Darren Norris - the guy that in charge of the PT took him 4 days to address my issue and he said the funds will get refunded and I will get a confirmation from the gym . NON OF IT HAPPENED. For older members --I'm talking over 70, and there are a lot of them-- can use the elevator instead of stairs. Three weeks ago the elevator was out of service for 5 days. And now-- again-- it's been out of service for almost a full week including the last time I was there, yesterday. There is no excuse for a business that relies on an elevator for members access to the gym, not to keep it good service and to make repairs within 24 hours. I'm paying dues for all services including the elevator. Memberships should be refunded for the reduction in service. James Johnson

He set me up with my trainer Jeff Easton and I will say, he's the best trainer I have ever had! Everyone is friendly with a "Good Morning" upon arrival and it feels like a family. I turn 70 this year. I find the facility to be quite clean for a ten year old gym, despite showing a bit of wear for it's age. There's always someone on the floor cleaning up and restocking the sanitizer and paper towels when I'm there. The staff all seem to be courteous, friendly, and helpful. Having no experience with weight machines, I was fortunate enough to meet Ryan Williams, one of the trainers, on my first visit. After a bit of conversation with Ryan, I hired him to teach me how to properly work out, not just with the equipment, but how to train correctly to avoid injuring myself. He has demonstrated time and again that he's knowledgable with all aspects of his job. Ryan takes the time to listen and understand what my fitness goals are, and guides me to the best course of action in achieving them. He has helped me learn how to eat correctly to support reaching those goals. I would recommend both Crunch and Ryan to anyone considering a gym and trainer. I look forward to working out on the new machines that are slated to be installed this summer.

Parking was easy, with a large lot and no issues there. However, the moment I opened the door, there was a very strong, unpleasant smell. It was hard to ignore and honestly off-putting. I have been to other Crunch locations and have never experienced anything like that. The design of the gym also feels different compared to others. It is very purple, which I personally like, but overall it comes across as a bit dated. The gym just looks plain and doesn't feel like the others at all. I had signed up for a Zumba class, so I went to the front desk to check in. I was simply told I was good to go and to head in. This is the only Crunch location I have visited that did not have me sign in or give out wristbands. I even asked about it, and they said not to worry. The class itself was full, and the instructor was great. That was definitely the highlight and the saving grace of this visit. One other positive was that the group fitness room had a paper towel dispenser. I have not seen that at other Crunch locations, and it was really convenient. I don't understand how none of the gyms offer paper towels in their main gym areas, bathrooms or rooms. It's also worth noting that this location does not have a hot studio for Pilates, yoga, or similar classes, nor does it have a dedicated ride studio for cycling, which is something I have seen and enjoyed at other locations. That said, I do not see myself returning to this location, especially since there are other gyms nearby that offer Zumba classes in a much better overall environment.

WARNING: Fraudulent Business Practices…read more BEWARE: They will forge your signature to charge you for services you never agreed to. I signed up for a membership to use their amenities, including the body mass index scanner. On September 15th, I had an appointment to use the BMI scanner with a personal trainer named Lucas Rodriguez. During the session, he tried to sell me on personal training, which I clearly declined. At the end of our appointment, Lucas told me to sign what he claimed was a "liability waiver" required for all members using trainer assistance. I signed what I believed was only a liability form. Here's where it gets illegal: Lucas fraudulently used my signature from that waiver to create a personal training contract I NEVER agreed to. On October 8th, I was charged $200 for personal training services I explicitly declined and never authorized. When I discovered the unauthorized charge, I immediately contacted the gym. Both manager Luis Garcia and general manager Chris King admitted I was owed a refund. That was 3 months ago - I still haven't received a penny. I filed a dispute with my bank, which Amped Fitness denied multiple times despite their own managers admitting in writing that I'm owed the money. This is fraud, plain and simple. They misrepresented what I was signing, used my signature without authorization, and are now refusing to refund money they admit they shouldn't have The manager and GM both acknowledged I deserve a refund but continue to drag their feet and deny my bank disputes. A month after the manager's were made aware they continued to try and charge my account as if the contract was legitimate while claiming to work on my refund. DO NOT TRUST WHAT YOU'RE SIGNING HERE. What they tell you is a "liability waiver" might actually be a contract committing you to hundreds of dollars you never agreed to pay. This is a dishonest business that preys on its own members. I do love working out at this location and I will continue to use the facilities unless they ban me for this review.
