responded. Her tone shifted a bit as she proceeded to answer my question. This nurse's assumption came off as unprofessional. Cooper's OBGYN really needs some "training" on how to accommodate non-heterosexual patients, because some women who are shy about their sexual orientation may leave a visit and/or phone call feeling uninformed and/or excluded. Con (which applies to all patients - not just lesbian, bisexual, and transgender women): as some other reviewers have stated, this practice has a high volume of patients. That being said, a visit (in addition to a sometimes- long wait) can be underwhelmingly brief and impersonal. Do not expect the doctors to ask YOU the leading questions. Be prepared to mention anything worth noting/ask questions/express concerns upfront - because your doctor may not even prompt them. Being shy isn't an option. They tend to seem like they're in a rush. read more
