Copper's Ice Cream & Candy is located inside the Copperopolis Town Square! I stopped in today to grab some coffee before our drive home. While I didn't see much ice cream or candy, they did offer some quick snacks like chips, small dry cereal and sandwiches - plus more. They also offered some yummy looking pastries. I saw a sign for their drink special that was a Crème Brûlée Latte so I decided to go with that. It wasn't really anything special - it tasted the same as it probably would have anywhere else, but I would have liked for it to taste more like coffee, rather than pure sweetness. They had 2 separate areas for sitting and lounging - in the front and in the back where the restroom was. It's a cozy little place and staff were very friendly! Check them out!

No chocolate. No Vanilla. Minimal candy offerings. They have changed their name to Cooper's Java House. The store has been remodeled and looks really good. The service was quick and the staff was friendly.

    Interesting map.

Extremely engaging and efficient service! She was greeting people, pouring coffee, making espresso drinks, serving pastries and ringing up orders. Pleased with the coffee selection--my husband had choice of light or dark for his brewed coffee and I had a great iced latte with my preferred Pacific soy. Also had a tasty apple pastry, like an open topped hand pie. Fun historical decor.

    2 scoops. 1 strawberry, 1 vanilla.

We stopped and got ice cream here when we arrived in town and the employees are really nice, but I'd have to agree with a previous reviewer that the overall ice cream flavor was more sweet than actually flavorful. The strawberry flavor had sliced real strawberries in it but the overall flavor was mild. Surprisingly the vanilla had more flavor. The texture was not bad. Somewhere between creamy and fluffy. Not very dense or rich so you may or may not enjoy it depending on your preferences. Still, it's ice cream and who doesn't like that. We each had two scoops and I couldn't finish mine as the portion was huge, but YMMV.

The ice cream was decent. It however tasted more sweet than flavorful. The Moose tracks had little peanutbutter cups however it tasted of just the little b'cups and not really much of anything else. The Praline Pecan too tasted just very sweet and didn't have much of the caramelised nutty flavour of praline. The staff was nice and friendly.

Great place, friendly staff, tasty coffee and yummy ice cream . The facility is clean with plenty of seating inside and outside.

Place was clean and cute. Coffee and service were the worst. Watered down and tepid. Unfriendly and unwelcoming.

Stopped here on my way to Yosemite and waited ~30 min for it to open just so I could try it. NOT WORTH IT! Burger was not memorable. Family members that got the smash burger said it tasted chemically... like cleaning chemicals. Disgusting. The only good thing was the truffle fries with the garlic aioli. The first couple bites of aioli were really good, but then it just got too mayonnaise-y. And, overall, they were no better than any other truffle fries that I've had. Mac & cheese was not good at all. The penne noodles were chewy, like they had been frozen. Cheese sauce didn't taste good. It was all on the pricier side as well, especially for what you get. Service was slow. I asked for extra containers so that we could share the Mac and cheese. The worker hesitated to respond, seemed like they wanted to say no, but then reluctantly gave me two cups/bowls. Why are they sooo stingy here?? Also, no free water cups?! They make you pay for water. Glad I brought my own water.

Their self-checkout has issues more often than not. And the people who are supposed to be monitoring the self-checkout are either not present or can't figure out how to make a checkout work. I rarely shop at this store anymore. The last time I shopped there the self-checkout froze on me and they attendant told me they would be back in a few minutes. That was several months ago. I have not shopped from that event until today. I encountered the same exact problem. If so check out froze up. I turned around and look at the attendant. She gave me a thumbs up. I attempted to keep scanning items and it was still for us up. I turned around to get the attendance attention. She was gone. My suggestion if you live in the area. Shop one of the local markets that care about their customers and know how to operate a grocery store. I would like to note that I do not immediately jump to Yelp due to negative experiences. I have written the save Mart customer service twice about the issues at this location and not received any response.

From the sign hanging out front, to the decor inside, and even the clothing the staff was wearing, the theme was evident. I hadn't visited Columbia since I was on a field trip in elementary school so when I got the opportunity to visit again, I was all about it. The first thing I needed before exploring was a coffee, because let's be honest, I was hungover. Brown's came to my rescue and put the extra pep in my step that I needed. I ordered a vanilla oatmilk latte and it was creamy and delicious. The gentleman barista of the day was very friendly and answered all the questions I had. One of them being, pecan milk?! I'm a vegetarian so I'm here for the alternative milk options, but that was one I had never heard of before. Pretty cool to see it. I have to imagine if you live in the area you know about this place and have likely been here before, so I'm primarily speaking to those that come from out of town... come visit Brown's. If not for a coffee, than one of their other offerings like ice cream, a baked good, sandwich, or even things like honey to take home with you.
