If you have thousands of dollars to waste, this review is not for you. If you are a baller on a budget just trying to to be healthier like me, please continue reading. I gave 2 stars. 1 for the information learned and service providers. And 1 star for the physical trainer, Damien Bond. He is 100% worth it. This company lost stars with the misleading supposed coverage and surprise growing bill a month later. The front desk will continuously schedule you without checking insurance coverage with their codes of service, and knowing that they will not process your claims for a month. Basically if CoreLife accept your insurance provider, they will tell you you are 100% covered, which is very misleading and should be illegal. I recommend going to one appointment if you want to risk it and waiting the month or whenever they file your first claim to see how your insurance handles the first medical code. They will also not disclose how much services cost. My friends and I compared the base pay and it was the same. The service type sent to the insurance company varied though. When my claims started to come though a month later I canceled all appointments because it was slowly creeping up to ~$1300. Cost per service at the Pasadena, MD location off mountain road, 2024. First intro visit with the nurse practitioner to go over the patient plan, take vitals and measurements ( including behavioral assessment $15 ): $543 First dietician visit: $408 First behavioral therapy visit: $389 Followup nurse practitioner: $225 Followup dietician: $267 Followup behavioral therapy: $389 The personal trainer is upfront with costs and have a selection of fair price points, without contract obligations. Please read reviews before you visit, and check with your insurance company to make sure you are 100% covered. The charge for the 60 minute office visit is over $500.00. It will be the same information I know we all get with seeing your primary doctor with anyone trying to lose weight. This is a late review but I feel it needs said. I would rate zero stars if I could. RUN don't walk away from this company. I went to CoreLife in Exton from summer 2022-early 2023 with the hopes of fixing my relationship with food and losing some weight. At my first appointment, I gave my insurance info and was told I was covered. I then proceeded to see all 3 doctors (NP, dietitian and therapist) weekly (sometimes more) for months. Never once in any of these appointments was I told I owed a dime. 6 or so months after continued care from all professionals, I received a letter in the mail claiming I owed over $2500. I would NOT have continued seeing the doctors if I had known I owed money. I made a few payments in office but then was told all PA offices were closing and all employees would be out a job. I wish I would have reviewed CoreLife before my visit. This felt like a scam moments after the initial visit. There was a 45 minute conversation and $600 office fee. They provide no information that is not known by the average person. No medical examination, so what exactly are we paying. It was just a conversation that could have been had over the phone for a person interested in the program. The conversation was heavy on medication which you can discuss with your primary physician. Once told the price for that visit, it was stated my insurance would cover, which still was not fair and a lie. I, like most don't have $600 to waste for no service provided. Very professional and effective program. I exceeded my weight loss goals and reduced my risk of diabetes.

This is not a typical doctor's office. This is a for-profit business. There is no co-pay. You don't get a walk-out statement of charges. Everything moves at a snail's pace so not much gets accomplished in 1 visit. They do that in order to make you schedule lots of appointments and to keep charging you for so many visits. But they won't tell you how much any of it costs. I've called the Patient Navigator and the Billing office multiple times but still no idea how much they charge for each visit, and I am self-pay. Even if you are using insurance, they won't tell you how much they're billing to the insurance company. The nutritionists at all of their locations are newly graduated from college with no experience. They waste time giving you a very basic nutrition lesson that everyone already knows or could read on a simple handout. The receptionist just outright lies to people, and thinks people are dumb enough to believe her lies. There's a reason why they've been reported to the Better Business Bureau (but they're not a member) and the only positive reviews online are obvious fakes. STAY AWAY! read more

I was seen there a few times, at their "flagship" office in Salisbury. My appointment was only 15 minutes, which was the scheduled appointment duration. During my first visit, the team member I spoke w/ was wearing a scoop next, which showed A LOT of chesthair (very unprofessional dress and appearance). What made the situation worse, was he began twirl his chesthair during the interview. In the end, he told me to "just eat fresh," I felt like he was pitching Subway sandwiches (thank you Jared). What a creep! The subsequent visits were less memorable, but just as short. What stands out, is each visit was with a different dietitian (and was told the last person "moved on"). I give this place a 1 star only because they had told me they accepted my medical insurance and called and received the benefit quote and I was covered with just a $20 copay. So I decided to include my husband as well because we both were trying to lose weight. I even said I wouldn't have done this if the insurance would not cover as it is somewhat expensive. After about 4 weeks of going together, 1x a week for about an hour we were told that our insurance didn't cover it and we owed $600. This would have been nice to know ahead of time instead of us continuing to come...and they didn't find this out for 4 weeks? I wonder how many people they have done this to as it is very frustrating that now I have to find a way to pay $600. read more

For those looking for a comfortable, low pressure way to lose weight this is it. The staff is excellent in making u feel motivated and excited about losing weight and moving forward with the program. They are willing to sit down and in a one on one discussion explain to u the measurement numbers and how they effect u. The entire staff from the front desk to the nurse and the nutritionist understand it is a learning process and they are definitely there to guide u along without high pressure.
