I especially enjoyed the variety of whoopie pies!! Chocolate with peanut butter filling was my favorite, but there were pumpkin, red velvet, oatmeal and even gluten free!! The bakery was clean and neat and had lots of other items in the gift shop. Don't miss it. I have told everyone in the area about it since I was there... Wish I lived closer!

If you have never been to Hummers or their stand at Roots on Tuesday, their staff is awesome. For 20+ years they have treated me and my family with respect and kindness. Very few places have chicken croquettes anymore and (per my husband) if you haven't had them before, you are just missing out. And the staff are incredibly friendly. I used to get my chicken, bacon, cheese - basically all of my deli and meat needs here (well actually at Roots on Tuesdays - where they have a stand) when I lived in PA and I MISS IT! Now I only get to treat myself on holidays when I look forward to a bad of beef jerky and cheese beef sticks, not to mention their chicken salad and scrapple. If you haven't tried them you are missing out!
