I have to admit that I am somewhat reluctant to promote Dr. Young as I like being able to make an appointment, but I just have to share the joy. I've been going to Dr. Young for several years now and I have to admit that she's the only doctor I've ever hugged. I was in so much pain from my golf game that it literally hurt to breath. After one treatment I was completely pain-free and back on the course. I could not believe how efficiently she is able to heal people. It's a gift. For what it's worth, I have been to three or four different chiropractors and Dr. Young is the only one who did *not* say, "We're going to need you to come in three times a week for the first three months, then twice a week for six months, and then down to once a week for another six months." She just fixes you up and sends you on your merry way. My wife discovered Dr. Young because of her certifications in maternity chiropractic (maybe I'll get my wife to submit a review in that regard). Just got an outrages medical bill dating back 2016 from Dr.youngs office due to her old receiptionist Nateli misrepresenting insurance network status. I am getting an attorney for filing a case against Nateli for under the Surprise Billing Law. Any other patient getting similar surprise bill contact me. I am very disappointed in what has occurred in the last 12 months. Dr. Young was a wonderful chiropractor for me, but her office has refused to release my medical records to me or to the insurance company I need them released to. This is our right, legally as patients, to have access to our records. I saw Dr. Young many times prior to a car accident. After I was crashed into in February 2018 naturally I went back to her. For the insurance to close out my claim and pay me for my 3 weeks of lost wages, pain and suffering, etc. they need records from her office. After initially saying she would send them she and her office staff have since stonewalled me. For a year! I have requested in writing, verbally, email you name it over and over and they have never released them. I had a personal trusting relationship with Dr. Young prior to this. I recommended her to other mothers. She had helped me tremendously, but for her office to behave this unprofessional and frankly, illegally, is appalling. This is inexplicable to me, and so frustrating and painful. Next step is getting a lawyer to force their release, which I have been wanting to avoid. read more

Dr Young is a Godsend! She SAVED me during my pregnancy!! I had debilitating migraines that sent me to the ER 5 times between 7 and 16 weeks pregnant. Vomiting incessantly and hardly any relief even with narcotics, iv fluids etc. My doula, Ursula from Birth You Desire recommended Dr Young who fit me in immediately while I was on day 3 of a migraine. I came in crying and left her office with relief without prescription pain killers for the first time! I continued to see her throughout my pregnancy and when baby boy was breech, she helped to get him moved, and lined up without the transversion my doctor was recommending at 36 weeks. I saw her the day before I delivered and she helped to get him lined up and I was able to have a natural delivery. 1 week post partum, she helped realign my tailbone so I could sit and helped my one week old son who had come out with his hand over his head resume a natural infant body position (not just one hand up when he was sleeping). We met Dr. Young at our birthing class last winter. She does general chiropractic care but also has special equipment and training to work with preggos. After finding out that our baby was breech, where the child wants to enter the world butt-first instead of head-first, in the 2nd trimester, we decided to pay her a visit. She was also able to help another woman from our class who was in her 3rd trimester. My wife absolutely loved her visit because 1) she had a table that had a spot for your tummy to go in. Once she "entered" the table, it slowly declined so that she was able to lie on her stomach for the first time in months. She LOVED that! 2) she gave her a great adjustment. She discovered that my wife's hips were not aligned, which after talking with her she determined was because my wife would sit on a table with one leg on the ground and one leg slightly off. After the adjustment, my wife felt great 3) She also did some techniques to help the baby become not-breech (yeah, I probably wasn't paying attention during that part of birthing class where they covered vocab) and by our next appointment with our doctor we found our baby to be head-first. HUZZAH! Personally, I found the receptionist to be really helpful and friendly. I was tempted to dock a star for using the old paper credit card thing that keeps track of your entire credit card #, exp. date, and name, but the free Drink More Water in the lobby makes up for it. My wife loved the care so much that she now wants to go back at least twice a year. Which is fine by me because unlike a mani/pedi, this is covered by insurance (less a co-pay). Dr. Young has SAVED me during the third trimester of my pregnancy! I thought that the hip/pelvic pain I was experiencing had to do with typical pregnancy pains, but something didn't seem right. I was referred to Dr. Young and was told that she specialized in prenatal adjustments. Never a believer in chiropractors and expecting just some boring twists and bends, it was so much more than that. And, I ended up walking out feeling 100% healed and balanced. Best of all...covered by my insurance! Once I got to the office, there were quite a few forms to fill out so do yourself a favor and show up early. You fill out insurance information and more in depth info on what you're feeling (including marking on a body diagram where those feelings are). I was then led to an office with a special bed. Dr. Young came in and was really friendly and approachable, talked to me a bit about my history. She then proceeded to loosen up my body before she took a look at what the main issues were. Already, this felt even better than a deep tissue massage, as I felt everything loosen up. She then stretched out parts of my body that really triggered the pains I was feeling, and turns out my hip was out of alignment! It felt so good that i was finally able to locate and pinpoint where all my ailments were. She used the Webster technique which produced some interesting "AHHH YES" cracks in my body. I then went into a second room with a similar table but she made some final adjustments. Once I got up to walk around, I was completely healed! No pain getting up and was as good as new. I had a last minute urgent issue and Dr. Young was able to fit me in same day. She was recommended by my husband's chiropractor and although she does general and sports chiropracty, she is also an expert at pregnancy and post partum chiropracty. I was able to see her today to try and turn a transverse baby for delivery today/tomorrow and she was quick, knowledgeable, professional and incredibly helpful. Her receptionist, Natalie, is also amazing. She was so kind on the phone and very helpful to move appointments around to help me. The office can be difficult to find. Park in the main entrance area and walk along the sidewalk in the front to access the office. The office itself is nice and very large. In my experience, I was taken back to a room with a cutout pillow made for pregnancy. She "warmed up" my back, beck and hips, which resulted in a ton of cracking and surprising felt a lot of relief. It was my first time to a chiropractor and mostly because research shows the benefits of adjustments for baby positioning. She then could tell that my hips had significant torsion due to the fact that I have left sided weakness and compensate for it. She was able to make some effort to fix that, and as such, the baby dropped neatly into my pelvis for delivery. I probably could benefit from 2-3 more but I didn't find her in time!! I then when to the second room where she did additional adjustments and coached me on some positioning and what to do/not to do, which is helpful! Visited Dr Young for the first time as I needed adjustments due to pregnancy related pain. This is my second pregnancy and I had seen a different chiropractor for my first when I had these same sort of pains. The other doctor was highly recommended as well but after just one visit with Dr Young, I see that she blows the previous doctor out of the water. She really went in depth to explain the issues I was having, why it actually wasn't a normal pregnancy pain, how she would work to align, and what I need to do as homework to help adjust myself as well. Really pleased after just one visit and plan on seeing her weekly for the remainder of my pregnancy as I am in my third trimester. Had to take away one star due to the wait time. Dr Young really seems to take time with her patients which means she is backed up. I waited 30minutes past my appointment time to get seen (I had even arrived 10mins early). Also noticed that as I walked out the lobby area had at least 3 more patients waiting. Hope this isn't the norm for the office! read more

Dr. Young creates wonders! I am currently 38 weeks pregnant with our first baby. The baby has been head down and in a good position since week 34. However, she turned to a head-up position last week (I was 37 weeks and 6 days at the time) ! We panicked because she turned at such a late stage. My midwife recommended Dr. Young, but has also mentioned about acupuncture and ECV. We were mentally prepared that we might have to go with a C-section. I have never seen a chiropractor before, with a little hope, we gave Dr. Young a try. We were able to see her on Tuesday. She was very friendly and super knowledgeable about the prenatal care. She explained to us why chiropractic could help a baby turn, she was not trying to fix the baby, but to create an optimum environment for the baby to turn on their own. She also taught us some inversion positions that we could do at home, which she called "home work." We did our homework 3 times on Tuesday, and guess what? Wednesday morning when we went to the sonogram apt, the baby turned! I couldn't believe my eyes! I didn't feel a big movement inside my tummy, maybe she turned while I was sleeping. Anyhow, it is amazing that chiropractic works! We just saw Dr. young again this morning, because I also have pretty bad hip pain. Luckily she told us we should keep doing the inversion positions once a day just to keep the baby in a comfortable position. (Moms, don't stop, the baby may turn back!:) She also taught us some other stretching techniques. My hip has felt better since this morning. I will continue to see Dr. young until the baby is born. I like what she said: preparing for birth is like preparing for a sports game. I saw Dr. Young at the end of both of my pregnancies and I couldn't believe how quickly the back and pelvic pain disappeared after my visits with her. Not only that, but she is so kind and truly puts you at ease when she is adjusting you. She squeezed me into her busy schedule on the same day for my very first appointment with her. First of all, Dr. Young is an amazing chiropractor. She takes her time with each patient and makes you feel like your concerns are valid and like you will be well taken care of, that said, there are some negatives about Dr. Young's practice that brought my rating down to 3 stars. I stopped going to Dr. Young because of her rude receptionist and her chaotic office. The last time I went, the office was in transition, so a level of disorganization is to be expected, but this was quite a mess. I was not greeted by the receptionist and when I paid my copay, their card reader was broken so they took my information down on a post-it note. I waited at least 45 minutes past my appointment time to see Dr. Young and this was apparently because the receptionist had not told her that she had patients waiting. Once Dr. Young is settled in her new office and finds new staff to run it, I would definitely go back, but in the mean time, I will be finding another chiropractor. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Young for 4 years. I was diagnosed with athritis in my hip and will eventually have hip replacement, because I have favored the hip for awhile, it has become painful to walk, causing complications with other muscles. I used to be a runner, powerwalker and step aerobics. After two months of adjustments/treatments I can walk the dog almost pain free.
