This is my favorite place to work out! The trainers are so educated on how to sculpt your body and you can tell it's truly their passion to help you reach your goals. I always get treated like I'm part the family and there is no other place that keeps me motivated for fitness like this place does! I joined CoreTech in November 2017 after attending an open house. The staff was so welcoming and it was an easy decision to join and try them out. Lennox is a great trainer and the entire staff is highly capable. all the trainers get to know you and encourage you along the way. I appreciate the staff's interest in my wellness, both in and out of the gym. Tameka has worked with me on a personalized meal plan and I've seen progress since joining. From an inexperienced staff, expensive membership, and subpar programming I can't recommend this gym compared to the many others in the area. I learned a lot about the place when applying for a position there and sending in my friend for workout session. They require absolutely no certification of any sort to coach and seem to base credentials off of total "fitness experience." There is no form of base certification and you can't guarantee the coach you will get will be certified as some other reviews mentioned. While certification isn't necessary for success, their methods are based around a combination of circuits with minimal strength training implemented. This may be fine for an out of shape client but any prolonged long-term development with this programming is minimal at best. The workouts are designed to increase cardiovascular demand and make the client feel they are working hard and getting their money worth. However, any real progress short of a few months past using these methods won't allow you to reach any meaningful goals. The staff there all seem to be fit and in shape but lack BASIC lifting knowledge. I believe I spoke with the owner and we had a disagreement on a bench press technique. He subscribed to teaching clients a flared elbow bench technique which is lifting 101 to not do. Flaring your elbows will create shoulder impingement and drastically increase the risk of injury. Granted, the programming doesn't allow for any real progression for a client to get stronger but if a client were to progress using this technique on their own, they would certainly become injured. Altogether, the combination of poor methods and lack of knowledge is irresponsible for any fitness facility. After searching for 5 minutes it's very easy to find higher quality gyms and personal training in the area for HALF the price. If your time, money, and reaching your goals are important to you I'd suggest to go elsewhere. read more

What I thought was going to be "personal training" turned out to be just an expensive private gym membership. Lennox was supposed to be my trainer and he was great at first. However, my request to only train with him were blown off. I trained for 5 months instead of the 6 that I "signed up for" (no clue that I was under a 6 month contract). After I decided to no longer train I received several text messages, calls and pop up visits to my job from Lennox. He seemed nice but now I honestly feel afraid and threatened. 2 stars because it started off great and ended badly. read more

After finally making the decision to get a trainer, I was referred to Lennox by a good friend. I have never been a gym person and hate even the thought of working out but they explained that I would be on my own path and they would work with me along the way. I have seen results and I'm happy that I joined. The small gym atmosphere is best for me and the encouragement the entire staff gives is appreciated and helpful. Being a busy professional - CoreTech is my now stress reliever. I have been training at CoreTech for four months and I feel great! Lennox and his transformation team are the best! (Shout out to Tameka, Corey, Cookie and Xavier) After several of attempts to work on my weight loss, I decided that I need to be held accountable and support. By attempting myself something always came up or i'll work out tomorrow and tomorrow became never. I found CoreTech through social media and went to check out the gym. I was looking for a small and no judgement establishment. In addition to knowledgeable and personable trainers and I found what I needed. CoreTech has a family approach (the ones you like, smile) and they are very flexible to my schedule. I enjoy working out at CoreTech with Lennox and his transformation team because of the amount of support that is given from the team and even the other clients. Plus you do see results! Coretech Fitness is a privately owned gym with top notch trainers, state of the art equipment, and classes that will challenge you and leave you sweating for more. They offer classes that use cable machines and treadmills to give you a workout like no other. Add bumpin' music and trainers who motivate and you have one helluva fat burn going on! I have been training with Lennox Gordon (owner) for over a year. I have gained strength, muscle definition, and motivation to reach my goals from his constant encouragement. He and his group of trainers are knowledgeable and know just how much to push to get the most from you. I thought this would be a great place to work out. I met the owner Lennox Gordon aka James Nails and he appeared to be a very nice and supportive person. I explained that I hadn't really worked out much since I had surgery and he assured me that he would personally work with me to help me meet my fitness goals. Things got off to a great start. I started to build strength and confidence in what my body is capable of. About two or three weeks into training, I was handed off to Corey, but that didn't go well so Lennox stepped in and took over the session. From there I was handed off to Ashley who is a good trainer, but not who I signed up with and she had clients of her own to train at the same time my sessions were scheduled. Lastly, I was handed off to Cookie, who is the office manager and not even a personal trainer. She literally ran back and forth to Lennox to get the next exercise for my workout. When I told Lennox that I did not want to be passed around he said that he would make sure that he was there for my sessions. He wasn't and never called or text me to let me know he wasn't coming. One time he trained his wife and left me with his trainee Cookie. I was charged the same price whether I worked out with a certified personal trainer or not. Every time I walked in the door, I never knew who I was working out with. No one ever asked me about my injuries, or medical history before any of the workouts. For such a small gym, it was very unorganized. There were times when I had to wait for a treadmill to warm up or cool down. The meal plan was very difficulty to follow and it took a while to grasp what I was supposed to be eating and when. The meal plan did not take my medical condition into consideration so I decided to work directly with a nutritionist instead of following the sample meal plan Lennox provided. After four months of working out here I decided to end my membership. I have received over twenty phone calls from Lennox, several texts, and he has shown up at my job three times uninvited, claiming he was in the area. My job is seven minutes from the gym so that's no excuse to show up randomly at my place of work. Bottom line is the services offered can not be classified as personal training because there is nothing personal about it. It is a really expensive gym membership and you can't work out whenever you want to. You have to make an appointment and if you like to work out before 9am, that's a problem. You would be better off joining another gym and working with a nutritionist to create a meal plan for you. A very expensive lesson learned. read more
