We went in with our little league team for some BP (10 and 11 year old boys). The owner was short and rude from the minute we showed up. He yelled at several of our boys, yelled at one of our parents and told him his son was a jerk. He complained about the boys opening the doors to go outside and said to the parents "I pay for the air conditioning here and don't want any lip about me telling the kids to keep the doors closed". One of our guys opened the refrigerator to buy a drink and he said, "Get out of there, Young Man". He wouldn't let the boys wear cleats inside the batting cages so they were forced to try to bat in socks. We finally packed up our stuff and told him we were leaving and we wouldn't be back. He said "fine we don't want you back" If that wasn't bad enough his equipment is pretty rough, ball machines were really inconsistent and the lights over our two cages kept flickering on and off. I would never go here again. When my son got in the car he said "That's a really good example of one of those kind of people, that when they feel like they have a little bit of authority, they just turn into a total monster" Pretty much summed up our experience. read more

I was so excited to try this place but the experience was not so great. First of all the doors were locked during business hours and there was a sign on the door telling us to go to Asian Bistro for services. We did so and it took quite a while to get some help. Once we got there it was hot because the a/c had not been on at all that day. Also the machines are self-pitching not automatic so bring a friend if you plan on going. Another issue was that many of the baseballs were falling apart and that made them fly askew. I do not think I will go back. read more

Had a great time. Haven't been to cages in a long time. The owner gave me a few pointers on my swing and that was a big help. It's been 15 years so pointers were welcome. Lol. It's a pretty fun place. If you are going during the day I would call a little ahead since its mostly geared for lessons and teamwork. I read one review that said the balls flew askew, well some pitchers throw curve balls. I didn't have a problem with how the balls flew. read more

I recommend clear communication to your customers on times. Also, if the girl "working the front" or actually not present would have been working the front, we might have gotten a round in. Sadly we will be taking our business to the location actually opened until 9pm in Cypress. Disappointing children cooped in a car for 14 hours is not fun for parents. Do better!

I spoke with Tim multiple times in order to come up with a game plan. He suggested that we go outside and use their outdoor space to do actual team building activities. What a great idea that was!! My team loved every second of it. We got to the facility and Tim offered us the party room so we could eat and hang out for a bit. While we were doing that, the staff was setting up all the stuff outside. Tim was incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed in order to have a great time! My entire team had a blast. It was one of our favorite team building events to date. We all got to be kids again for a couple hours and it was wonderful. I highly recommend any company looking to do a team building to keep HIT! Indoors in mind. You will not be disappointed. The customer service and attention to our needs was amazing. We will be back for another team building!

Before you join, make sure you read the negative reviews. Despite reading them, we thought we'd…read moregive it a try. Be sure you are clear that in addition to the stated charges, there is a fee of $15 per person per day to watch the games. This is on top of the $35 one day tournament fee, which is higher for multiple days. Playing time is not guaranteed. If your player is a sub (more were subs than not) and you have 4 family members attending. The cost is 4x$15=$60 door fee, $35 tournament fee, lets say $5 for gas/food. Total $100. One mom said her player played 8 total minutes for two games. So you would have to go to 7 1/2 tournaments to see an hour of play. That would cost $750 ($100 x 7 1/2) to see an hour of play. This is NOT listed in their fees, which also includes practice fees, annual fee and uniform fee. My granddaughter joined and was in the Nemesis organization for five months. Many, many promises and excuses, but NEVER played a game, not even a practice game. During that time she missed one Tournament due to vacation. The team took 12 players, so the team consisted of a lot of subs. Why not form two teams and let everyone play more? The $300 uniform is non refundable and has been worn once on a Uniform Day at School. The league fee is non refundable even if you never play a game. If they do a fund raiser, read it carefully. The one they did while my granddaughter was there said the funds go to them with no benefit to outside charities or to your account. I've been around youth sports for over 50 years, I've never ever come across a sports organization, that doesn't conduct games in their respective sports in a timely and repetitive manner for all players. Doesn't have to be a fancy tournament, in basketball, all it takes is a ball and 10 kids wanting to play a game. Practice days and times may change after you sign up, so don't count on them staying the same. I've omitted other subjective issues and I've tried to make this review as factual as possible. If you are comfortable, with all these facts, then consider joining. Edit for business response - Of course our views are different I paid $600 (excluding other practice fees) for my granddaughter to play basketball games and she never played in a game - NONE. On the other hand, you received money to provide games and kept the money even though she never played in a single game. Bad for me, good for you. Please be specific and state what is inaccurate in my post and I will fix my post. I brought you two players that could have been with Nemesis for 10 years, but it's a fact in 6 months she didn't play one game of any kind - not a single attempt for a practice game. When I asked for the squad to be broken into two groups and play each other in a practice game, I was quickly told not enough players. We had 12. Even now with 14 players, why not enter two teams and let everyone play. There were many ways to provide game play and keep us in the program. Keep in mind that the future splitting of the team is only the most recent explanation (excuse?) we have heard for no games. For the first 3-4 months we were always told "soon". Now upon exiting, we're told there's a LEAGUE FEE we didn't pay for her little sister in Lil Crushers for which there is positively NO games. We are not the only parent/guardian of Lil Crushers surprised by this. If your a basketball club that can't provide games for some players, why not encourage them to play elsewhere while you execute your "process"? When Willow considered playing a few games at MaxPro everyone was offended. Did you also know that Coach Pam told Willow she was going to be captain of the team? Then I have to explain to Willow, they probably said that to everyone. At the last practice, we attended. I was wondering why are we still here at Nemesis. I asked Willow at the water break, "Do you want to stay?" She said, "No, I want to go home. Willow spent 6% of her life waiting to play a game at Nemesis. On the positive side, the $8,000 a year I had budgeted for Nemesis is now free for other activities.

It was all of our first time here at Splashway Waterpark and we were super impressed! From purchasing our tickets online to getting inside the park things were super easy and breezy. Like everyone else has been noting be prepared to fill out a waiver for entrance when you arrive as each person in your party will need to fill one out (digital/online) and show a QR code of your confirmation before you get access to the park. It was awesome we were able to bring it our own food, snacks, and drinks on our own! I loved this option as we have some picky eaters and drinkers and ultimately saved on costs for us on buying essentials like bottled water and electrolyte drinks to keep us hydrated of course! But don't worry if you don't come with anything as there are plenty of food options and fresh food & drinks for you to order throughout the park. We opted for funnel cakes to boozy margaritas and even pizza too! Rides and features for the waterpark were so much fun and safe. We had such a great time walking around exploring what we wanted to get on and beat through the June heat. Plenty of tubes and lifeguards all around to make your fun even safer and a no-brainer to try all of the rides. We especially loved the cool and semi-rapid lazy river. Their lazy river was wide and feels much longer than other Texas waterparks we have been to. We loved it so much we spent most of our time here. We didn't do any of the campground parking or RV grounds use as we had a hotel in a nearby town to be able to hang out with each other and have some hotel accommodations so I cannot speak to that experience here. Lockers were super easy to use and rent so don't fret about any valuables you have as they will be safe. There are 3 options for locker sizes too that can hold things like wallet & phone only (if needed) or a large bags and ice coolers. We were super impressed with our overall experience and will definitely be back in the next year for sure.

The leaders of this camp base everything (from what I can tell) about developing your daughter into a strong independent person. They stress the great women in history and the impact they made on our lives. They lead your child into coming home full of confidence and pride in the things they accomplished with out your help. My daughter did one week last year but it will be two this year. This camp made a huge impression on her life and I am excited to see how she grows in the next session this summer. I'm so happy that Piper and Popsie (the leaders) have been part of our lives. Some of my favorite stories my girls have shared.... When my youngest daughter went for the first couple years, she had a "big sister" from the 9th grade leadership girls. The big sisters are supposed to grant wishes for the little sisters. Well, my daughter wanted to stop time. So, her "big" got everyone in the camp to agree that if my daughter yelled "Freeze!" in the dining hall, everyone would stop in place for five seconds. It was an empowering moment to know her wish could come true in such a creative way. Another year, my older daughter was struggling with some friendship issues. When the counselors ended up giving her the firelighter award - as someone who represented the spirit of camp - her entire self-perception changed in a very positive way that carried forward out of camp. This year, the middle school girls wrote everything they didn't like about themselves on post its, stuck them on their counselors, then ripped the post-its to shreds... so they knew they could destroy the power those things had over them. On top of all these amazing self-empowerment moments, camp is just fun! My girls come back learning new songs, happy about new friends, and exhausted from having so much activity for two solid weeks. And they even rave about the food. We heart CLC.
