She relocated to Syracuse, NY and opened a Fried Dough stand at the market. She looks a little different though. She has a new husband and her daughter helps her out and they're really, super friendly. Anyone would think she had nothing to do with Eminem and that the daughter wasn't actually Hailie. But we know better. It's her. What to get: Fried Dough for $2 What else: I think my Dad's gone crazy I had the lemonade too, which was $1.50 and just okay. But let's focus on the star attraction. This is some of the best Fried Dough I've ever had. If you're up in Da Cuse and you want some Dough, this is the place to go. It's absolutely delicious and it's enormous! Basically for $2 they give you a huge long stick of dough (way bigger than even the biggest thingy, since you asked), and it's piping hot, greasy, juicy, fresh, delicious, and absolutely covered in cane sugar. I adore it. I'm not the biggest fan of some fried doughs, but this one is right up there with the best of them. It's made in a lot of places in WNY and CNY but I don't think anyone in this region makes it as well as Kim does. I'm so glad she left Eminem and opened up this place. And it's great that, at $2, you don't need a lot of Dough to get the Dough. So in the words of Homer Simpson: Dough!

The portions here are large and the food is delicious! The chicken/gyro and rice platters are similar to NYC halal platters with large chunks of meat. The "crispy cheesy naan" is more like crispy cheesy paratha (flaky flatbread) which was yummy. The pita is also thick and fluffy! My group also loved the salads and falafel. If you've never been to the Ballston spa location and it's your first time, things to know: - tables for about 12 people in the restaurant at a time (no larger parties) - it gets warm in there, no matter the season! - they serve canned drinks and bottled water, so if you're a guzzler, bring your large reusable water bottle My favorite part was how the hummus was the best hummus I've had in years.
