Unmatched! This was…read moreour 'formal' anniversary dinner and we were blown away. To start, we asked to be seated outside and couldn't be happier. We were a little concerned with the potential for heat given it was late June, but we were very comfortable with the river and fans for cooling as well as our umbrella for shade. We both ordered steaks and the came out perfect! Our server made exceptional recommendations (which we happily followed) and overall our experience was second to none. For both our steaks, they were cooked to perfection and the flavor can't be matched. I neglected to get photos, but I HIGHLY recommend getting the rolls. Not only are they super buttery and have honey butter on the side, but the flake salt on top adds that special little something that puts them over the top. Not a cheap spot by any stretch (and at least for our visit, valet parking was the only option), but given the special occasion, we were not disappointed. Highly recommend as your first choice for that special night.

First of all, the parking situation was abysmal if you wanted to self-park. The lot fills up quickly and it isn't clear which spots are reserved for valet or open to the public. After driving around for 15 minutes, I decided to order take out instead. It would have been nice to know if there had been an overflow parking lot. The food itself was decent, but nothing spectacular. I had the cowboy steak, the calamari, and the lobster Mac and cheese. The steak was prepared well with the perfect doneness, but was missing some more salt. The calamari was mediocre with the batter being more mushy than crispy, even when eaten fresh. The lobster Mac and cheese was unfortunately not great either. The lobster was cooked well, but the portion size was small compared to the cost. The shells were not cooked al dente, but more on the overcooked side. Pros: Staff and servers were friendly. Cons: Limited parking space. Very expensive for the meager portion size. Flavor isn't quite up to par with what I've had at other steakhouses.

Had a lovely time. We got a cocktail before we came at Third Door...took a shortcut through Hansell St, walked through the tiny but charming Church Street Park, and ultimately landed at our (mostly) nondescript location of Spring. Note that this is the "original"...not the more casual (but supposedly great) 2nd branch location. Service is welcoming immediately upon arrival. It is a small venue with a limited number of tables. Essentially the size of a living room. It is also a minuscule menu...but curated with care and delivered with diligence. Please note that I would recommend trying a wine glass or two from the available selection. They put thought into the list of options, so I think you can't go wrong, and you can certainly ask about what flavor profiles you'd like as the team is quite knowledgeable. We enjoyed the Domaine Terrebrune and the Pinot Noir, but I'm sure all the wines are wonderful. Food was awesome as well. Really loved their rendition of an Andalusian soup (ajo blanco...think of it as equivalent to a white gazpacho) and the foamy garlic cream laden pasta. Would also recommend the grilled grouper and asparagus salad with salmon on the side. We also enjoyed all three desserts, though we overestimated our appetite by the end of the dinner!

I found some lovely friends to go with, and we ordered almost everything on the menu and shared it all. This is the right way to eat here. We ordered second rounds of the tuna and the foie Gras parfait. I usually hate foie Gras, but here it was incredible. I can't wait for them to officially reopen in the new space. It will be on my regular rotation then!

This review is NOT about Dr. Kurey, but rather, it is about Rachel. How can I even start off?…read more Rachel is RUDE. She is unprofessional, (but sometimes she's nice? Maybe she is as Bipolar as I am...). She judged me based on my heavily tattooed legs (which she could only see when she was face deep in my crotch for my annual Pap smear). She once charged me $120 (I lost my insurance because of the changes to healthcare) to tell me I have TMJ and the excruciating headache I was experiencing over a two week period would need to be handled by a specialist. That appointment was 2 minutes long. Hats off to Dr. Kurey for putting up with her for so long. I have been a patient for 15 years and have never had problems with him. He is gentle, kind and straight-forward. Rachel, on the other hand, is just a mega-bitch who I wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole. She is more fitted for a position in a hospital, not a FAMILY practice where different types of people come in on the regular. Shame on Rachel for being so callous and rude to her patients who rely on her for help! I hate to do it, but I had to change my primary care physician solely because of Rachel and the rude "office manager" who says she "runs this place". Ha! Okay. Redneck trash on salary.

He doesn't seem to care about the actual health of the patients, leaves early most days and doesn't try to understand the issues presented or come up with solutions like a doctor is paid to do. The rest of the staff is great and so sweet, so it's a shame they have to work for a man who just doesn't seem to care about his patients. Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else unless you know exactly what you need.
