There was a man in a canoe fishing, and an older lady fishing from a bench Along side the lake. It was a great sight. I can imagine all the fun in summer time with the canoes, and games bring played. There was a playground and you can see signs for life guard. There's camping areas, with barbq located atop lake and you can see the lake from on top. Its side beautiful, it started drizzling but I enjoyed the water and it didn't hurt hahaha.

Although short at only two miles from…read moretrailhead to summit, you'll need proper shoes for this hike and you will warm up due to the steep grade and moderate rock scrambling. We took the red trail all the way to the top and we took the blue trail on the way down (it merges with the red trail). I'm giving four stars because the trail marking are really good, except where they aren't and just disappear for a while or entirely. The red trail is mostly well marked, though there were still times when we just had to keep heading up the mountain because we couldn't find the next marker. On our way down, the blue trail was really, really well marked until it just stopped and we could not find another marker. I'm not a fan of going off trail because I know it can be dangerous and it can be damaging to local ecosystems, but without a clear trail to follow and nearly a mile into the woods, we did the best we could (kept heading downhill and to the right hoping to find the red trail, but eventually finding the road anyway). If you start at the trailhead, you will walk up metal stairs and onto a walkway over the highway. From there, you'll follow the trail about a mile up where you will find a road. Beware of traffic, cross the road, and you'll have another mile to go to reach the summit (you can take red or blue trail) where there is a parking lot and great viewing.

Also the grate over the grill was too spaced and we couldn't put anything smallish on it and had to buy disposable grates.

Pilot channel with scenic sidewalks and remote bayside channel of restaurants and family oriented activities. But' My choice was the fish and I did not experience that. Hook line and sinker? "Nemo" he's my favorite! My opinion is this Lake George "Reservoir needs-a fish revival.‍ That's it'... where are the damn fish. Stock this channel with a variety of choice -like fish. But the water is great and I've never gotten sick from it. When I was in Saratoga in April 2024 this spring was still turned off. The Big Red Spring inside the Race Course is back on as of June 2024 and I think the taste of it as about as close as you are going to get to Hathorn Spring No. 1

Hathorn Spring No. 1 is located on the Northeast corner of Putnam and Springs Streets, right in the heart of Saratoga Springs. The spring was scovered in 1866, by a workman, Samuel Freeburn, while digging an excavation for Congress Hall.The spring is named after Henry H, Hathorn owner of the Congress Hotel. The natural spring has a tap running 24/7 and is highly-carbonated water of an Alkaline-Saline flavor noted for its high mineral content, and renowned as a digestive curative. The water tastes a Lil salty and fell a tiny bit of carbonation that can cause a tingle.

If you don't bring food on the beach you are just steps away from downtown Bolton dining options. We'll typically stay at a hotel that has a lakefront area, but before check-in this was a wonderful option. Get hot in the lake and walk over to the brewery across the street for a cold brew!
