November 2020. Dr. Angelina Alejandro promised she has been doing this for a long time, that she is a pro and knows how to get Debbie where she needs to be in her health. I explain to Dr. this is a huge amount of $$ for us but, Debbie's health is worth it "IF" it works for Debbie. I tell Dr. "this is a lot of $$", then asked Dr. point blank, what if it does not work? Dr. promises (swears up and down) her program will work for Debbie or should not have to pay. Witnessed over Zoom call with Me, Dr. & Debbie attending Zoom call. January 2, 2021 (start of program). Technical issues from the start - online modules did not work for first 4-5 weeks at start. Many canned emails (mostly marketing) began to flow from COHS. We notified COHS 1st week in January the modules are not working. When modules finally began to work (Late in January), emails kept coming in telling Debbie to work on modules 5,6,7,8 when module 1 just became available after weeks of waiting to get fixed. Dr admits, they own the Tech issues. We made request to Dr. to simplify program for Debbie with less emails because she began to feel overloaded with their emails (which started to feel like spam). The program was not making sense to us. Our request was basically ignored. Dr. not a very good listener, the program is still not user friendly, data overload and feeling more spammed. Dr. kept telling Debbie she is doing fine. Debbie still confused, not understanding the program, felt lost and explained this to both Elsa and Dr. Elsa seemed to understand Debbie's frustration and would try to get Debbie extra help. Dr. kept meeting with Debbie telling Debbie she is doing fine. Debbie trying to explain to Dr., she still feels lost, does not understand the program, not feeling she is getting the help. Dr. not listening telling Debbie she is fine - very disconnected conversation growing distance, then rude attitude increasing from Dr. Several weeks into the program, Debbie is supposed to meet on a weekly basis (all previously scheduled). Most meetings, with either Elsa or Dr. did not start on-time as much as 30 minutes late in some instances. Looking back at this, these were frustrating days for Debbie causing stress for either missing her workout time or being late for work waiting on COHS for these meetings. Debbie's frustration now growing. Debbie losing her positive attitude really wanting this work. Dr. late over 15 minutes for Debbie's final meeting. Dr. still not listening, overselling herself. Debbie's frustration ever increasing, Dr. now seeming to listen finally, hears Debbie's frustration getting even more rude, overselling herself, caused Debbie to be late for work. I stayed on the call with Dr. just listening waiting for Dr. to finish up her venting as Debbie needs to leave for work. I nicely asked Dr. can you just please make it work for her as she promised us? Debbie wants the program to work. Debbie already said she would re-start the program if needed but, Dr. now overly frustrated - it just feels like the relationship has completely dissolved. The following week, Elsa checks in with Debbie and understands they could not make it work for Debbie, says she will see what she can do. Weeks go by with not hearing from COHS. Debbie sends Elsa a text message saying she has not heard from them. Elsa explains, Dr. working on a refund. Somewhere in the middle of this - Me over-hearing just one conversation Dr. and Debbie. Debbie explaining to Dr. she is not understanding the program. Dr. tells Debbie she did not make the program so, rigid to allow for some flexibility tells Debbie she is doing fine. Then the next sentence tells Debbie she should have done this and should have done that - Debbie owns that for not following the directions. Now I am getting confused and frustrated. Throughout this whole ordeal - Debbie does her best to keep a positive attitude hoping this program will benefit her. Always kind and hopeful, Debbie really wanted it to work as it was sold to her. Dr. seems to only sell herself and her program did not keep her promise to either make it work for Debbie or "should not have to pay". We tried to make it work (wanted it to work) they just could not make it work for Debbie. Dr. offered only a slight refund - not acceptable. read more

In meeting with Dr. Cole I listened to all the things she would be able to do for me without giving any advice or suggestions. Then dropped the $4,957.75 fee. Being hipped by all she could do for me I signed up after which she gave a page of supplements at additional cost. The next day I called in and said I would not be taking the program. I met Dr. Jill Cole through one of her seminars on taking control of your health. Her program begins with a 28-day detox and education on grocery shopping, label reading, exercise and diet. Dr. Cole is enthusiastic about everyone's health, working with us on our individual needs and problems. I began my program on February 4, 2015, with a goal of losing 45 pounds. Her program is 3 meals a day with no snacks. I've not been hungry between meals (fortunately!). It's an adjustment for me to not have dairy, but I prefer to be the healthiest I can be...and I DO feel terrific! A paid consultation results in a sales pitch for a program that costs close to five thousand dollars. Yes, FIVE THOUSAND. She even works with a finance company so those of us who clearly cannot afford good health can then spread payments out over the rest of our lives. What is wrong with this picture? She does not offer conventional naturopathic services, only this program. And for me, it was three months. Five grand for three months. I was fortunate to meet Dr. Alejandro (Dr. A) while attending a seminar explaining the program she had. I was very skeptical until she explained in detail the health benefits. My health dictated a need for changes I had not received with any other Dr. This program has been very rewarding, The benefits I've seen and experienced have been remarkable. I first went to Dr. Alejandro about 2 years ago. What she said in that presentation and in the follow-up consultation resonated we me so I signed up. I had tried everything the conventional way and just wasn't getting the results I wanted. With Dr. A's help my underlying issues were identified using very detailed blood work I'd never had done before and appropriate supplements to address them. Dr. A is quite understanding that I need what I do with her to compliment the efforts of my medical doctors too and my medical team likes what she is choosing for me. I will say it is not magic, there is some trial and error and somewhere along the way I redefined my goals to be healthy, feel good and energetic and stopped worrying about the number on the scale.
