My favorite mall ever! Is this party because it's a mere 10 minute drive away from my house?…read moreProbably... but that being said I love the Northridge Fashion Center. I enjoy getting a drink occasionally from Agua Cabana on the second floor, and the perfect mall snack is an Açaí bowl from Bearies on the first floor. My favorite stores include - Pop Mart, Box Lunch, Sephora, Bath & Body Works, Miniso, Hot Topic, Hollister, Old Navy, Journey's & Sophi's Cosmetics. It's a smaller mall but it's local & always a solid place for a hang out. There is also many on site restaurants that I enjoy such as Yard House, LongHorn Steakhouse, California Pizza Kitchen & Red Robins. There is also an Escapology located here outside the mall which is great as an interactive experience. The workers I've encountered here are typically very friendly & the mall is kept very clean.

It's a smaller mall compared to others nearby which tends to have more stores. If I'm here it's for either one or two stores or to just walk around to see what there is available. This visit was for something simple that needed to be done. Which I knew that they had a certain store. Surprising it was pretty busy for a Monday. Mind you it was a holiday and kids are off of school. But to see this place pretty lively was amazing. Each visit, tends to alway be pretty mellow. The stores aren't quite the same as they used to be. Loads of the stores that once thrive have faded away. But something new would takes its place. Hopefully they'll last for some time. I did noticed that the food court does seem to have some interesting vendors. Plus there's a new Panini Cafe at the old Red Robbin's location. It's quite big which I was surprised to see walking in today. They have both an indoor patio as well an outdoor patio. The mall isn't what it used to be. The bigger chain stores have gone or either went out of business. Macys is still there which I'm quite surprised. Regardless, people are still going to be buying whether it be a new store or an old one.

The Village Walk is predominately on the south side of Ventura however it definitely is thriving on the opposite side (North Bound) with mini plazas featuring Krave, Bridal shops, Pozi's (amazing greek style sit down fast healthy option eats), UbaTuba Acai, The Imagine Center (spiritual and wellness shop) and an endless amount of other great businesses around.... the Village Walk definitely lives up to its name. Street parking goes fast and you might luck into some throughout the day (majority metered), but the parking behind Whole Foods is abundant and available for just about anywhere nearby. I believe the first two hours are complimentary... they've done away and brought back the paid parking so many times over the years... it almost as bad as a few greatly missed spots that have rotated out... no more Starbucks near Chipotle. Despite the blemishes you can and should take in the outside as well as the in of any of these stores and restaurants.

Majority of the time whenever I stop by any one of these types of store, I go for the home department and decors. It used to just be Marshalls but they have branched out and combined with Home Goods. You still have all your clothing which can be a bit of a struggle looking for something. I feel if you're searching for something, more than likely you won't find it. Come with an open mind and I'm sure you'll walk out with something. They do have a massive clothing sections. More for female as most places tend to be. But their home section is quite impressive. Furniture and sort are alway good. It's a hit or miss if you're looking for a pair of something as a lot of the stores tend to get one or maybe a pair if you're lucky. But besides that, they have a pretty nice selection on everything home decors. Accent chairs, accent tables, lamps, mirrors, rugs, bedding, kitchenware, and so on. A very good selections. With home furniture, I do sense that the prices have gone way up from what they used to be with items carried here. You can still get somewhat of a deal but some of the items are same prices as you would find in more of the boutique stores. Each stores will carry different items as they get certain things delivered to their locations. I checked with one of the staff to see how often or when furniture gets delivered which she replied that delivery is pretty much all week but they never know what will be sent. It's a fun store to walk through and check the isles. I'm sure you'll find some treasure when you're not looking for anything. Plus they do have some designer items.

It looks like someone defecated all over the seat and crumbled up feces, covered toilet paper wads, and threw them on the floor. There was a literal pile of dirty toilet paper like you'd see in a hoarder's house there was urine all over the floor next to the toilet and it looks like someone peed in the corner by the door. I grabbed my daughter's hands and said absolutely not and left the store because it was so gross. I couldn't even continue shopping, knowing that they allow their bathroom to get that disgusting.

Right away, they captured my attention because of their great, upbeat, lovely, helpful personalities. I told them I needed 2 things. A nice vase & a Frying Pan. They literally took me to both aisles and showed the things to me; and I instantly fell in love with both the frying pan and the vase. My vase that I had for at least 7 years, accidentally fell and broke into pieces. I do have 6 other ones, but that was my FAVORITE!! Store was in a very nice condition, easy to navigate and was clean!! Along the way as I was browsing, other things caught my eye. I ended up buying this unique shaped large bowl that you can put fruit, vegetables or whatever you need to use it for. I ended up buying few other things that I needed, wanted and liked. I got: 1 Room Spray, 2 blouses (for Spring/Summer) a candle, shoes, tap light. Comes in 3, 4 small, cute, practical bowls for everyday use, Spring Floral dishes ( comes in set of 4). Also got some cookies, candy, and one soda. I know that TJ Maxx is also affiliated with Home Goods & Marshalls. Prices varies from one thing to the next. They had good sale items and I will definitely go back if I happen to be in the area..
