I have been to many gyms and worked with many trainers the past 10 years and I haven't met a group as dedicated, educated and friendly as the trainers at Core Fitness. I originally bought a Groupon for spin classes and didn't expect to like it but figured I'd give it a shot. I was immediately hooked! I spin with Audra 3-4 times per week and she is an amazing instructor with great energy, great music and gives a great workout. I've only taken a few classes with Courtney but those classes have been awesome as well. The gym is small which is good- you don't get lost in the big bad world of meat heads. Everyone knows you by name and connects with you on a personal level. They really care and take the time to train you and give great advice. Their ability to relate to you makes you feel like you aren't alone in your struggles (whatever they may be) and that there are people willing to help you when you are ready. They want you to succeed and will bend over backwards to get you where you want to be. All in all it's such a friendly, judgement free place where you feel like you're with friends/family instead of working out at the gym. The trainers at Core Fitness and the routine that they do there is hands down the best I've ever experienced. For over 20 years I have been an avid gym buff and power lifter, and for the last 5 years I hardcore train for martial arts. Since I have joined Core Fitness 6 months ago, my back injuries have been resolved and I am now training at a level that I have not been able to do for the last 5 years due to the extensive knowledge of core stability and physical therapy by the Core Fitness team. Through strength building exercises and stretching I avoided surgery for my herniated disc and now I'm in better shape than I ever was. I can't thank them enough. After 20 years of "wanna-be" trainers, Loucas, Mike and Audra have taught me the smart and correct way to train, it's not all about pushing the weight, it's about long-term sustained strength and growth of my body, of my mind, and of my diet. I think now I'm stronger and more flexible than I ever have been. 20 years of trainers have never shown me the things I've learned at Core Fitness. After such a harsh winter of spending way too much time indoors, sitting around, I bought a Groupon for Core Fitness. This place totally understands how a small fitness oriented business needs to be run. The staff are very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable, the place and equipment are clean and they do little things like provide towels, to make the customer feel welcomed. I tried Audra's spinning class and even though it's a kick butt class, she took the time to adjust my bike and kept tabs on me during the class, without making me feel self-conscious about it, when I told her it was my first class. Then when I tried TRX Fusion for the first time ever with Brian, it was like having a personal trainer. Brian took the time to explain all the positions and adjust my posture etc when needed and was very focused and pushed me to my limits while still allowing me to rest if needed. It was like having a kind drill sergeant, if there is such a thing! If you're looking for serious fitness in a place where you won't be just a number or a warm body in large gym, Core Fitness if for you. read more

I started working out with Loucas about 2 years ago after my older daughter was going to him to help strengthen and condition her already intensive soccer regimen. I was impressed with his knowledge of athletic training, nutrition, and how specifically he pinpointed what she needed to strengthen in order to be stronger on the field. I'm a huge advocate of exercise and nutrition myself, and decided that going twice a week to Core to add on to my daily runs of 3-6 miles would give me results in toning that I was looking for. Along with running, I enjoy playing tennis and paddle. I feel he does workouts to help strengthen my muscles for these sports as well. He holds me accountable for my week of eating and working out. I've seen a huge difference in my strength, the intensity to which I can work out, and my mindset on the importance of pushing one's own body. This is the best money I have ever spent! The Core Fitness staff have helped me get my life back and most importantly, helped me enjoy life again! They are so helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. All of the trainers are certified (no bogus 'trainers' here). I have fun every time I go and the workouts are constantly changing....so it's not the same thing every single day. They are so flexible with my crazy schedule and always find time to fit me in. I recently joined Core Fitness as I really needed to do something about my health, fitness and weight! I am doing an 6 week intensive program, and at my 3 week weigh in. I had lost 5 and half pounds, and One and a Half percent body fat!, needless to say I am over the moon. From the moment I set foot inside, everybody was so friendly and professional. It is so immaculately clean and smells so fresh. The trainers are fabulous and encourage you every step of the way. I train with Audra and am so grateful to have found her. This place deserves 10 stars! Absolutely the best place for personal training and so much more. I started going to Core after turning 50, out of shape and feeling soft all over but after 2 years of consistent training, I've lost over 15 pounds and never felt better. Trainers will work with your schedule and accommodates all fitness levels. Trainers are all very knowledgeable on matters of nutrition as well as any physical issues you may be dealing with. Audra is the best trainer I've ever had. It's not just about money, she really cares about her clients on a personal level and takes it to heart. She genuinely cares about me and because I'm a teenage girl, she knows the importance of diet and exercise and how it affects emotions. She always spends extra time with me going over my lifestyle and diet choices (offering recipes for me to try). I have been going to Core Fitness for 6 years. The studio is clean and exceptional. The owners Audra and Loucas are great and they make you feel like you are part of their family and they care about you as a person not just a client. I joined November 1, 2013 and in three months with the assistance of their excellent trainer Eric T. I achieved my weight goal and love going to the gym at least three times a week. Eric listens and has the same desire to help you look great. He mixes up his sessions to keep it constantly fresh and exciting. Had the opportunity to do Spin Classes at Core Fitness. Firstly, very clean and organized. Spin area was comfortable and well set up...that's important to me. As a cyclist, I want to feel comfortable for the 'ride'. The two instructors that I had were knowledgable and very friendly. I've never been in better shape since training with the owner Lucas, and spinning 3-4x weekly with his wife and owner, Audra. The atmosphere is contemporary, upscale, private yet very friendly. I bought a groupon deal a few months ago for the spin class. It turned out to be one of the best investments. The instructor keeps us motivated through out the class. I'm actually very impressed with how much progress i've made in such a short period of time. On my first day of class I wasn't sure I could get through the class but with Audra's motivation it was a breeze. It's fun and a great workout!
