This is my "go to " place for at least 15 years. Cindy and Sam are the best!!! I would never go anywhere else!!!

I'm so disappointed how I was treated by the owner Cindy. I've been going there for years and never had a complaint. Today I went there and it was cold outside, I rang the bell and Cindy came to the door and stood 1/2 between door and the doorway. I told her I would like a mani and pedi and was told to come back later, I said okay. I let her know I wanted tips and she asked me what kind (all while I'm standing outside) I said I don't know, can I come in and her response was no. I told I'll make an appointment for another time. I did not like the way I was treated. All she had to say I'm busy today and can I come back another time? I would have been happy to do so. read more

Simple straight forward no frills place run by a husband and wife team. If you're looking to get a simple mani or pedi this is the place to go. Very efficient and quite fast if you're in a rush. I usually make an appointment before I go as they can get busy sometimes and there's only two people working (husband and wife). read more

Sam and Cindy all the best very friendly and accommodating I always bring the magazines for my house for other customers and they appreciate that Cindy gives the best pedicures and Sam does my fill in and gel manicure to perfection sometimes it lasts for 3 weeks if I don't have time to go in and their prices are so reasonable never had a bad job there much better than any other place on Francis Lewis or Bell Boulevard. read more

This place is average. I went because of their later hours - they close at 9pm. I wanted to get a powder gel manicure and regular pedicure but went for a regular color gel manicure instead. They didn't have enough colors! Manicure came out okay but she didn't clean the sides. Next time I'm in need of a late night mani-pedi I'll find another place. read more

I am sooo happy I finally went into their nail salon. I've been doing my own nails for decades cause I do a great job and couldn't justify the cost (I'm very thrifty) but as busy as I am and always using my hands, I was at a loss for time and my nails were crying for a manicure. I broke down and decided to go in. It was last Tuesday at 5:40pm. They weren't busy. 1 customer being worked on by the wife, so her husband sat me down and began. For $7 he took off my old polish and then Cindy his wife took over. She fixed my broken nail, cleaned, buffed, shaped as I wanted and didn't dilly dally with time. She did everything I expected a manicure to be and MORE. She did such an amazing and thorough job on my beat up fingernails AND she massaged my shoulders and back while my nails were drying. I happily gave them $15 which included the tip because they literally saved my anxieties over doing them myself and I couldn't have done a better job. They did an EXCEPTIONAL job. And after a week, my nails still look fabulous. I work from home and am a housewife so my nails take a beating and I never sit still. This was the best hour (from the moment I walked in til the moment I left) I EVER made for myself and I will never go back to doing my own nails again. I deserve this treat and Park Nails has my business forever. I have to tell all my friends about them. read more

I have lived in Bayside for 8 months. I have tried six nail salons. I hadn't been blown away by any of them. My gel nails were a mess thick and long and the ends were catching on everything. I live up the block from here so I figured I would give it a try. Well no one is happier than me. The made my nails look perfect and new. The feel wonderful again. I was very happy with my mani. I didn't have a pedi in here. They do not have a ton of gel colors, but to me their work is more important and it is wonderful. I will add to my post when I get my feet done. I don't write reviews too often but after coming here I knew I HAD TO! I have lived one block away from parks for 3 years but never gone. I jump back and forth between the two big nail places on bell. They're both good but there's always something a little off, whether they file my nails unevenly, or there's air bubbles in the polish I am always not 100% happy and come home to file and touch up. Today I went to both of those nail salons to be told 20 minute waits at each (which you know means longer) so I decided to try Parks bc I didn't have that kind of time to wait and needed a powder gel for a vacation. I will say the aesthetics of parks is not pleasing, it is just not a pretty salon, itskinda messy and had a cheesy smell when I walked in. I actually almost turned around bc all I saw was a man and a child watching tv on an iPad, but I AM SO GLAD I DIDNT!!!!! A women came out from somewhere and gave me the literal BEST POWDER GEL MANICURE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! Everything is so smooth, so even, so flawless! They didn't have a huge selection of powder colors but I'm okay with that! I will only be coming to parks from now on!!!!! They have won themselves a very loyal customer, despite aesthetics they offer the best product I have seen in my 3 years of living in bayside and my... probably 5-7 years of getting powder gels! This is a nice small nail place with a very friendlyowner. I go from time to time here to get pedicures and the owner always remembers my name. You can usually walk-in without a problem of having to wait, they are usually not that busy. Their pedicure is $15 but they spend alot of time scrubbing off calluses and massaging your feet and legs. Another nice touch with their pedicure that I have never had before at another salon is that they apply hot oil on a piece of saran wrap and wrap it around your heels. They keep in on when they are painting your toes and they take it off when your done drying and it leaves your heels nice and smooth! I have gotten waxing done here as well and they are very gentle and it never really hurts. read more

completely BOTCHED my acrylics. filed my nails down to my raw skin even after I made it clear that I was in pain. Absolutely no sanitation of the work station or materials. everything came out of a random drawer and looked as though it had never been changed. the man doing my nails used his bare finger to stir the acrylic powder before dipping the brush. at some point, his wife switched in to paint my acrylics and it was blatantly obvious she was rushing. didn't wipe my skin. didn't wipe the brush after pulling it from the bottle. didn't even bother covering my entire nail or the entire acrylic for that matter. the polish came out streaky and uneven. I asked for coffin shape and came out with wonky rectangles. the entire experience was uncomfortable and the end result was disappointing. their extremely low prices make sense once you see the quality of their work. if you're thinking of coming here, save yourself the gas, money, and time. you'd be better off just doing them yourself. they would probably look better that way too. read more

I randomly strolled into here to get a pedi. The place isn't that big and there were only two people working there at the time, so I did have to wait a couple minutes. I got a pedi for $15 that came with a short leg massage and foot scrub that left my feet super soft. Not only that but she put the hot wax treatment on my heels. The tub is lined with disposable plastic for sanitary reasons and tools are clean. She even gave me a short back massage while my toes dried. I would definitely go back! After going to places in Manhatten this little salon gives you so much more for the same cost. I would definitely come back! read more

Horrible, my friend and I went together, and within 2 days the nail polish started chipping off our nails in chunks! They barely cut your cuticles. They are not friendly at all & spoke in their native tongue amongst themselves the entire time.....how Rude. They were not nice at all, and when I told the gentlemen a few of my cuticles were barely cut and if he would please trim them a bit more, he was annoyed. I Love this place. The price of a mani pedi is half of what you will pay on bell and only a few blocks away. The service is incredible especially for the price. On top of that, I asked for no top no base coat and as a result, my mani lasted the entire week. Normally, they peel off of my nails in about a day. The lady is so sweet and her grandson is adorable!! She is so great with kids. Gives juice box, cookies, let my son lay on the bench and charged his phone so he could play. I live very close to this place and have tried using their service several times because the people are very nice but their work is terrible. Once I got tips from them. It got ruined the next day and had to go 4 times until got it fixed. I have 11 month old baby and you can imagine how difficult it's to leave the baby for 1 hour each time. Just to get my tips. I always get tips and it never happened. Their awesome people but their work sucks big time. And they charged $40 for it. Not worried about the price but the amount of treatment and damaging to my nails was just horrible. read more

Place was mediocre. An older woman did my nails and her hands were shaking so bad and believe me it showed on my nails when she was done......paint on my cuticles and half the nail was bare and not painted at all. Although the owner was very friendly. read more
