She always prioritizes comfort and professionalism, and I would rate my experience with her a 10/10 across the board. Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff has significantly declined, particularly at the front desk. Over the past year, I have repeatedly observed unprofessional behavior from the receptionist, Laura. During multiple visits, she appeared more focused on scrolling on her phone, fixing her makeup, or slicking back her hair while using her phone as a mirror: than on checking in patients or processing paperwork efficiently. On my most recent visit, I stood at the check-in window for nearly 30 seconds while she finished adjusting her hair/ blush before even acknowledging me. Additionally, the use of a personal phone in plain view of patients' personal health information is concerning and reflects a serious lapse in professionalism and discretion. While I understand that everyone has moments during the workday, this level of comfort and repeated behavior is inappropriate in a medical setting. At my last appointment, I waited 35 minutes past my scheduled time in the lobby before being informed that Dr. Uremovich had been called away over an hour earlier to deliver a baby and would not be able to see me. I fully understand and respect the nature of OB care and emergencies; however, it was frustrating that this information was not communicated sooner. I had used PTO for this appointment and drove 45 minutes to and from work to attend it. When I asked whether patients are typically contacted in advance when their physician is unavailable, I was told, "I mean, we can, but that's not something I can really control sooo...". This response lacked any accountability or basic courtesy on her end. A simple phone call would have prevented any unnecessary inconvenience or frustration. While I continue to hold Dr. Uremovich in the highest regard, the lack of professionalism and hospitality at the front desk ultimately led me to discontinue care with this office. First impressions matter, and front-office staff set the tone for the entire patient experience. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it would be unfortunate for other patients to be lost due to completely avoidable administrative issues.

Specifically front desk person named Catherine - very rude and dismissive. Another person provided me wrong info and told me they don't schedule first ultrasounds until 10 weeks and called back and it's actually 8 weeks. After pushing a little more became 7 weeks. Don't tell them you needed help with fertility because then they'll just tell you that they won't see you and to callback later.

I've had some mental health issues for as long as I can remember, and during my last pregnancy I struggled with it a lot. Working with Dr. Thompson was completely different. She took my mental health into serious consideration and made sure I knew how important it was for me to take care of that as well as my physical health. She is also the reason why I started seeing a therapist; as she heavily recommended it at the beginning of the pregnancy and that on top of my medicine management made the whole experience so much healthier mentally than my first pregnancy. I always show up early for my appointments (15-20 early). I don't expect to be seen early, but if you're early you're on time. I have repeatedly been called back at least 5 if not 10 minutes after my "scheduled" appointment time. I pack a snack, I bring my water and some reading material and I'm good to go, now that I know. The office is huge and has plenty of seating so sit back, and get comfy. All of the timeliness or lack there of aside I really like Doctor Alejandro Singer. He is a straightforward, dry sense of humor kind of Doctor. He knows his stuff and does a damn good job explaining it. I am new to Dallas and did a little research on where I wanted to deliver my twins and who delivers at my chosen hospital. His name came up along with another Doctor, Dr. Halsey in his practice. I booked my appointment to see him and I was impressed. He conducts his own ultrasounds which is far from my old practice in FL- if you are hoping for a "photo shoot" of a sonogram, Doc is not the one that will deliver that. He scans what he needs and finishes with such efficiency that I barley know we even had an ultrasound. I'm having twins and both are head down- I would like a vaginal delivery if it's safe and possible and he is a supporter of that! I have met other Drs that hear "twin pregnancy" and immediately go to C-section. Dr. Latham was friendly and patient and wanted to answer any and all questions I had. Even though I have moved about 40 minutes away, I will be sticking with her as my OBGYN and would love to have her throughout my next pregnancy. I never had to wait long in the office at all and all the office workers were friendly. 10/10 experience and highly recommend this practice and especially Dr. Latham!

The portal confirmed my appointment but a week prior to my appointment, I hadn't received any sort of instructions or confirmation, I call the office for the lay of land and THEY DO NOT HAVE AN APPT under my name but go as far as to condescend that they do not accept new patient appointments online. Um ok, maybe my bad? I try again, earliest appointment FEBRUARY 2024. Now I'm thinking, ok so that tracks with the first appointment, maybe I'm not insane. I do express to the front desk that my spouse and I have diligently TTC and haven't had success and would like to see a doc soon and would like to come in as soon as possible. She tells me to repeatedly call to see if there are cancellations. (????) No offering to get lab work, no waitlist...? Okay. Fine. Now we're officially on the calendar. Side note: never received any email confirmation. Fast forward a few weeks, I get a positive pregnancy tests, I call to see if I can get my appointment pulled up. I say 'fine, I'll take the appointment' even though I will need to move three mtgs for this appointment the phantom app confirmed for me. Not 5 minutes later, the nurse calls me back, asks me to confirm the appointment. I express my concern at waiting so long before my first appointment. She replies this is totally normal. Hangs up. Fine. We're on the schedule, if I'm that nervous, I'll get lab work done at my old OBs office that fell out of my insurance network. A couple weeks go by and I'm bleeding. Out of nowhere. Sheer panic. Knowing the service level I'll get out of Park Lane OB, I try google (information range is wide and frightening), I try the TeleDoc (they don't take any pregnancy topics, period), I call Urgent Care (honey, you need to call your OB). *expletives* So I call Park Lane OB, what I assume is my OB. It's the weekend so I have to call the after hours service, where they inform all callers if you are not a patient, they will charge you a 20$ service fee. I explain my situation, they take my information and say 'you only have an appointment, you are not a patient, you cannot utilize the doctor on call here'. They. Hang. Up. They turn away a patient. So, I call my old OB's answering service, I explain my situation, apologize that I haven't been into the practice for awhile etc, she stops my tearful rambling says 'I'm paging the Dr. on call right now'. 30 mins go by, she calls back 'have you heard from the Dr?' 'No ma'am' 'I'll try her other number'. 15-20 mins go by the service calls me again 'Any call?' 'Not yet' 'okay hold on' she keeps me on the line, the doc calls so I flip over to answer it. The Dr. on call listens to everything asks me some questions, gives me instructions and what to look for either way. Reassures me that this must be so scary but to remain as calm as I can be. Tells me I can COME IN FOR LAB WORK on Monday for a bloodwork pregnancy test. (Btw I can hear this doc's beeper going off, twice during our call) I hang up, shook. A minute later, the answering service calls me, again! 'Did the Dr. call you, honey?' 'Yes, ma'am, she did!' 'Okay, good!' DO NOT go to Park Lane OB. Try Swiss OB, they'll treat you like a patient.
