As to the store: excellent service and very friendly people. There is only ONE guy who needs customer service improvement but even he is far from the worst person for sure. Store is always neat and tidy, and it is always wonderful to be acknowledged as a customer when entering an establishment. Just the "welcome to hot spot" line alone makes me want to further my business with this location. Working in retail most of my life as well as being a human being I can testify that sometimes simply knowing that you exist in life makes you feel like a king(or queen) and THAT is what customer service is all about!!!!!

Anyway, after fueling up, you can check out the stores' branded merchandise, grab yourself a bite to eat, shop for clothes such as beach wear or just regular outfits if you're heading down to Myrtle Beach. It is filled with so many items that can lead to an all-day event! The customer service was awesome. We were greeted with friendly faces and smiles. It was raining when I left home at 9:00, but it was a few minutes after 10:00 am, a beautiful morning, the sun shining and I was making good time. All of a sudden my head hit the door window, so being a bit rattled and absolutely stunned at what happened, I looked out the window and my side mirror was gone then looking in my rear view mirror I saw 2 deer turning flips in the median. Out of the blue, I never saw them coming, but 2 deer ran into the drivers side of my car going about 60 mph. The first opportunity to get help was Jefferson Food Market, so I pulled into the parking lot and tried to open my divers door and had to take my feet and push to get the door open. I got out and was a basket case, my head was hurting and the shock kicked in. There was a young man sitting in a truck beside me and held onto me and talked to me and I calmed down. He alerted the store owners and they came out and got me and stayed with me until my son came and got me. I just want to say how wonderful everyone in that store was to me. Thank you! Linda

I did see cow stomach there which would not buy but all parts can apparently be eaten/cooked. We got some turkey neck here which is known to be ghetto oxtail, much more small bones and less meat. There are 2-3 aisles with dry food beans, rice and such. On the opposite end of market behind the two registers there are chips and more common convenience store items. The hours are Mon-Sat 8:30-6pm closed Sunday.
