The good: Anita at the Maplewood office is outstanding. She understands the equipment and how to communicate. She listens to concerns and both shows and tells what to do in a way that is easily understood and remembered. By phone we also had good experiences with people in the Cambridge office and with Heather in the office in Buffalo. The bad: Communications systems are awful. The phone is answered by a machine designed to keep you waiting or giving up. Calls are not returned. read more

I would strongly suggest that you avoid Corner Home Medical. They will bill your insurance for things which they don't supply. Of course us as clients pay for that in one way or another. I had a very minor issue with fewer filters sent than were billed for. An extremely small item which was a minor thing that they refused to address. when they did send the two missing filters they charged for them again. They don't answer the telephone and don't return phone calls. read more

I have had nothing but issues with them over the last 2 years. The last time I was in there, to solve an issue they created from July, 2 months later I was sent a bill for supplies from that visit. I looked for the invoice and found none, also I didn't need or remember getting those supplies. I called billing and was told they had an invoice so I couldn't argue to much with them even though I have an invoice for everything I picked up that year but not the last things. Their up front person has very little customer service skills so is hard to deal with and it's easier to walk out than talk to him. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. my mother gets service from CHM and they are terrible. on two occasions they have left her without a working concentrator for more than two days. They missed a repair for over a month that was causing intermittent malfunctions - the bubbler was cracked and would stop the oxygen flow off and on. They'd send a tech that would say, well it's working now, so they did not fix it. Mom has several physical issues and would not always realize that she was not getting oxygen until she'd be unable to get out of her chair. She also complained of terrible headaches for quite a while now that may have been caused by lack of oxygen. I would never hire or recommend this company if I had a choice. We are considering changing hospice companies just to get away from them. read more

I don't think I could even give corner medical one star. But I will have to give them one star, in order to get this review out. I've had several problems with them, especially this location. Had surgery yesterday stopped to get a scooter? My wife when end waited 15 minutes nobody acknowledged her at the store.Was told that they needed the insurance authorization from my doctor. I was given a card to contact her directly, which is not true. After several attempts to call, I finally got an operator and asked her to connect me. She said I'll connect you. I went back to the same queue.Couldn't get a hold of the store. I still have no scooter. Extremely bad communication with your stores. I currently have a cpap order from my doctor through you guys. I may change my mind and go.Elsewhere. At this point I think i'm going to order a scooter through amazon, which will deliver it right to my house. I'm a young person recently diagnosed with sleep apnea. My doctor recommended getting a CPAP. One of the options for vendors was Corner Home Medical. I recognized the name from their ads. I let them know I wanted to try to get in as soon as possible to get my machine because my insurance would reset at the end of the calendar year. They got me in within a few business days, despite the Christmas holiday. Shout out to Sandra and Stephanie for responding to my email so quickly. When I arrived for my appointment at the Maplewood location, I was greeted by the kindest woman. The only complaint I have is she wasn't wearing a name tag and I didn't catch her name. The only reason I want to know her name is so I can mention her in this review. Based on my paperwork, I think her name is Anita? She was so incredibly kind. She has a very gentle demeanor. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the machine and walked me through step by step for everything I needed to know. She explained things so thoroughly and effectively. I feel very informed about my new machine. Between explaining the different features of the machine, we made small talk about the holidays and our families. Everything about what she did made me feel comfortable about this new piece of medical equipment that I'm going to have to incorporate into my life. I can imagine that someone who isn't as comfortable with technology would benefit from working with her as well. She made things really easy to understand. Dropped off my CPAP for repairs in November and they've had it till March! First they billed the wrong insurance (after I had already given them the new insurance info) and tried billing me $500! Than finally after months they billed the right insurance. In the mean time they've been billing my insurance company and me for a rental because of their mistake. They never return phone calls over the months and the every time I call back they've told me they would have some one call me back they never do! Worse company ever! The only time they call is to sell you new supplies so they can make money off your insurance company! read more

This place is difficult to get ahold of, not good at retuning calls. I have a disabled uncle who needs a walker for his mobility and the prescription just sat there for 2 months. No one has reached out to me to assist them in getting a clinical note that was needed on top of Dr prescription. The clinic does not understands what more they need and were trying to reach out to them. The clinic could not even get ahold of anyone. Now my uncle is just without until someone decided that want to call us back. Also the people that I did talk to (customer service) have NO customer services skills. Almost didn't use this store based on lousy Yelp rating. Glad I did. Good selection of products and great staff. Kim was a great and considerate salesperson. The lift chair I purchased for my Mother was delivered precisely when I asked for it to be delivered. I cant really comment on pricing as I was in a bind and didn't shop around much but the price seemed fair. Asked to buy a cpap hose. The guy didn't asked what kind of machine or show me the hose he randomly pick out. Since he works there I assumed he k we what he was talking about. Got it gone it was the wrong hose. I barely slept that night. I came in and said you sold me the wrong hose The guy didn't apologize and just got his manager. after 5 minutes of waiting the manager finally came out and didn't apologize just rudely asked what kind of machine I had. She gave me the hose then told me to leave I told the employees apologizes don't cost anything. He said it goes both ways read more

I arrived here at 4:50 PM to buy a CPAP part for my mother's broken machine. They are supposed to be open until 5 PM, but the lights are off and doors are locked. I will never return here and I will tell my friends to shop elsewhere. read more

I was on my way to the gym this morning next to the Maplewood location. I have to say the customer service at this store is lacking. An elderly woman with her husband was trying desperately to put their purchase into her car with NO help from anyone at the store. The elderly woman had her trunk open, both back doors and was struggling to put her purchase in her car. She said she asked the saleswoman in the store for a transfer chair that wasn't assembled so she could get it home okay. I proceeded to help the woman take her chair apart so she could get it into her car and bring it home. Took only a moment to slide the chair back off the base and then fit it in two pieces into her car. I was so irritated that this poor woman had to struggle. I went into the store after I finished my workout and had time to think on it. I proceeded to stop after my workout to see someone in the store about what happened. There was only one saleswoman working and she made a lot of excuses about what happened. There shouldn't have been any. The elderly woman was the only customer there at the time this happened. There is NO excuse for bad customer service. After this experience, I would NEVER recommend this store to anyone. If you don't have the decency to help an elderly woman for two minutes when you have no other customers and have the time you're just lazy and rude. Bad customer service to people who have physical challenges at a store that sells products for people with physical challenges is just gross! I have parents of retirement age. I will definitely make sure my family and I NEVER use this store. I'd recommend if you have a choice between this place and online. Buy online. At least it will be delivered to your door by a nice UPS, USPS or Fed Ex person and you won't be left to a cold Minnesota day struggling. Avoid this store at all costs. They do NOT care about you!
