Normally, around this time of year most contractors already have their calendars full, but after I…read moreexplained my safety concern to John at Selway Ornamental Iron, he was here at my house the next day to fully repair both porch railings that have rusted at the floor/step level and had become unsafe. John completely cut off the rusted areas, welded on new metal then inserted/leveled the railings within the new holes he had drilled to remove the old rusted metal from the concrete and to allow him to cement the railings into the four new holes. John then smoothed out the concrete he has poured into each hole then painted the new sections he had welded to the two rails. John then cleaned up the entire area. This was the best experience I have ever had with any contractor. This company, John's, truly showed he cares for his customer.
