Calgary, Alberta, Canada. My go-to brekkie spot when exploring the region. It was one of the few, non-dennys/corporate, joints that were open at 6am. I patronized Cora's three times and unfortunately I lost a couple days of pictures from my trip due to technical difficulties. The joint has friendly, cute/childish, and welcoming charm. The typical Canadian hospitality was on full display in all it's glory. A pleasant dining experience. Service: A. Everyone was cool, nice and all that mushy stuff as mentioned briefly above. Food: A. Waffles - The waffle had a good blend of flour, dairy, butter and sugar. You can taste that the recipe is their own and not some commercialized junk mixed together for them to cut cost corners. Additionally, the amount of fruit on top of the waffle is over-kill which is good for consumers. Coras definitely provide generous portions. Omlette - It's nice to eat eggs that are cracked versus a paper box/carton. Cheese just drooped all over to add with the veggie flavors. Wrap a.k.a. Burrito. A little thicker than a crepe with a generous amount of sweeter hollandaise sauce on top. The wrap itself wasn't that big but the fruit and tatoes made sure to fill up the belly. Potatos - nothing to rave about. Fruit.... This was insane in a good way. The amount of fruit provided was a complete shocker. The variety provided ranging from strawberries, cantaloupe, watermelons, grapes, kiwis, melons, apples, bananas and oranges was beyond generous. Location: ? It's in a mall somewhere in East Calgary. Calgary is a small town compared to Los Angeles so I don't know how to evaluate location. Parking: A Mall so there is plenty parking in the morning. Decor/Interior: B Nothing fancy. Overall: A I love this place. The foods that was provided was real. How do you know food is real? They keep you full for a good period of time. That would be 10 hours for me. Ever notice how hungry you get after eating fast foods? Yep. Thank you Cora for providing adequate nutrition for an aggressive traveler =) Happy eatings my friends.

Brunch spot! I have been here before and I do enjoy the food the only thing is that I always know that there will be a line up. Then when your seated I you feel rushed to eat and get out fast for the next group to be seated. I also find that they are chintzy like lest give a table of five people 3 Jams and one peanut butter, it's just going to starting a family feud.

I've been to Cora's before so check out my other review!! Cora's is located attached to Sundridge mall near the Starbucks. I work in the NE so it's pretty close by. Lunch was coming up, I even brought my own lunch but its Friday and I wasn't feelin' my lunch. I browsed some Instagram photos and a food photo with some hollandaise popped up and I immediately thought of Coras. I asked a co-worker if he wanted to join me on my Cora run and he agreed. We arrived at around 11:45AM and there was a group of 5 in front of us so it wasn't a long wait at all. They've got a patio but it was blazing hot out so we opted to stay inside. It's been over a year, maybe two since I have visited, I forgot how cartoony and cute it is inside! It looks like they've got new items to the menu so that got me excited. I noticed they've got new pancakes, waffles and other plates but what caught my eye was the breakfast poutine. I was actually thinking about OEB's breakfast poutine when I saw this but I wanted some meat. I continued to browse but decided to go with what I normally get which is the Cora Special but I added a side of hollandaise. Steve went with the 10 Star Omelette. Our waitress was really friendly and making some jokes here and there. Food arrived and I had to remind her about my hollandaise sauce and then I got my eggs poached but they were rubbery looking. I'm not the one to send things back because I feel bad, but I wanted my eggs so I asked for new ones. The fruit was ok, didn't look quite as fresh but still edible. The food was very mediocre, nothing special. The ham was a bit dry, but the crepe was nice. I knew what I was in for though so I didn't expect more than just food to be in my belly. I do still really enjoy their smooth hollandaise sauce. I can put that s*** on anything! I got a side to dip my potatoes in and it was the best part. Steve seemed to like his meal but he's been to Coras before so it was the same old. Our original waitress didn't come by to fill Steve's coffee but some other waitress stopped to top my water. It's always nice to have that little sweet maple fudge piece they give you after you pay.

An excellent option for brunch with friends, if you can get table. More breakfast options than you can shake a stick at, almost all served with at least half a plate of their signature assorted fresh fruit presented with flourish (so you can feel good about eating out). Supposedly, people are addicted to the homemade lunch soups as well, but I'm avoiding it as I already have too many vices.

75 a cup and you've got to figure that most of that pricing is to recover costs from labour, not from the coffee, creamer or sugar.

The space offers a mix of seating which had indoor tables and a section with food court-style seating that's technically still indoors but feels more casual. It wasn't overly busy when I went, and the atmosphere was fine. Since I couldn't decide what to order, I asked the server for a recommendation. They suggested the Traditional Benny, mentioning that making it "Canadian style" includes maple syrup on the side. I also went with the Get Shorty Rib Poutine, which looked amazing when it came out, but the flavor just didn't quite live up to the presentation. It wasn't bad, just okay. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but I didn't think it lived up to the hype. I'd give it three stars.

Today I tried the SHAKSHUKA Stewed plum tomatoes, lemon, peppers, jalapeños, Za'atar spice, chickpeas, poached eggs, cow feta, fresh herbs, French rye bread. BUT I added an extra egg for added protein. It definitely needed it and I feel like the 3rd egg should be standard. Other bread choices would be a nice bonus. In the end it was a satisfying meal. Service is standard, open kitchen, nice ambiance showcasing eggs.

We were shocked to find another couple sitting at our reserved table--frankly, I hadn't anticipated it would be a shared table for eight in the first place. To make matters worse, we were rushed to order and pay the bill. After that couple left, another pair were seated at our six-person table without any explanation. Our dishes arrived in two separate waves with a 10-minute gap. They also automatically added an 18% tip for parties of more than five people, which I expect at least we should have a private table. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the server, the owner came out and became confrontational and aggressive. He raised his voice, saying I could "tell him what I am not satisfied with." Then he offered a refund, which I immediately declined, and afterward snatched a package of coffee from the counter and offered it as compensation. I refused again--it felt more like an insult than a genuine apology. After we posted our reviews, the owner privately messaged my friend, asking us to remove them and citing the "small Chinese community" as a reason we should support each other. That's incredibly manipulative. Using community guilt to pressure customers into deleting honest feedback is inappropriate and only reinforces our negative experience. I will not be returning.

By the time it arrived, everything was stone cold. The cheese was literally hard from melting and then going cold, the potatoes were undercooked and raw, and the entire meal was completely inedible. Spending $35 on food that went straight in the garbage is beyond frustrating, it's infuriating. And the $5 "seasonal fruit bowl" looked like someone's picked-over leftovers. A couple random pieces tossed in a container and sent out like that's acceptable? It's honestly disgusting and shows a complete lack of quality control. At this point, I would've been better off ordering McDonald's for a third of the price, because at least it would've shown up hot and edible. This is careless, overpriced, and completely unacceptable. 1STAR. Complete fail.
