The Thursday afternoon before the wedding the flower shop I bought flowers from said she knew Sarah and to just take the flowers to her ( but this was not what we discussed originally) I dropped the flowers off but the next I thought this isn't right so went back to tell Sarah I would do the flowers. When I did this angel Sarah said that it was ok and she could do the decorations and add the flowers. On the day of the wedding we picked up the cakes and she even helped us secure the cakes for the drive up a rough mountain road. When I say she went above and beyond...I truly mean that! On a recent trip to Aspen we were celebrating a birthday in our group and I took it upon myself to order the cake. I came across d'Elissious through a friend who lives in Aspen. I visited there website and left a message requesting a cake for 4 days later. I got a call back and ordered a 6 inch golden velvet cake. The lady was very friendly and delivered the cake to our hotel for a small delivery charge. It was simply done in white with a "Happy Birthday" inscription. BUT what I really want to tell you about, and the whole world about is just how amazing this cake tasted. Holy Cake Gods! This was the BEST cake I have ever had. It was a sour cream cake with cream cheese frosting. The whole group agreed that this cake was straight from the heavens.
