The parts of the lawn that were very overgrown were pretty evenly mowed and the rest of the lawn was just right. I did not expect them to be able to come the day I accepted the contract but they did. (We were happy they could.) I called them Monday and described the property to Sean and he gave us a quote for a one time mow. I told him that part of our lawn was very over grown (3 feet tall in places). Tuesday, I updated the description on his web site and he adjusted the quote. We spoke Tuesday morning to ensure that our description was clear. We accepted the bid then he explained his crew was going to be in our area so he suggested that we pay by credit card (we do not use Venmo) we did and paid the quoted amount (included tax), tip and credit card processing fee. His crew showed up around 2:00 PM. They asked my neighbor if they could park in his driveway. My neighbor said yes and gave them further input about our lawn. My neighbor said they were polite, friendly and professional. I would use them again if I could not mow the lawn for some reason. The prices seemed reasonable for the service provided.

Ben Boyd and his team at Arcadia Outdoor Services recently removed a large tree from our yard after…read moreit was damaged in a storm. This was an emergency job as there was a very large limb hanging directly over our home. We had several companies come to look at the tree the morning after the storm. Two of those companies wouldn't even give us a quote as they said that the job was either to difficult, dangerous or both. Not only did Arcadia Outdoor Services remove the tree but they did it safely with no damage to our home or property and all for a very good price! Ben was professional and made sure that the tree was removed without damage to our property but also took the utmost care to make sure his team was safe in the process. We hired Canopy Walkers for jobs at two of our properties. One is our residence, the other a rental…read moreproperty. We asked Roger to finish our residence work before he started on the rental work. Both jobs were extensive, with many trees to cut (about 22 at our house), stumps to be ground, trunks to be cut to firewood length and brush to be put in an agreed location on our property. We paid Roger half of our total bill before he started work. We had to call/text him numerous times before he finally showed up with a crew and an attitude. They cut down most of the trees in a few hours. Then they left. Over the course of 9 weeks, many texts/calls Roger or someone he sent, managed to show up for a total of 4 times. The trees are all down, but they are not all cut up, none of the stumps are removed or ground up. At least one tree that I wanted to keep was damaged by a falling tree. I suspect another tree hit my garage as the gutter is mysteriously separated from the downspout and the downspout has a huge dent in it. Roger also took a Black Walnut tree without authorization because he wanted to use it/sell it. I cannot in good conscience recommend Canopy Walkers to anyone who has more than one day's work to be done. If you only have a tree or two, you might come out okay. Give your big jobs to someone who will finish your job before moving on to someone else. Needless to say, he will not be working at our rental property. We still hope we can convince Canopy Walkers to complete their contract with us, but they don't communicate with us, so we have no idea what plans they have for completion.

During the job you and wife added more things like cutting down a tree that was growing over your neighbors garage, cutting a rose bush that first was instructed not to touch because it was over a hundred years in age and she liked the wild look. Then we were asked to trim a large rose bush inside the yard , we did that. Those jobs weren't apart of the initial job. Then when we came back we were asked to cut some more things down because the neighbors moved their car and also to now make a path through some hedges and rose bushes that have grown into each other . mean while the wife doesn't want the rose bush cut which is impossible. The initial job was completed along with a few extra things that we didn't charge for.

They show up on time as promised and they are fast and efficient, l have a lot of respect for their meticulous mowing around the gardens here. I don't have fancy gardens but they keep my messes looking orderly. They have trimmed oriental grass in the past and some juniper bushes this fall. They work in the fenced in yard, they trim the weeds, and they clear the driveway and sidewalk of clippings here.
