I will admit I was a little unsure about the classes at first, simply because they work muscles you aren't familiar with in ways you've probably never worked them. I was using a 2 pound weight in my first class and it felt like it was 50 pounds. 65 year olds were next to me kicking my but. A year late I feel stronger, healthier, more confident and LOVE every single class they offer! Cannot recommend this studio enough. Every teacher is incredible and pushes you to succeed. I'm thankful to finally find a workout that I love and that makes me confident in my body!!! Covid update: they offer SO many live streamed classes every day and a variety of classes. I'm not comfortable going in person and I've still been able to get my workouts in through a mix of live streams from all over the country and Facebook live videos from metro detroit.

So far I did 4 classes with her (I haven't tried the other instructor yet but I will soon ) and each time there was someone new and she would take her time showing them also. I am now stronger and getting use to the reformer and love doing pilates. I would recommend this place for everyone. I am dragging a few friends to join me this weekend and my husband in a few weeks. I also can't wait to try the other instructors.

I found MCB through the Olympian medalist, Kate (Nye) Vibert, and stopped by to try it out. I was blown away. It checked all my boxes and then some. I have an open-gym membership and have 24-7 access to the gym (perfect for my schedule), NICE equipment, and killer atmosphere. The part I love most is the family I joined. Since day one, as an outsider, I felt welcomed and valued as a member. Justin, the owner and head coach, is knowledgeable, humble, and just a genuinely good person. Since that time, we were automatically billed, which I never authorized, in late August and Sept so when I found about it I contacted them on October 16th to cancel and get refunded and guess what?, I got another billing on October 17th! They refunded 2 auto payments but still owed the 3rd refund and no resolution or communication from over 3 weeks ago. Be very careful about giving a card on file because they apparently can't be trusted and they have no signed agreement for auto billing. Great way to scam customers.

The dance studio that was marketed to the landlord as a yoga studio, is small enough that the music volume can be controlled, however, the owner jacks the music up and wears a completely unnecessary headset all of which is entirely disruptive to the neighbors. Rude when approached. Overall terrible for the neighborhood. Don't recommend supporting.
