Years ago they were located across the street, but the man (owner?) at the desk confirmed it was the same store. They did not have the book I wanted, but it was painful to have to leave the place without pursuing the shelves. .If you are a book buyer and are in the area, allow some time to check out this shop. It is well organized and well-lit. A thrift store and handsome household consignment shop are in the same plaza. I will stop at Wall of Books in October and will allow myself time on the next trip to make purchases.

The measure of a good used bookstore is a balance of inexpensive fair, alongside worthy finds, and rare books. Bookshelf hits all three of those criteria, and well. Not only that, but they have some truly unique regional works. I was able to pick up a few volumes at a fair, but appropriate price.
