I wanted something fun so I showed a picture of pizza art and Sunny was great! She's fast but meticulous. She made sure that she finishes flawlessly. The design came really close to the picture. I wanted to love this place because it was right by my house... I went here 2 times before writing a review. My first appointment I had shown up in time and she was still working on a customer which I happily waited an extra 20 mins for. I set my appointment time with enough time to finish my pedicure because I had some where to be afterwards. She knew what time I had to leave and had the audacity to charge me $2-3 extra for quick dry polish! UM HELLOOO... I wouldn't need quick dry polish if your last customer finished when they were suppose to! Don't charge your customers extra if it isn't their fault! Simple as that. For my next appointment I also got charged $2-3 extra because of the polish I chose. Mind you, she finished my pedicure FIRST and never mentioned the extra price until AFTER she finished. If I can give this place 0 Stars I would. I made an APPOINTMENT for 4:30pm. To get a gel manicure, I had SNS Powder on my nails before coming in the Color RED. Like a Ruby Red. I came in and chose my Gel color which was a light pink, not a clear pink (it had pigment to it). Well, I thought she would clearly take off my SNS before anything like EVER nail salon does or would do. Instead of her soaking my nails to get the OLD SNS Red Color off/ or filing my nails then putting foil with Nail Polish Remover. THIS IS WHAT SHE CHOSE TO DO. She took white polish, silver polish and the pink polish and did MULTIPLE LAYERS ONTOP OF MY NAILS. When I say Multiple I mean MULTIPLE. I have about 10-12 layers of paint on my nails right now. Which you can clearly see through the pictures. And you can see the white paint as well. She picked up that I wasn't happy and that I KNEW WHAT SHE WAS DOING. So she tried to offer me free glitter on my nails WHICH I DECLINED. When I told her that I was upset and disappointed. She then tried to make multiple excuses, and she tried to over charge me until I told her why would I pay extra when I did not get what I wanted at all? And she knew she was WRONG, so she said okay pay regular price then. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHE JUST WANTS YOUR MONEY!!!! Tried this place 2 times before writing this review. The first time I came in, I called and asked if they could do a marble acrylic, and they said yes. Otherwise, I would not have came in. So, I come in maybe 2-3 hours later to get a fresh set of powder acrylic nails. When it came time to putting on color, the lady said she couldn't do the marble design -- same person who said they could on the phone. I had no choice but to choose a different color. She cut my cuticles pretty deep, and they hurt for the next 3 or so days. I also don't do anything crazy with my nails, and they started lifting no more than 2 days after I got them done. For almost $90, I would expect them to last a little longer. Second time in, I requested gel acrylics because I read they were stronger and healthier. What I didn't know was there was several methods I guess of doing so. Again, I got fake nails glued on with the gel polish on top instead of having the full nail made from UV Gel, something I learned after this place. I asked again when they were able to do marble print because I had really wanted to get that done, and she said come back in about 3 weeks because we didn't have the material yet or something along those lines. Granted, these ones lasted more or less the same amount of time as the first one. This time, it came out to about $100 after tip.. When I went to a different salon, the nail techs there said the person who did my nails last cut my cuticles so deep that they were starting to get infected. As a person who tried out this whole nail thing for the first time, I thought I'd be educated a bit more about the whole process, and the staff at Corner Nail didn't do such a good job on that. Overall, either there was a miscommunication or they lied about them being able to do marble nails just so I could come in anyway. Sadly, won't be returning to this salon. Nice, sweet staff, but personally not the salon for me. read more

Such a nice place and amazing nail tech. She really takes her time and wants to perfect the nails especially when it comes to design. I wanted a simple cute Christmas design for the holidays, and I am leaving with these amazing nails that I never thought I would have. She really took her time to make sure I was happy. I'm not sure why I gave then 4 stars before, but I went to get a gel mani and pedi yesterday and they really deserve 5 stars. I love this salon. They take their time to get everything right and they make you feel like family. They remembered me from my last visit and asked me how everything was going from then on. Sunny did my gel mani and she made sure to give me her honest opinion. I asked about having powder done but she said that because my nails are brittle, powder won't be great for my type of nails, which I really appreciated. The other technicians are just as friendly as sunny, its unfortunate I didn't get the technician who did my pedicure. I absolutely love this nail salon. They are super professional and friendly. Unlike other nail salons that have 1-2 good nail technicians, so far, all have done a great job on my nails. For regular manicures, they add scented oil and you get to choose the scent. I love the lavender, but the orange scent was nice as well. I've been coming here for a while now and I've had little to no complaints until recently every time I went to get a pedicure they've cut my nails so short that it was painful and each time ended up giving me ingrown toenails! I've went back to see if they can cut it better but they've only seem to made it worse! I've never had this problem before I started coming here!!! She even had the nerve to charge me extra for a Polish change, when she had it posted for only $8. I ended up spending $13 because she said, we need to buff the nails and use oil. My thing is , then, post that on your price list, don't, Add on charges, just because you want more money. I came for the first time on a quiet weekday. Sunny greeted me and got my settled in very quickly. She was very friendly and attentive, making sure I was comfortable. She started my manicure while her coworker (who did my pedicure) was returning from lunch. I did feel like their color selection was a little limited, they have a good range but I couldn't find my regular favorites. I ended up paying $2 more for the longer laBoth my manicure and pedicure treatments were carefully and beautifully done. They massage you with aromatherapy oils too! The whole time she was doing my nails, she kept telling me how small and broken my nails were. It also felt like she was rushing even though no one was in there. She was also giving me excuses about the design before she even began. The design was nothing intricate and seeing the designs she had done in the past, I didn't think it would be a problem. She didn't even bring the lines across my whole nail. I guess she really just didn't want to do it for whatever reason. It was so bad I actually had to go somewhere else just for the design. But this place was the total opposite I got there at 7pm on a Friday I had a pedicure with a massage with lavender essential oil and the stones felt like heaven then while I was having my toenails ready Sunny the nail tech started working on my nails and she took her time doing them! Both the lady that did my pedicure her name is Ann and Sunny the lady who did my nails are so attentive!Lemme tell you that Sunny is a perfectionist and she does an excellent job! This was my first time getting my nails done here, I was getting a set of tips and a pedicure. It was recommended by my aunt and I didn't go in with super high expectations, however the end result definitely surprised me. When I walked in to the salon it was much smaller than the salons I normally go to. The people were very kind and accommodating. Sunny, (the owner of the salon) did my tips as well as my pedicure. She also explained to me the different types of gels and powder so that I could choose the best one. I ended up choosing the LCN gel tips which I had never gotten before, after trying it I will definitely be getting the LCN gel every time I get a set of tips, and recommend it to anyone else. Although it was a bit pricey it was definitely worth the amount of money I spent. Overall I was extremely pleased with the service and the results, and definitely recommend trying it. read more

You have to be really firm with what services you want. First time I went to this salon I asked for Pedicure and Powder gel manicure. Owner of the salon suggested spa pedicure with a hot stone massage. I said no thank you because I'm not a huge fan of massages. They pretended to not understand me and did it anyways. I came home and got a massive allergic reaction on my leg from the essential oils they used. Plus I ended up spending a lot more money. Since owner of the salon did an awesome job on my nails, I decided to give them another chance.
