A small fitness studio inside a house in FTL! You read that right, a house! I came here to workout with my cousin as a different type of hangout. Rather than getting lunch or coffee, we chose to workout together. It's a great way to even out all the restaurants I want to try! She bought a class pass ($99 for 5 classes) here so I opted to buy one class ($10) to hangout with her. When driving here, you actually park at the Red Lobster right next to it. Once you park, you enter through a gate and The Office 954 is right there! The classes range from burning your accessory muscles (ouch) to boxing cardio to flow with yoga. We did the burn class which is by far the most painful class I have ever taken; a good burn that is. The instructor keeps you motivated and each class is limited to maybe 12 people (?) max as this studio is extremely small with just one room. This intimate workout is amazing for locals who really want that small class, personal trainer experience. I had the pleasure to workout with Jamie, the owner, as the instructor for our class. After our intense workout, she was extremely welcoming and told us a little more about her studio, how it came to be, and the things she has available within the studio. She told me she was going to start a collection of wellness books that clients can check out for $5 to borrow, read, and return. This gym is very different than many traditional gyms and gives that welcoming, personal trainer feeling. It's a breath of fresh air. I started working out with Jamie when The Office first opened. This is a boutique-style gym offering, boxing, HITT, floor work, pilates-like, strength training, spin cycle, cardio, and more. Some classes focus on ass, thigh sculpt, arms and abs. The classes are high energy with some courses that focus not only on your body but the music, for example, a class called Hip Hop Cardio Beat, where you can hear your favorite hip hop classics and new trending songs. Jamie is a music lover; it is not unusual to hear a classic from the Eagles, Madonna, Queen to R&B, Hip Hop while doing mountain climbers, burpees, or boxing. Let's discuss the boxing bags. Each bag has different them: The first the Unicorn this is iconic branding of The Office, Eye of the Tiger, the face of Biggie Smalls and Tupac. You have a picture of Luigi ( Jamie's Italian mastiff dog), Wonder Woman, and more. I believe there are only 12-15 stations, and this the beauty of it. The type of gym that is not crowded where the coach can give you the individual attention making sure you are performing all of the moves correctly. There is an app to sign up for classes. They offer single classes and packages of 5, 10, 20, 30 classes. Jamie's mom (Mom-ager) runs the check-in desk. She is very personable and energetic. It is also not out of the ordinary to see her working out along next to you. They have a cool energetic vibe that makes working out fun. You leave feeling the burn and accomplished. So I've been coming to The Office for about two months now, and I just can't get enough. All the coaches are amazing, the classes are unique and challenging, and it's just a badass gym that I look forward to everyday. I've tried out many gyms, and was a member of Orangetheory for awhile. I got burned out and was looking to change it up. The challenge I had with going to 24 Hour Fitness, or LA Fitness was that it was always crowded, people don't know how to clean up their weights, put them back where they belong, or wipe sh*t down. The Office is God-send. It's clean, you have your own workout area, and you ALWAYS get a good workout. The classes are intimate and it feels like a personal training session every time. It's unlike any other gym you'll find, and unlike any other workout you'll do. I workout muscles I've never used before, and push myself harder and harder every time. I feel more empowered, stronger, and healthier with every workout I do here. Looking for a fun, high energy workout that will literally kick your butt into shape?! The Office is your spot. They offer all types of classes, from boxing to strength training to classes focused on specific body parts, there's something for every body. Jamie Maitland is the owner and instructor for a lot of the classes and she is the best! She's great at keeping you motivated and pushing past your limits, plus she plays the best music and makes the workout fun. I've tried other instructors there and they are also awesome. The workout room is dark with different color lights shining throughout class. Music blasting makes it a fun and upbeat workout. Oh em gee! Found a new favorite workout... If you love exercise and hip hop music, this is the place for you. Took the hip hop cardio class last night and had an amazing time (and got in a workout) The music is awesome, not to mention the lighting and going in and taking out your aggression on a punching bag. Literally obsessed! Love, Love The Office 954. So happy to have found a studio that makes me feel good walking through the door and even better leaving class. This is the best I've ever felt in my adult life. Jamie, the owner, has fire in her soul. And so welcoming. The other instructors, Priscilla, Anthony, Sarah and Jae are the best in the biz. They will push you to the max and work you hard. It's the perfect blend of tough and fun. The classes are small so the instructors are actually focused on you. Each class is designed as a different type of workout.. some are aimed at specific body parts (Arms, Abs & Ass). And others are full body. My favorite is Burn. You must sign up and try this class! By FAR the best work out studio I have ever been to! Each and every class is designed for different types of work outs aimed at different parts of your body. Every week, I switch up which classes I sign up for and truly have seen a magical difference in my body. My favorite is the burn class to really workout those accessory muscles i never use (or knew about!) Not only has Jamie Maitland (the owner & trainer) created an awesome workout studio with black light effects to really set the mood ,but she has the CUTEST catch phrase shirts like "I'm Busy" & "Get to Work." The boutique gym also encompasses an amazing atmosphere, warm welcomes & good vibes all around! My favorite instructor finally opened her own work out spot! And it's right next door to my house ! Not that it matters because I would drive to Miami to work out with Jamie ! She's the best instructor I have ever trained with, so fun and motivating, the hour class just flies by.
