The first time I came here. Great! Great customer service. Did exactly what I needed. But I guess that's easy enough to do with a print out and lamination. The main problem I had when I was in the store the first time was, the fact that Andrew treats Hannah like an incompetent child. And that was blatantly obvious in his actions towards her. She's talking to a customer, "excuse me," she's TRYING TO assist a customer, he comes over immediately and wants to supercede and have her do something else. Or help someone else. Why? I don't know. Because she was completely capable of handling what I needed before he took it from her to do it. When I came in for business cards, it was the same EXACT situation. She started to assist, he comes ask what's going on and takes over. Having them attempt BUSINESS CARDS on the other hand. Complete joke and EXTREME unprofessionalism! I explained, IN PERSON, to Andrew, I wanted a black, square business card with rounded corners and gold font. Symbol on the other backside in gold. Andrew asked me to draw it out specifically. I did! RIGHT THEN AND THERE! he wrote down the "Title" and "Sub-title" of the card, (which I asked for centered in the middle of the card), as I illustrated the back as he requested. I'm supposed to receive a mock-up template the next day. Especially with a supposed "4-5" turnaround. I receive a template of a rectangle biz card with square corners and off-centered text, a completely different symbol on the back that I never chose, authorized or ILLUSTRATED in my example! Also instead of a plain black card it's draped in chains.... What?! Why waste the customers time in something they didn't ask for. Now I'm behind a week trying to have them complete what I thought was simple task. The problem was Hannah was the artist on this project and she was superceded from the beginning by her business associate Andrew, who always seems to undermine her. Instead of letting her get the information that SHE NEEDED, directly from me, in the beginning. Then maybe she could've handle this project efficiently and got it done by my deadline instead of putting me a week behind schedule. The sad part is, when I called back on FRIDAY, (went in the Sun before). Decided to go here to print an art piece and the first few prints came out with smudges and a line through them and the workers were in a rush to get me out and were very dismissive about it. After complaining they did a reprint and it still have the line going through it and decided to just leave. Bad customer service and bad print quality. read more

We had a squared shaped album, and the owner was able to scale the newspaper clippings and gave us a few options for paper quality. I contacted the owner through Yelp to get an estimate on a 400 page black and white book. The quote was $10 for the book and $5 for the binding. I felt it was a fair price and I needed 8 books printed so I asked him to make one book first and approve of the other 7 after I saw the quality of their work. Turns out the owner was only gonna charge me $8 for the book when I showed up (3 cents per page their standard cost for black & white) but it wasn't binded. He had forgotten that I had requested the book to be binded so I had to wait around for the binding (7-8 minutes). Then I could hear his (I assume wife) co-worker telling him he should charge more. She proceeded to come to the front and tell me it was going to be $12 if I paid cash and $14 if I paid card. I didn't have cash so I paid $14 and let her know I'd come back with cash for the rest. I come back a few days later and the lady, of course, told me it was going to be $14 for them even with cash. I'm ok with it since the initial price was $15 but I don't like going back and forth and I don't appreciate how money hungry she was arguing with me back & forth about it. I told her its only a few dollars but she kept arguing. Needless to say I probably won't make my way out there again to deal with her. Although a bit unprofessional, I think its a good mom & pop style business & I wish them the best. read more

I'm a previous customer and every time I come here, service is great. Today though, was extra great. I'm a Santa Ana Special Education teacher, as I was preparing for Summer school, I found the laminator and printer not working at my school site. I knew the Copy Print Center would be able to help. A very polite young man greeted me. As we started talking more, he learned that I was a teacher trying to prepare for Summer school and would be paying for the service out of my own pocket. He helps me prepare my copies and when it was time to pay, he tells me there is no fee. Service was free of charge since I was doing this for my students. I went there two times and each time they found a reason to deny my prints. The first time, they said that they cannot have a color copy of my documents. But I think young guy was lazy to scan and print a few pages. He said that it is difficult to do it! The second time, I had an image of my documents. The guy said that they cannot have color-print a Passport because it is a government ID. I have never heard about this rule. I wasted my time by going to this place. Was traveling in this neighborhood last fall and needed to make copies of a few items prior to mailing. This family run business was helpful with that small job and we saw that they have the ability to do many different layout, printing and coping projects big and small. A couple of computers are available to search, open, and print items that accessible via the internet. Their son Andrew has helped me prepare a couple of flyers as well as done some word processing for me as my 65 words a minute rate from 1972 is a bit rusty, particularly with Word and Excel programs.
