This year was from "The Americas" and, quite frankly, very impressive. From what I understand, it will be different next year! They have enough displays to change the annual theme. If you're into Christmas and love nativity scenes, this is a perfect destination spot. If you're not Christian nor religious, it's still worth a visit. For $5, it helps support a lovely historical society. The artistry and diversity of the pieces/scenes from other countries is absolutely worth the price of admission. Local volunteers keep this place alive and they are super friendly/knowledgeable about all of the displays. Merry Christmas!

That is not at all the case. There are loud conversations by staff and visitors and no one cares to enforce the quiet rules. I even reserved a study room and there were still loud conversations I could hear through my headphones. There are also people that just come in to wait for the bus, loitering, and have this as their meeting place for many things. They sit at the tables and talk with no intention of using the library for its actual use. Even though it is a public place there needs to be better security of noise levels and using the library for its intended use. Maybe enforce group study rooms, silent rooms, private rooms, etc. Staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I just wish it were a quieter, peaceful environment. Great place to come in, grab a book, and leave.

We were asked for $10 entrance fee, but some places say by donation so I don't actually know what to the deal is.

Since we came for a tasting, we were seated at the bar. We looked forward to the standard tasting (7, 3/4 oz pours), but found out once we were seated that they weren't doing those that day because they were busier earlier in the day. Instead, they offered us a flight (4, 2oz pours) for $15. However the glasses didn't have lines on them and the pours we got were significantly less than the couple next to us who were served by a different person. As far as the wines, they had a variety of sweet and dry, red and white, but I didn't find any that I loved. If I lived in the area I would definitely come back for the atmosphere, since this seems like a great space for events, or with friends since they have a large selection of wines. I also felt like the staff were helpful and friendly too.

But it's been an abandoned building and boarded up for many years...until now. Beautifully renovated with a full-service restaurant downstairs, the Park Theater is an exciting new venue for musical artists in an intimate setting. It's not only a performance space but it can be used for a variety of different events. I saw flyers for weddings and I'm sure that they could accommodate all kinds of special occasions. The seating is not "theater-style", so it's flexible as to how the main room is configured. They had a small bar with several wine and beer options along with delicious-looking treats. Non-alcoholic beverages were also available. Everyone that worked there was extremely pleasant and seemed to be really excited. (I am, too!!) I was lucky enough to see Dar Williams as one of their first shows. The sound was terrific...it seems that they configured the performance area with appropriate acoustic accommodations. I can't wait to see what comes next and continue to support this fabulous new establishment.

There are some pretty incredible views & a few astounding caves you can explore. The trail features quite a bit of stairs & winding paths so come prepared (eg. walking stick if need be). We saw plenty of families, children & seniors on the trail so it's suitable for an array of people. We saved the coolest part for last: cracking open a few geodes. This is completely random but it's enchanting to wait & see what color is inside! We love this place.
