I was happy to see this location near my workplace, but I wish I hadn't! The parking lot was a small disaster. Product selection was obscenely small compared to other locations. The clothing selection was good and well organized. Some customers were AWFUL and needed to be removed by security. I used "scan and go" and was pushed aside by an unruly mob upon exiting and was unsure I even paid properly as nobody checked my cart or provided me with verbal confirmation that I was good to go. Furthermore, the email from Samsclub.com I received to complete this survey waa glitchy and near impossible to use! UX is HORRENDOUS. I wanted to do a quick run in for rotisserie chickens and a book of stamps. I asked the young kid at the door how I would get stamps? He said to find an associate @ check out and they would get them for me. I thanked him and said that's what I was hoping it would be. I got my chickens and headed to the the check out. I asked a young girl for stamps. She asked if I wanted a book or a roll of 20? I replied I would take a roll. In all my frezy I rang everything and swiped my card. Nooo!!! How is my total over $94?! I called another friendly gal over. Not looking closely at the receipt I thought she had charged me for a new membership. Her looking @ the receipt discovered it was the $70+ stamps! I said no, the girl said it was a roll of 20 so if it was more than that, I don't want them. She said I would have to go to Member Services for a refund. I told her that was fine but I have Chronic Fatigue so I'll need to sit and rest in the cafe before walking over there and standing. With CF I am very calculated on all my errands to minimize steps and standing. So I sat in the cafe....the door fella came over to ask what was wrong? I told him my deal. He kindly offered to and then scanned my items so when I'm ready to leave I won't need to stop with him! Well...much obliged my good sir!! After that Jim appeared from nowhere asking what was happening? I'm unsure if he was the Head Cashier or just a cashier but he offered to do my return and ring up the correct item at nearby register 2. Essentially... Saving the Day! He did it in mere moments and I was on my way!! I apologize for not getting any other employee names....as I was feeling a bit frazzled. I'm not sure if I just looked defeated or the fact that I sat down after check out instead of leaving that flagged me that I may need assistance? Whatever the reason, I am very grateful for the outstanding service I received today!! Jim even apologized for the miscommunication in the stamps. The cafeteria is poorly designed. No way in or out with carts. The tables are pushed tight together so you can't place your cart next to your table. Their curb side pick up sucks ass!! So much so that I contacted the customer service link online, in which I received no response. Now, I'm here, complaining on yelp and warning all others not to bother with curb side. I've tried to give their curb side pick up a shot 5 times. I order online because the concept is that I pick it up and it's faster. The issue? They do not respond to the kiosks at the drive up. They never do, and apparently I was told by a manager that when you use the drive up kiosk to scan your card and select pick up, it goes to a walkie that no one answers...wtf Sam's club? Then I have to go inside scan at the pick up kiosk and start my wait all over again. Just remove the damn service! read more

I love that you can do an online order and pick it up after work with no hassle. This has been a wonderful service so I can spend more time at home with my family. My honest complaint is if there is ANYTHING wrong , you cannot get a customer service representative on the phone if your life depended on it. We have been members of this Sam's since 1985. (Previously "Wholesale Club.") It is what it is, a solid discount store. We have a "plus" membership, which more than pays for itself. They've got great Michelin tires, and I find all their quality to be solid. Their staff, though spread thinly, are helpful and courteous. They are good at keeping things in stock for the great majority of items. (The Coronsvirus has stretched them.) Their produce and dairy products are very good. I think their buyers do a great job; their small appliances and home goods, even if I'm not familiar with the brand, are always of great quality and reasonably priced. I've had consistent luck with the quality of their casual clothing. They've been a great store for us for 35 years. read more

We all know what a Sam's Club is. So this is not a review of the merchandise or really of the company, but of THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION. This location blows compared to the 3 other Sam's that I've been to locally. It's always ridiculously crowded. Somehow, the vast parking lot isn't even big enough. It's like the fricken Hunger Games trying to get a spot there on a weekend. The layout inside is even worse. The customer service desk is DIRECTLY to your left when you enter, and when the line gets long, the whole entryway gets crowded and people seem to forget that they can walk past a line if they have no intention of joining it. Also, this location just uses it's space very strangely. The area in front of the registers (where you wheel your cart after you've checked out) is massive. And there's nothing there. Just a big empty space. But when you go further back into the middle section by the books, clothing, etc. it's all jammed together so much that two people practically have to have a jousting match to get their carts past each other. So, my advice? Shop at Sam's for good deals/bulk items, but make the drive to Eagan or Woodbury for a more pleasant shopping experience. read more

Meh... Shopping at Sam's Club on a Thursday evening was not hopeful to say the least. I try to eat healthy and pay close attention to the ingredients in the things that I buy. I purchased a groupon for a Sams Club membership hoping they'd offer organic and non-GMO options. I didn't find much in store. In particular, there were not many organic produce options. I noticed organic sweet potatoes, carrots, and spinach.... but that was really about it. I looked online and observed organic items advertised. I believe Sam's Club could also also use some sprucing up with cleanliness. I appreciate the variety of checkout options that they have available. The first time I've been in a store that allows you to scan your items and pay right on your phone! I presume these options will be helpful for holiday shopping. read more

Sam's Club Tire and Battery shop had a bad experience with the tire shop and won't ever buy tires again at Sam's club. As a matter of fact, I opened an account at Costco because of the poor service provided by Sam's. I had an appointment to get my tires rotated and balanced. The second tech didn't show up for work. This was the second time this happened to me. bummer, I had a bit of a wait. No problem, it happens. When my car was done the tech walked right past me at the counter and started helping someone who just showed up. That took about 15 minutes and the person only wanted an estimate for tires, he wasn't buying today. So, I complained to the manager on duty who called me a liar when I said that there's always a no-show tech when I come to Sam's. Okay, I did exaggerate it wasn't "always", just 2 out of 2 times in 2 years which seems like always, but he didn't need to call me a liar. I was rather livid at that point and left. Two days later I took a different car there for tire rotation and balance. The same tech worked on my car. After 15 minutes I was called to the desk. My tires were over 10 years old and I had to agree to sign a waiver for them to work on the tires. I agreed. 15 minutes later I was called back again to find out that the tread was too low on my tires (I need new tires). They aren't allowed to work on them. Okay, I can understand that. BUT - he could have told me that the first time. Who checks the serial number on every tire without looking at the tread? The tire techs at Sam's Club, that's who. What's really bad, though, is that the person who arrived before me was made to wait until my car was done. He was there for way over 2 hours. As I said, I won't ever buy tires at a Sam's club again. I'm taking that business elsewhere - and I have two cars that need tires. read more

EXCELLENT MANAGER AND WONDERFUL STAFF! I had 2 separate grocery orders for friends I picked up today. I placed 1 order in the back of my SUV, and another order in the back seat. I noticed 1 of the bags of lettuce was missing, so I glanced toward the front of the store to see if it had accidentally dropped off the flatbed cart I was using. Nothing there. I quickly raced the flatbed cart to cart corral, then jumped into my SUV to leave the parking lot, when I noticed my purse, cell phone, wallet, were all MISSING! I immediately checked my car everywhere....no purse! I then drove to the cart corral, observed a flatbed cart there that was empty - no purse there. I raced back inside and requested "someone please call the police, my purse has been stolen!" A very nice manager came up to me and said " let's take a look". He traveled outside to my car, we checked it again - no purse, we walked to where I actually had my car parked, then walked to cart corral where I placed flat bed cart - no purse. The manager then when back into the store and back to the office to review the camera footage. After a while, he came back and indicated he had viewed the tape and there was NO ONE NEAR MY CAR. I was very confused because my purse clearly has disappeared! It vanished! The super nice manager again walked me out to my car, we then again checked all areas in car, ......no purse. The manager walked with me again to the area I dropped off the flatbed cart....again no purse. Then the manager looked all the way ACROSS THE PARKING LOT, to the very end of entire lot and observed a flatbed cart. He ran to it, checked it, and AMAZING found my purse! Oh Happy Day! What is so crazy about this circumstance is I DID place flatbed cart into the designated "cart corral". THE WIND ACTUALLY BLEW CART OUT OF CART CORRAl AND SENT IT ALL THE WAY ACROSS PARKING LOT! Who knew? I never even thought that was possible! But this manager was exceptional! Very attentive! Most people would review security tapes and tell me no one took purse and leave me scratching my head, trying to figure out what happened to my purse. This stellar manager went back outside with me again, helped me look a second time, and actually FIGURED out what had happened to the purse. He went above and beyond his job duties. Very impressed with the manager and excellent, helpful staff you have at this store. I would really like to know this managers name to send a Thank you card! The store is always crowded and there are always long lines for checkout. I often go to self checkout when necessary. The one thing I do like, is buying gas there. Thanks to membership perks, it is cheaper than most gas stations. It is on my way home, I can fill up my tank after work. read more

This in particular is a review of their club pick-up. (Usually Sam's Club is too much of a zoo that I'd rather not go inside.) This is my 3rd time using their club pick-up service. It's nice that you can bring your car in the drive thru and pull up your order through the kiosk. The first two times I used club pick-up, I waited about 10-15 minutes on average. I wish it was faster, especially since I get an e-mail that my order is ready for pick-up, but I get that they can be busy so I'm patient. Yesterday however, I waited 30 minutes outside for club pick-up. I called for an associate through the kiosk, waited another 5 minutes, but no one came to help me. I tried calling Sam's Club but they did not pick up. So I went inside and found an associate who was going to help me. He ending up helping another customer and then came back to help me 10 minutes later... Club pick-up is NOT convenient at all when you are waiting 45+ minutes. I wanted to call to file a complaint but of course they didn't pick up the phone so here I am leaving a review for everyone to read. The customer service here is near non-existent. My mother and I went to Sam's Club on the open house weekend. Everything was going well, until we were ready to check out. The lines were extremely long with only two cashiers open. Then, once it was FINALLY our turn to check out, the woman said when we first walked in we needed to get a temporary membership card in order for her to proceed with the transaction. Might I add that this was not told to us when we walked in the door, when we obviously did not show the greeter a membership card, and also was not advertised. So, the nice cashier held our things in a cart while we went to the service desk. Without exaggeration, my mother and I waited in line at the service desk for a total of 30 minutes before we could not take it anymore. Through our intense frustration, we simply had to walk out. Sams club lost a $1,300 purchase that day, due to the fact that we were going to purchase a 60 inch television and a Kitchen Aid mixer, all because of their extremely poor service. I would NOT recommend this Sam's Club location to anyone. read more
