The best gym in Fort Lauderdale. I am here for the winter and will definately sign up again when I come back next fall. This is the cleanest gym I ever ever been to. Those guys at the front desk are always cleaning something. From the employees to the members, everyone is friendly and helpful. The staff greet me when I come in and know my name. Thats impressive! Guest visit 3.15.2023. Guest fee $15 Neighborhood gym in an unlikely neighborhood. When I travel for holidays I like to visit local gyms. The last few years I've been staying up at (the very family friendly) pompano beach, and it's taken me a while to get over here. Definitely worth it for folks who like to lift. This gym seems like it was organized by someone who a) likes to lift and b) likes reliable classic equipment. Upstairs isn't humongous, but, has a very usable locker room (with showers and spare lockers) and area for warming up & stretching (cardio equipment, turf, punching bag, kettle bells, medicine balls, etc.) Downstairs is where the magic happens. Equipment is stuffed in here and kind of reminds me of quads gym in Chicago (same vibe, not near as big.). I can't say enough about hammer strength plate loaders, and this gym has a full set for chest, back and legs. Has 3 power racks spread around downstairs, which is nice to have it spread between back and leg areas. Mirror situation is just ok (and that's because there is just so much equipment packed in here.). I could go on and on and list specifics, like the two sets of cables in chest or the 1 deadlift platform with bumper plates and such, but the verdict is ... super cool, local gym that gets two thumbs up. read more

I currently have been residing at titan gym in Fort Lauderdale due to a job opportunity out here and Antonio working at the front desk has the best customer service I've seen. I also want to give recognition to Brittany, I believe that's the name of the beautiful women working at night. I don't live in Fort Lauderdale but I will be purchasing a membership soon. Great gym that is what it is. You're there to throw some weight around and get after it. This is not a fufu type of gym. It is really cool though because they put picture on the wall of all the gym members. So it feels like a neighborhood type of place. They greet you at the door by name. It's just a good local business that you're glad to give them a membership fee. read more

My favorite gym ever! It's a small gym compared to the other places around like LA Fitness off SE 17th Street or powerhouse gym at Galleria Mall. But it is 100 times better in my opinion (and I've been to many gyms). Titan Gym has everything you need in a bodybuilding/strength training gym. It has an old school feel to it and the people there are down to earth. It even has a second floor for additional training. This is the only gym I have ever been to where everybody re-racks their weights in the exact spot where it should be when they are done. And it's super clean and never too busy. You won't have any trouble working out here regardless of when you get there. The owner is a super cool dude too. read more

Have been going to Titan off and on for the past 6 years or so, older owners when it was worlds and now Jeff the new owner. The older gym was alright... to the point but dingy and dirty Now under Jeff's ownership its freshened up/cleaner but still a more hardcore gym than anything around. For someone to say that this place is dangerous during COVID only shows a vendetta toward the owner. I have been in the gym industry for almost 35 years and the owner of TITAN GYM is one of the most invested gym owners I have ever seen. To say otherwise is silly and shows the maturity level of the person looking to cause harm to someone's business. If you're that concerned, stay at home. You can't continue to use a facility while complaining how dangerous it is; you discredit yourself and your comments by continuing to show up. Grow up and quit acting like a baby. read more

A small gym with not-so-many people that will allow you to work out freely sounds good. I left after 4 years, when poor treatment by the gym's owner simply went too far. His mood swings are legendary, and if you care, unprofessional and inappropriate. Given the equipment is aged and they only have one of most things, I was thrilled to be on my way. Titan is hands down the best gym I've ever worked out at. The owner applies common sense gym etiquette and expects his members to do the same. I've been a member for over 3 years now, and I wouldn't call it a "family gym". It's a gym for the truly focused, strength training oriented crowd. You won't see a lot of children, it's rare to see someone day dreaming, chatting, or playing on their phone while sitting on a machine... "focused" on their workout is the key word here. The equipment is a mix of new and old but functional. It's always clean, and the staff couldn't nicer. If you're a "meat head" or simply go to the gym strictly for your work out, this is your gym. read more

Really great, no-frills gym if you're looking to lose fat and build muscle. Unlike the local chain gyms like LA Fitness and Crunch Fitness, Titan Gym never pushes a heavy sales pitch onto prospective clients, which I appreciated when I was deciding to sign up. Personal trainers are readily available but (unlike the local chain gyms) Titan Gym does not trick you into buying a personal training package upon signing up. LA Fitness called me NONSTOP when I signed up with them, at one point almost yelling at me to get me to sign up for personal training with them. I had to call the manager and complain about their phone calls, to get them to stop. Titan Gym has always treated me with respect in this manner, and I like that they don't act like they're trying to milk every last dollar out of me. Titan Gym also doesn't have any BS "sign up fees" -- all you do is pay your monthly rate. PERIOD! :) Absolutely no hidden fees, unlike the other local gyms. Crunch Gym has a discreet $50 "assessment" fee after 45 days of membership, which they did not make clear during their ham-handed sales pitch. This in addition to the $90 "signup fee". Terrible! Lastly, Titan Gym has a very cool "old school bodybuilder" feel which I love. It reminds me of the classic 1980s gyms during the Golden Age of Bodybuilding. But despite this feel, the crowd has a completely friendly and relaxed, neighborhood-gym feel. There is zero attitude. All the members get along with each other and are friendly with each other, which is another thing I have never seen at LA Fitness or Crunch. Towels are free and always available at the front desk. The showers and locker rooms are always spotlessly clean, even though I personally don't use them. read more

I quit this gym today or perhaps I was cancelled. The reason why has arose with the owners arrogance and flouting of Covid safety. Gym members casually wear their masks without covering their faces as a fashion item not for protection. I asked one such member to mask up and he said he didn't need to since others not him have that responsibility. I next asked the self proclaimed owner to intervene. He refused and when I asked why he is not enforcing his own copiously posted signs requiring 6 foot distance he said I can quit the gym and so I have. The pandemic spreads and this managers arrogance and vitriol are a public health hazard. read more

This is a real gym. A place that you can go to, to get a GREAT workout and feel very relaxed. Nearly everyone is friendly, the staff and the other members. I was going to this gym when it was 'World' Gym and the Jeff and his team have worked very very hard to make sure that this is a place that anyone can go to. He made a lot of promises when he took over and he's kept them and made us all feel like a great family. If you're a serious powerlifter or if you're just in need of some cardio and some stretching, you can literally find it all at this gym. The gym has also been VERY fair and consistent with their membership pricing. They have never once tried to upset me on anything, they just want you to come into the gym and have a good, friendly workout. read more

Great gym, but overcrowded in the tourist season. Owner needs to take steps to make sure use by Florida residents is protected. In the off season this is a great place to work out. But they've sold too many memberships to visitors and snowbirds. In December this year, no matter how early I go, the parking lot is packed, and the gym is too busy to get in my workout in a reasonable time frame. Suggest raising the fee for per-day and per-week use, and charging an enrollment fee to non-residents for a monthly membership. read more

My wife and I have been members for over 4 years. Sunday February 21 while at the gym I asked the owner if he could take off the news channel and put on some workout videos. Jeff the owner went ballistic. Every other word was the f bomb. He told us it was his f-ing gym and he would put whatever he wanted on the f- ing tv. It went on for a while very loudly and degrading. The last thing he said as we were gathering our stuff to leave was that he mainly kept it on the channels he did To basically educate you f-ing conservatives. My wife and I are both seniors and because he was so angry so quickly that we felt we should leave. It's obvious to me he does not want our business. read more

I am from out of town and was looking for a gym to work out at during my visit. I gave Titan Gym a try, in fact I worked out on two different days this week at this gym. The negatives are that the gym is very small and extremely cramped. This is the most crowded gym, equipment wise, that I have every worked out at in 25 years of visiting different gyms. I worked out during the off hours but I can envision that working out during the peak hours would be extremely painful. Plus, there is limited parking and they instruct you to park at the church nearby. HOWEVER, the front staff is very helpful and friendly. Both times, the front desk people offered to show me around. The gym has old equipment but it is all in working condition. I like that they have pictures of body builders who have visited the gym or actually work out there. It's very inspiring. Also, the gym is clean and everyone working out there seems to be very easy going. What impressed me the most is that this morning, on 07-22-17, the guy at the front desk (tattooed arms) was running around wiping down the equipment because it was kind of slow at the front desk. This never occurs at any gym because most of the front desk people are busy looking at their phone, looking at stuff on the computer or just talking to the other employees. Also, when I left, he yelled from the other side of the room, "Have a nice day". I was impressed by his work ethic and friendliness. If I owned a gym, I would want him working the front desk! So, if you can go there during the off hours, I would highly suggest this gym. The daily rates are really affordable! read more
