This place is awesome. I have been using their fertilizers for a few years and my lawn looks amazing. I reseeded a few years ago and their seed mix holds up much better then the grass I had before. Their crabgrass prevention fertilizer is just unbelievable. It lasts all summer and all of my surrounding neighbors have crabgrass while my yard is completely free of crabgrass. I do keep some of the crabgrass preventative fertilizer for July / August and reapply to the perimeters and areas that it may start appearing. This is far superior to Scott's or other Home Depot/ Lowe's products. It is also about the same cost or less! This place is also great at giving advice. read more

We recently had yard work done here in East Norriton by Corbo. The work was done exactly as stated and they accepted their 10% coupon. Happy with all work UPDATE: The Forman chose to dispose of my many bushes behind my SHED. I had to pay to get them hauled away, sorry to say their not reliable. Actually cut down a small flowering tree by mistake per Forman sorry work order wrong, really? Gave me 10% off with coupon then 3 months later re-billed me for the 10%. Don't use them! You will wait a month for the estimate, and then they won't bill you for over a year and then magically go back and find old invoices because there is only one person in the office. You also better use your email because they don't send out invoices! Worst service ever! read more

We previously used Corbo several years ago to take down numerous trees in our yard that had been damaged from a severe winter storm. We had no complaints then and were happy with the service they provided and the price they charged. Fast forward to early Spring 2021. I called them to get a quote to plant a bunch of Green Giants (privacy wall) for our backyard and asked for an estimate regarding other shrubs and plants. A nice guy Mike came by on March 22nd and made suggestions and told me he'd get back to me soon. Didnt hear anything after three weeks and then ollowed up. Got a voicemail back that they would give me an estimate by the end of the week, with no follow-up by Corbo. Since then I have called four times. When I got in touch with the receptionist I straight up asked her if they were too busy to do the work and just to let me know. She assured me that while they were busy, no job is too small and that they would follow up ASAP. This call was about 2 weeks ago and no follow-up. I called again (for the last time) two days ago and no follow-up or courtesy message. While we liked working with them several years ago, I am really dismayed that they couldn't bother to call me even if only to tell me they are too busy. The lack of response and the false promises to get back to me ASAP, are really unprofessional. read more

I will put negative posts wherever I can about this company. They illegally used my private property without my permission to place large pieces of a tree they removed from someone else's yard until it could be removed. I came home from work unable to park my car in my own parking spot. I had to call the police. All Corbo's did was make excuses as to why they did this. It didn't get removed until after 6pm. Inexcusable to use private property without permission of the property owner. The owner of Corbo's didn't seem to understand that nor care. All he said was they had no choice and tried to knock on doors. As if working adults would be home during the day. read more

We contacted Corbo to cut some trees that we have on our property. They were quick to get here and give an estimate. We promptly accepted the estimate and was told work would start within 2 weeks. After 4 weeks work still hadn't started so we gave a call. Upon speaking to the receptionist (I assume) we were told someone would get back to us. We are now on week 7 with no contact whatsoever. Definitely will not recommended them anymore, to anyone. Seems like they don't realy care about the small customers the way they do about the big ones. I would rather be told the job is too small than lied to to and made to wait for something that isn't going to happen. read more

We have used Corbo's many times over the years. Called them for an urgent situation. They responded quickly to assess the situation, and then to remediate it. They were respectful of my property, and of my neighbor's for which access was needed. This was a very big job. Good cleanup. Great company. read more

We had Corbo come out because they do work for a company my father in law works for. I thought the receptionist on the phone was very rude. We got a quote which seemed great (maybe because they know my FIL though?) but then they never told us when they were going to come do the work. Maybe this is how tree people work, but I kept asking for when they were coming and I never got an answer. One day they just showed up at our house and since they were removing some big branches from our house, I wanted to be home that day to make sure everything went OK. They also didn't exactly finish the job and just left without saying anything. I would not recommend Corbo. read more

We've had Corbo deliver firewood to us for three years in a row and also cut down some trees in are yard. They did the cut job efficiently and quickly, and honored our request to cut the wood into smaller prices for our fireplace. They also made sure to remove the wood from the grassy areas of our yard so as to not destroy the lawn. This year, we bought wood and it wasn't quite seasoned. They immediately dropped off a properly seasoned half-cord of wood the next day. read more

We used Corbo because we got a quote from them while they were doing a commercial project in our neighborhood. They removed old wood piles from several places in the yard, cut down several trees that couldn't be saved, trimmed quite a few others, ground the stumps, and did a wonderful cleanup job afterwards, all for a reasonable price, we thought. We are very happy with the work Corbo did in our back yard! We had a lot of dead Ash trees, that the previous home owners left for us to take care of. Corbo was great start to finish. Mike came out to do the estimate and he was extremely helpful to discuss the project and review the trees one by one to evaluate for what was in danger of falling. When the guys came to do the work, they went above and beyond! We had agreed for them to grind the stumps, which is extra cost of course, but they also filled the holes really well! And, they took the time to clean up the yard, and took care of some extra dead trunks near the new work areas. I wasn't expecting that, so we were very happy. With this type of project and heavy machinery, you also expect some damage to the lawn. But the guys put down some boards along the vehicle path to protect the lawn best they could. They also came back and seeded and spread some hay over the worst areas. Again, this was all extra effort and was greatly appreciated! They took care of 12+ dead trees very quickly, and you wouldn't even know the trees were ever there. Now we can build our shed, and put up a play set for the kids without worrying about falling trees! I recommend Corbo with enthusiasm. Great work, guys!! THANK YOU!!! read more

I called them to assess damage done to my trees and to provide an estimate. They never showed. I called them again two weeks later. This time someone showed up. After seeing the damage was inflicted by a competing service, the rep turned tail and ran, saying he didn't want to get involved in the matter. read more

I would not recommend this company. They are not reliable and have no customer service ethics. I have been trying to get a quote for work from them since last October and I have called the office numerous times. If they are not interest in my business they should just let me know that. read more

Corbo Tree Service just completed removal of a large maple tree on my property. They did a really excellent job. The tree was approximately 5 feet in diameter at the trunk and 70 feet tall. It had two smaller trees growing underneath that I wanted to keep. I was called and informed the day before they arrived. The Corbo crew were all polite, friendly, and really knew what they were doing. They were very careful when lowering the branches and trunk pieces to avoid damage to the yard and a nearby sidewalk. The trees underneath were not impacted in any way. The equipment used was very modern and effective, and the crew worked with excellent efficiency. They shredded or hauled away the pieces and ground the stump. Finally, they spread topsoil and grass seed on any lawn areas that were impacted. All this, and the price was significantly lower than other services. As they were busy, it did take a while to get into the schedule. However, if they were just waiting around to do my tree the cost wouldn't have been so attractive. Well done and thanks to the Corbo crew. read more
