I rented out my house for Ultra; to have laundry done of a 4 bedroom home after 10 people staying there getting every single towel and sheet dirty, it is just faster to come to a laundromat and do all laundry at once. I looked online and found this laundromat close to home. It works with coins and not a card which is a plus. There is plenty of parking and I managed to park by the entrance under the roof so my car was in the shade. Inside there is good AC. I was bummed there was only one 8 loads machine available. They have 2 but the other one was occupied. I filled 3 other machines and paid $19.5 for my total of 26 loads. Someone was maintaining constantly inside which is great. The place was busy. I had to split it over dryers on both sides. One dryer had stuff sitting still, I felt it and it was dry so I took the 2 blankets out and put my stuff in. Few minutes later some older African American lady came and didn't stop screaming and threatening me. She was gonna "beat my ass up" lol sorry just can't take that serious. I started recording and said if one more threat I was gonna call the police. Like that's just stupid, I can only imagine her temper if something more serious than a blankie taken from the dryer happens in her life. Thank god I have washer and dryer at home so I don't have to deal with the people here at this laundromat. There is no rules projected anywhere. I don't go to laundromats but I know it's an unspoken rule you don't leave your stuff sitting while others are waiting. I didn't even answer her, I had my music on my earplugs. The fact I ignored her just infuriated her but I'm not gonna argue over your blankie. B bye. Several of my dryers were done after but she was too busy going around the place screaming that other people were taking them up. All other customers were extremely friendly to me and asking for my machines when I was done. Maybe I established a "don't f with me" image haha yup its the Miami survival of the fittest mentality I was thought the hard way(: I was almost sad when she left as it was quite entertaining. So far for using this laundromat. For about $25 having everything done within 3 hours was not a bad deal. Also machines don't skip counting coins and coins don't get blocked which is great. read more

What I like about this place was that the machines are cheaper than other laundry mats. To wash it can range from $2.75 to $7.00 depending on size of machine. To dry its .25 for 20 minutes. There is a problem though. Many machines are broken which makes the place more congested with people since there are les machines available for use. Not sure is management is aware of the damaged machines. Many of them have been out of order for a long time it will be nice if they could be put to use that will alleviate some of the wait at the laundry. Staff is always friendly and very hard working. The detergents are also cheap to buy. read more

Nothing went right. Doing laundry in the coconut grove area seems to be as difficult as getting someone to understand you in English. I asked the lady who worked there where I can purchase detergent. She sells me what seemed to be the only option. Then I wander upon a vending machine with 1 time load options. DUH! Hello?!?! Offer that first. Or at least point it out. But wait... It gets better.... Mold in the machines.... Tried to buy dryer sheets from the dispenser, it jammed... And then.... The entire establishment blacks out!!! All power lost. So I drive by this place every day to and from work, and it used to look like a hole in the wall, but I noticed a few months ago that it started looking really nice - clean, fresh paint, new signs (in English, too!). And my laundry kept piling up and piling up... and my fiance was gone for the weekend, so I planned on doing all the wash to surprise him. Somehow the weekend got away from me, and he was coming home that night, and there was stil a BIG MASSIVE pile of laundry at the foot of my bed. Whoooops! I throw it all into trash bags and drop it off on my way to work, thinking at the least I'd get it back in a few days. Wow, was I impressed! Very inexpensive - only around $15 for a months worth of my FI and my dirty clothes! Well, okay, I pulled out towels & jeans since they're heavy and easy to wash and fold. But that's seriously only two loads of wash, compared to what would have been an all day affair. I may never do laundry again! When I dropped it off at 8am, I asked how many days, but she told me it would be done by the time I was on my home from work. Wow!!!! Folded and ready to go in my drawers. This is way too easy, I feel like I'm cheating. It's like I go to work and the Laundry Fairy does everything before I get home! The inside of the store is immaculate, the employees are very friendly. Okay, so English isn't their first language, but they were very willing to communicate in whichever language I preferred. The owner was very nice and explained that he's thrilled with new customers, and delighted that I saw the store and decided to stop in. I came during the week and although it says they close at midnight, the doors were closed at 9pm. I called to see why they were closed and they didn't even have the courtesy to pick up the phone even though there were still people inside. On the upside, they have free wifi so you can get some work done while you wash your clothes and vending machines in case you get hungry. I've found that Sunday nights is not that busy so take advantage (but since I just let the secret out, it might not be as empty). They don't take credit cards or provided change for smaller bills, but they do have an atm inside, which charges a fee for withdrawals. Was staying at the Epic Hotel and needed to do some laundry. Instead of getting ripped off by the hotel, I did a quick Yelp search and found Coral Way Lavanderia only 10-15 away by car. Coral Way is a quite large, well lit, and clean place. Plus they have a parking lot, which is HUGE in Miami! Laundry is $2.75/load plus $0.75 for Tide, or you can do the wash/fold service. They also have vending machines, arcade games, TVs, and free WiFi. Plus tables and chairs if you want to eat lunch. Only complaint: the men's bathroom is clean but missing a lock on the door, so have to minus a star. read more

I came to this place a week ago, and I couldn't believe that I paid $0.75 a lb for wash and fold! I brought everything in a trash bag and handed it to them. I came back the next day to pick up 23lbs of laundry all folded and separated according to colors. My socks were matched, and panties folded. It has been such a huge relief to get only some of my laundry done, but to also be so comfortable with dropping off my private clothes along with it; I thought "what the hell". I am so happy with the nice, fast, and helpful service that I am taking my clothes back tomorrow morning. I definitely recommend. The problem is it just was never maintained, and it gradually got worse and worse. But I just went on a Monday morning and it's a quick in and out. I spent less than $5 for two loads of laundry. Laundromat options are minimal if you are in Downtown or Brickell. This place is great. I've only needed to use a laundromat once before when my washer/dryer was broken. My new apartment sadly does not have laundry facilities, so I decided to give this place a try. First of all, it's air conditioned which is a big plus. So many other laundromats in this area have no AC which is crazy to me. They have many sized washing machines to choose from ranging from like 2 to 7 dollars or so. All the dryers are 25 cents and only take 20 mins for a huge load. They only take cash (quarters) but have an ATM and coin machine. They have some flat screen tvs, vending machines, and even arcade games. They also have many large folding spaces with little recycling bins underneath. I never had to talk to anyone which I kind of love. It was a Wednesday late morning and it wasn't busy at all, however it did get busier as I was finishing up around noon. I would suggest going on a weekday morning, the earlier the better. Overall, great experience. I will definitely be coming back here. read more

It feels weird to LOVE your laundromat, but I LOVE this laundromat. It's such a jolly place to hang out, just a great environment painted nicely in blue and yellow with kids' art on the walls and there's WiFi (?!) and the people who work there and who run it are very sweet and as mentioned in other reviews, they keep this place clean and nice. You can totally hang out here and keep cool and catch up on telenovelas while eating ice cream sandwiches from the impressive gallery of vending machines, I mean, what more could you want? Drying used to be free but now it's a quarter for the whole cycle -- which is still pretty great -- and have you ever heard of a laundromat that offers free English classes??! No! I bet you haven't! The only thing that would make this place better is if they also had Spanish classes, but since I'm the only person in there who doesn't speak Spanish already I guess there's not much demand. Anyway, this is really a special laundromat. I still hate doing my laundry but getting to go here does make it a less miserable experience. read more

I still love this place! I have been going here since 2012 and although I have moved out of the area, I still return to wash my big items and now I even use their laundry service. I don't know if it is affordable because I don't go anywhere else, nor would I, but my things are always ready next day. Also, in 4 years the prices are exactly the same as the day I first walked in. Look elsewhere for your laundry needs. I really wanted to like this place but they kept dropping the ball. Parking is a always a problem and sooner or later someone will scratch your car or hit it. Their fold and wash is horrible. I've had laundry come back with detergent stains, poorly folded sheets (how do you screw that up?) and missing laundry. They rarely have the laundry finished by the due date. The staff is rude with very poor communications skills. Every time I have asked them to fix something or pointed out laundry problems, they have given me attitude and excuses. And, they didn't allow me to pay with a credit cards after having told me there was minimum charge of $20 to use them. I had to go to the bank to take out $60 to pay for the laundry. I usually spend between $60-100/week on laundry for work and I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Avoid this laundry. read more
