Because it takes me almost an hour to get here, I don't come as often as I'd like. I usually do the Friday morning class, warm Pilates. I absolutely love it. The place is clean and smells good. I suggested Pilates to a friend who was looking to increase flexibility, and we chose Body in Balance LI because it was close to work. Susan set us up with duet sessions so we can work out together, and she accommodates our different needs and skill levels (as a newcomer and long(ish)-time practitioner) almost seamlessly. Her instructions are easy to follow and her tactile feedback is immensely helpful. I recommend Body in Balance LI for both someone who's been practicing for a long time and someone newly interested in Pilates.

I've had 3 group sessions and 1 individual class I can feel the difference in my fitness levels, my ability to know when I'm doing something correctly and if not how to make the adjustments. She definitely works on your core but is open to address any areas you feel need improvement or just maintenance. She has a wonderful manner and communicates so effectively. The newest Pilates studio in town…read more Awesome location, inside the old bank. It's very cool. Staff is great. They're super friendly and they even have vendors come to have showcases (like Botox, jewelery, etc). Prices are standard for the area. I came for class on Valentine's Day and everyone got a card and a rose which is a very nice touch. You can tell they care about their business. I wish them luck and success.
