The shop is very pretty, but the pushy sales tactics were overwhelming. What could have been a beautiful day turned into a disappointing and frustrating experience. The woman working with my daughter disclosed details about the ceremony to the bridesmaids, that she was told were surprises. She was dismissive to my daughter's feelings about it, and then pushed harder by pulling over her manager to try to get my daughter to say yes to their dress. Do not get your dress altered at this store. My daughter went for her fitting. She wore the shoes that she will wear on her wedding day. The dress was cut 2" too short in the front and uneven. They said they would add tulle and move the lace to correct the problem. We went back and they only moved the lace, so the dress was still 2" too short and still uneven. Coreena then got involved and said it would be fixed. We went for the third time. They did add the tulle and moved the lace and corrected the uneven hem. However in all the movement with the lace the dress has many holes and cuts in the outer layer of the fabric. This was extremely upsetting for my daughter. No bride should ever feel that her wedding dress is ruined. They also had to take in the top twice and it still didn't fit correctly. My daughter had to resew the top so that it would fit her correctly. We took it to a second tailor. The straps were not taken in correctly and were lop sided. We were also advised that the straps were stretched out due to poor hanging. The hanging straps at the waist were never used. We were told to be prepared for the shoulder straps to break during the ceremony or reception. She also had to resew the buttons and hook and eye because they were about to fall off even tho the dress had only been worn for alterations. We have also been told that if we steam the tulle it will shrink so the dress may still be too short. Buying the dress was a beautiful and special event. The alterations have been extremely upsetting. We are unable to order a new gown with the wedding 4 weeks away. When you spend over $4,000.00 on a gown the expectation is that the alteration experience is as joyful as buying the gown. Ours was not read more
