I absolutely adore this nail salon! Stephanie, the owner, is an absolute sweetheart; she goes above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and 100% satisfied with the nails. She offers many many services and her prices are extremely fair. Her attention to detail and skill is honestly astonishing. I've gone to her twice so far and I've left extremely happy both times. I've gotten gel builder on my natural nails both times and the first time lasted me the whole month! The nail salon is located on the second floor of a hair salon so it may be difficult to find for first timers! The decor and overall setting of the salon is super cute and inviting.
Where do I even start? Steph does an outstanding job at her craft. There are many times where I'll come in with an idea, and leave with something completely different just because this chick always makes suggestions or tweaks to what I originally want. This is not a bad idea just because her ideas are EVEN BETTER than my original ones. (I mean see the pictures for yourselves!) Parking spaces are hard to find in flushing, but you can always commute by transit considering that there are so many buses and it's conveniently located two blocks away from the 7 train. Don't expect this to be your average nail salon, because it's a much more intimate setting. Not a cramped space, but rather a cozy aesthetic feel with flowers along the walls, and her mother's succulents decorating the shelves! Because steph takes her time with her clients and is also a full time student, the "downside" is that it's run by appointment only- so feel free to dm her on insta @stephthenailtech! Pricing is for sure reasonable- you get a bang for your buck because she focuses on QUALITY. She is so gentle with your nails, unlike my other unpleasant salon visits with cutting too deep in to the cuticle and making me bleed :( Excited to come back again! See you soon Stephanie

First of all, I was short sighted by the cost of the entire thing. Apparently there was a $13-$15 extra for Stephanie's special nail polish?? That was added without my knowledge and when I asked about it the guy told me it was tax?? Also my mani and pedi chipped after one week. After paying $80 with tip for the whole thing.
Could not have asked for a better experience. Sarah worked on my dip powder extensions and they came out wonderfully. The ambiance is also what made this a five star experience. It just felt like a group of friends coming together even though this was my first time meeting Steph and Sarah. I was confused at first since they share the space with Messlook salon (they're upstairs), but a quick call was all that was needed. I definitely recommend both Sarah and Steph, they do an amazing job on your nails and at making you feel comfortable.
Steph is SO friendly and a literal perfectionist aka exactly what you want your nail artist to be! She will tend to whatever your request is and do it amazingly. I was very pleased that she didn't damage my cuticles (I really hate when nail techs push my cuticles too hard since I don't like them cut). She's also very sanitary, you'll see how she sanitizes and uses new items.

I love this nail salon & Steph, who runs it - such a boss. Crazy that she's still in school. She's super sweet, talented and meticulous; really takes her time with her work. It's worth it because my nails turn out beyond perfect every time. She def has an artistic eye so I trust her to take charge with designs and they come out better than I could have imagined. The salon is clean and she makes sure that clients wash their hands, which I greatly appreciate. Her prices are very reasonable, as she uses high quality products and does an impeccable job. Can't say enough good things about her, but make sure you make an appointment because she can get quite busy.
steph is literally the kindest and sweetest soul ever! her service is amazing and she delivers so much patience and time for her clients. unlike other nail salons, she takes her time to hear your needs and is super accommodating to how you'd like to style your nails. she offers a variety of design options and can deliver the same art work as what you show her from pinterest! pretty amazing. my expectations were met. the salon was super clean and she disinfects and sanitize after each client. super friendly!! will be coming back again

She's also super sweet!!! I love talking to her while she's doing my nails. The prices are reasonable and setting up appointments are simple. I have recommended people to her and they all love her too. Definitely set up an appointment with her.

This was my first time here. Tiffany was the technician who worked on my nails. She is super sweet and friendly. She was very attentive and accommodating to the idea I had in mind for myself and always checked to see if I was satisfied with every stage of the process. I received tip extensions with dip powder and then gel polish on top. I'm Happy with the final result and have received so many compliments on the nails she gave me. I was also able to meet Stephanie who is super sweet and friendly as well. I'm glad I found this nail salon and I'll be coming back. read more

I want to say I've been going to Steph for my nails for at least 3 times so far but I feel like I've known her for longer One of my sisters introduced me to her because she saw Steph's IG with all these beautiful nail designs. At one point, I was not so happy at the one I was going to so I gave Steph at the Nail Bar a shot. Not only does Steph do an amazing, detailed, thorough job on the nails but she's the nail tech to go to, for any suggestions. I brought some ideas I found on IG to her when I had my appointments and she would ask me what I would like during the process. I'm fairly easy going and open to suggestions or recommendations, thus the beautiful nails on the pictures attached. - Prices are SO affordable compared to other nail salons - Apres gel extensions/fill ins - Skilled at designs - and a great conversationalist She has so much ambition which is one of the reasons I definitely love about her so her availability and bookings go FAST. Could not have asked for a better experience. Sarah worked on my dip powder extensions and they came out wonderfully. The ambiance is also what made this a five star experience. I was recommended to go to Steph from one of my friends and Im so glad I did. Steph really pays attention to detail and is super artistic and it reflects in her work. Shes the sweetest ever and I love all the work she does. I love getting my nails done from her, she kills it everytime. read more

Honestly, nothing bad I can say about this place. Absolutely love love love Steph. She's really the best nail tech ever because she actually cares about my nails. So many other places just use the drill to file down the gel, which really weakens my nails, but she doesn't. My nails always bend if I touch too much water or am rough with it, after going to other nail salons, but not when I go here. Both times I've been here I'd sit for 2.5-3 hrs, but I'll take that any day because my nails never feel brittle after the session unlike other spots I've tried. Majority of the time was spent on the removal, and she's super meticulous with everything. 2.5-3 hrs may sound long, but because she converses with me and is super friendly and cute, the time flies by. She gives me exactly what i want, and more! The price is super fair because she doesn't charge by the gem (I've gotten charged $1 for each tiny rhinestone). I paid $55 for the pink gel set and $40 for the dark red/black gel set. The nails also last a very long time, my first set with her lasted me 3 weeks (wouldve lasted longer but my nails grew out and I got it removed) and none of the gems fell out!! Always gonna be my go to, and I highly recommend!! She is very busy with school and work so it takes her a while to respond to appointment requests; just book the appointment a few weeks in advance! Steph is the best. You should definitely to go her if you want your nails to come out as what you want. She's absolutely caring & perfectionist. I've been going to her ever since I found out about her. She takes her time and constantly asks her clients if it hurts and if you like the designs she's doing. She's literally one of best nail techs I've been to before. Definitely recommend 100%! read more

This has been the best nail experience I have had in a long time. Stephanie is so precise and pays close attention to detail. She is lovely to talk to and so sweet. I was in dire need of a manicure last minute today. I came in and Sarah was able to attend to me almost immediately. She was extremely detail oriented and paid strong attention to detail. AMAZING!!! The friendliest & the best nail techs!! Every nail tech takes their time to make sure everything is to your liking, which is not always the case at most nail salons! STEPH IS AMAZING. You should definitely make an appointment with her if you haven't. She is super precise and detailed with her work and definitely one of the sweetest person ever. During my nail appointments she would constantly asked me if it hurts or if it looks fine and I felt 100% comfortable telling her if I didn't like something which almost never happens. After coming to her once and I've been coming back every two weeks. I always leave feeling 100% satisfied with my nails. read more

steph's the most detail orientated and careful nail tech i've ever been to! i do my nails every 3-4 weeks and been to brooklyn, manhattan, and queens salons all over nyc for 3 years now. never met anyone who cared so much about detail, precision, and accuracy so i haven't been to another salon in 4 months. i used to get just plain neutral colors but now i get designs that are effortlessly done! she brings me out of my comfort zone & i've never felt better. i will say there is a bit of a wait so book your appointment ahead of time! she's a busy busy girl but still my go-to read more
