Doctors are recommending patients for an open MRI, patients go there or an MRI, and don't find out until they get there and given a gown that they don't have it. They ask the patient if they are claustrophobic and then tell them they don't have an open MRI. They have two machines - on that is smaller than a coffin, and a larger so they ask if you want to be put in feet first. I had a MRI and my doctor wanted one with contrast. He ordered it immediately and they kept making excuses about how it would take 28 days to get another one. My doctor faxed them, and finally called them; my insurance company contacted them and I called them. They said doctors depended too much on faxes and I know my doctor called because I kept tell them they wouldn't do it. I discovered that when 28 days had passed they could charge you again and they wouldn't do just the MRI with contrast but they did the other one first. They were able to charge $200 even thought I had paid $170 just 27 days earlier. They were waiting until they could charge for another MRI without out contrast (which I didn't need) and add the with contrast to it. I was very upset and would have walked out but I needed to get the one with contrast and my doctor had been waiting a month. I came away with the feeling of false advertising and feeling cheated because of the scheme to get paid twice.

My doctor's office had made referrals for me to have several x-rays taken at this location in the past. For immediate x-rays the patient can walk in during normal business hours, 9 am - 4:30 pm. My most recent use of the Claudia E. Sanders Imaging Center was for a scheduled Mammogram followed by Bone Density Scan. It was easy to schedule both procedures back to back at a time convenient for me. The Mammogram was performed by Melissa. As usual the appointment started with confirmation of my medical history. Then Melissa performed the Mammogram with the utmost care to make sure it was as comfortable as possible. At the end she advised me the time frame my doctor would have the results plus she informed me I would get a report of the results in the mail. Then she personally walked me over for my Bone Density Scan and Introduced me to Stacey. Melissa gets five stars! Stacey confirmed with me that I had never had a Bone Density Scan done at this location which was true. She explained the procedure and visited throughout the scans. She made sure that I was as comfortable as possible during the different parts of the scan. At the end she wanted to know if I had any questions and told me unlike the Mammogram I would not receive anything in the mail but that my doctor would have the results in approximately two days. She told me that I could view the results after that at U of L My Chart. She gave me a bookmark that contained much of the same information that both she and Melissa had told me. Then she escorted me to the lobby of the hospital and made sure I didn't need assistance getting to my car. Stacey also earns five stars Thanks to all the hospital staff but especially Melissa and Stacey for providing a five star experience! 2023/ #12

Really? The receptionist told the couple in front of me that it would be 1 or 2 days before the results came in. I asked if they could be emailed and she told me no, probably for security reasons. So, imagine my surprise, when I arrived home in Columbus 2 hours later and flipped through my emails, head pounding, and found my 'results' had been sent to me 1 1/2 hours after shooting the MRI. Seriously, you can look through two patients before me and 600 images of me in under two hours? What a crock. Clearly this is not incompetence, but criminal behavior. So I emailed https://radiologyassist.com/ and sure enough the lady told me that he only shot the brain and it is not the problem. It is the neck and head for which I specifically went to Cincinnati to have them shoot. Radiologyassist.com did refund the second amount but that is little solace when you dying.

I was looking for a place locally where I could get some answers for my off-and-on low back pain. Plus, it had been many years since I had visited a Chiropractor. I found C.O.R.E. Health Centers of Georgetown and decided to give it a try. I was happy I did! I've been going for about a 1 1/2 months now and honestly have no complaints! From the beginning, I was shown around, given a lot of useful information, and always felt welcome. All of my questions were answered in a kind, respectful manner. The atmosphere is much more relaxed than a typical Chiropractor's office without sacrificing the quality of treatment. I'd definitely highly recommend C.O.R.E Health Centers for anyone looking for similar treatment. read more

I have been tos everal chiropractors in the fommnity and Core is by far my favorite. The staff is friendly and so helpful. The facility itself is great and very clean. They are flexible with their scheduling and extremely helpful working with your insurance company. The care is the absolute best for my whole family. I know my children are in great hands when I come here. My children are ranged from newborn to preteen and they can help their growing and changing bodies as they develop. Core is amazing! They also have a great and very affordable massage therapist that has helped tremendously in some of our family's health and healing. Can't say enough good things about them. read more

I have never ever been to a chiropractor. I was finally to the point where I knew something was wrong with my back. When the pain was constant and I didn't just "sleep on it wrong". I was recommended by a friend who goes to the Lexington location. I called, they got me in RIGHT away and started my program the next week. This is my 3rd week and for the first time in FOREVER that I can say I woke up and had ZERO back pain. ZERO! Not to mention the team in Georgetown is so inviting, friendly and fun! I'm a new patient at CORE Health Centers in Georgetown KY. I attended a health conference in Lexington & CORE had a booth there. Scott Niel does marketing for CORE and he suggested that I be seen at CORE right away. The next day I was called & an appointment and massage were scheduled. Today was my 2nd visit and yes, Scott Niel was correct! It's early yet but Dr. Jesse, Dr. Barnes, Miranda the massage therapist, Brianna, Wills & Jordan are all taking care of me. The team at CORE in Georgetown are great! I'm a long-time chiropractic and massage patient and was at first reluctant to switch offices, but wanted to for convenience. I found and continue to find the doctors, therapists and entire staff to be wonderful stewards for my health! I especially appreciate having open and frank discussions concerning wellness, while getting educated at the same time! I've never trusted a chiropractic office until I found Dr. Jesse and his staff! My problems were not easy to pinpoint the root cause but Dr. Jesse refused to give up on helping me feel my best. It took some time and consistency on my part but has ended up so worth it! Dr Jesse went out of his way to make me better spending extra time researching what could have been the root of my problems. Miranda the massage therapist is great! She works on what bothers you most and makes everything feel loosened up. The staff is pleasant and fun. Dr. Jesse and his staff are terrific! As a new patient and someone who is incredibly picky, especially when it comes to chiropractic care, I was very impressed with how thorough they were getting to know me and my situation. Very kind and knowledgeable. Doc asked me questions about my previous adjustment experiences and then adjusted me in my preferred way, including some new methods as well as some great stretching. I really enjoy this facility! The adjustments and therapies have helped with shoulder and jaw problems in addition to mild back pain. The therapies and exercises that you do before the adjustment are also key. I'm a musician, and being in better alignment has helped my piano playing and helped to free up my singing voice.
