So I will agree with other reviews that it was a little difficult at first to get accepted as a new patient - many back and forths with the call center that schedules appointments. However, once you're in, you're in and you won't regret it. My doctor was Dr. Tiffany Latham and I had an amazing experience with her throughout my entire pregnancy and afterwards. She went out on maternity leave during my pregnancy but made sure I met with all the other doctors in the office to get to know all of them in the case they were going to be the ones who delivered my baby. Dr. Latham was friendly and patient and wanted to answer any and all questions I had. Even though I have moved about 40 minutes away, I will be sticking with her as my OBGYN and would love to have her throughout my next pregnancy. I never had to wait long in the office at all and all the office workers were friendly. 10/10 experience and highly recommend this practice and especially Dr. Latham! read more

Dr. Joykutti came very highly recommended to me by coworkers and a fellow healthcare professional of hers. Unfortunately, I experienced the following horrific experiences with the Park Lane OB staff AND emergency answering service, that I will be seeking care elsewhere. I first attempted to make a new patient appointment here in Jan via the patient portal, it confirmed the earliest I could go was JULY. SIX MONTHS OUT. The portal confirmed my appointment but a week prior to my appointment, I hadn't received any sort of instructions or confirmation, I call the office for the lay of land and THEY DO NOT HAVE AN APPT under my name but go as far as to condescend that they do not accept new patient appointments online. Um ok, maybe my bad? I try again, earliest appointment FEBRUARY 2024. Now I'm thinking, ok so that tracks with the first appointment, maybe I'm not insane. I do express to the front desk that my spouse and I have diligently TTC and haven't had success and would like to see a doc soon and would like to come in as soon as possible. She tells me to repeatedly call to see if there are cancellations. (????) No offering to get lab work, no waitlist...? Okay. Fine. Now we're officially on the calendar. Side note: never received any email confirmation. Fast forward a few weeks, I get a positive pregnancy tests, I call to see if I can get my appointment pulled up. Series of questions on timing etc etc, 30 minutes on hold and I get a 'the nurse will be in touch to schedule you, we don't do that'. Click. Again, no offered lab work for a blood confirmation pregnancy test. After a week of no one reaching out, I call back. 'Oh, you have an appointment 11/9, the nurse called you.' They most certainly did not, I removed my 'silence unknown callers' option and everything. I expressed as much, the response 'Well the app would have notified you.' WHAT MOTHER EFFING APP??? I say 'fine, I'll take the appointment' even though I will need to move three mtgs for this appointment the phantom app confirmed for me. Not 5 minutes later, the nurse calls me back, asks me to confirm the appointment. I express my concern at waiting so long before my first appointment. She replies this is totally normal. Hangs up. Fine. We're on the schedule, if I'm that nervous, I'll get lab work done at my old OBs office that fell out of my insurance network. A couple weeks go by and I'm bleeding. Out of nowhere. Sheer panic. Knowing the service level I'll get out of Park Lane OB, I try google (information range is wide and frightening), I try the TeleDoc (they don't take any pregnancy topics, period), I call Urgent Care (honey, you need to call your OB). *expletives* So I call Park Lane OB, what I assume is my OB. It's the weekend so I have to call the after hours service, where they inform all callers if you are not a patient, they will charge you a 20$ service fee. I explain my situation, they take my information and say 'you only have an appointment, you are not a patient, you cannot utilize the doctor on call here'. They. Hang. Up. They turn away a patient. So, I call my old OB's answering service, I explain my situation, apologize that I haven't been into the practice for awhile etc, she stops my tearful rambling says 'I'm paging the Dr. on call right now'. 30 mins go by, she calls back 'have you heard from the Dr?' 'No ma'am' 'I'll try her other number'. 15-20 mins go by the service calls me again 'Any call?' 'Not yet' 'okay hold on' she keeps me on the line, the doc calls so I flip over to answer it. The Dr. on call listens to everything asks me some questions, gives me instructions and what to look for either way. Reassures me that this must be so scary but to remain as calm as I can be. Tells me I can COME IN FOR LAB WORK on Monday for a bloodwork pregnancy test. (Btw I can hear this doc's beeper going off, twice during our call) I hang up, shook. A minute later, the answering service calls me, again! 'Did the Dr. call you, honey?' 'Yes, ma'am, she did!' 'Okay, good!' DO NOT go to Park Lane OB. Try Swiss OB, they'll treat you like a patient. read more

I came here this morning for my a new patient appointment with Dr. Joycutty. The office location is located right off of north central expressway and park lane. Parking is in the attached parking garage and is complimentary. Dr. Joycutty was thorough and professional. I really enjoyed her down to earth personality and expertise. The appointment was under an hour and I felt comfortable and valued throughout. I would definitely recommend Dr. Joycutty to anyone looking for a good OBGYN. read more

I had high hopes after my first and second visits with Dr. Potter, but every phone call, appointment, and all correspondence with all other staff afterwards was absolutely miserable. Every question I asked to try and understand the (minimal) information I was given was treated as if I was stupid or inconveniencing the person I was asking. I was told to go to the ER when an appointment was unavailable and when I asked why that was recommended, the woman told me "I don't know why you're asking that, I told you that's what you need to do". I ended my last phone call with a nursing assistant in tears because of how snappy she was when I was just trying to understand what she was telling me. I have been going to Dr. Joykutty for several years and use OB and gynecological services. I saw the other two doctors at the practice a couple of times and Dr. Joykutty is my favorite. She is very straightforward and has an even personality. She is not necessarily sweet but definitely caring. I have seen her for well woman visits as well as OB visits and she delivered my little one. She is knowledgeable and also will consider patient wishes while providing education. When I was at the hospital, all of the L&D staff complimented her as a favorite and some shared that they use her as well. One of the main reasons I give a 4 instead of 5 is that this is the most difficult doctor's office I have personally to get in touch with. There have been several times I waited 10 minutes plus to get through to the front office or had to call back to ensure I received a response about a medical question. read more

Professional, caring staff remembered me from when I was here with my daughter 2 weeks ago. It can be hard to get in as a new patient, which you expect with a busy practice. I made here appointments for us 3 months ago, and could not schedule them together. Going forward as established patients, we will find it easier to coordinate our care. The nurses are professional and thorough in taking histories. They ask appropriate questions and take down responses correctly. They follow up on responses, and make the patients feel at ease. I love all the OB's, nurses, and associates at Park Lane. Dr. Stevenson came very highly reviewed from a doula friend and I couldn't be more pleased with her service throughout my years of visiting her. Dr. Reyes was on call during my labor and she was also wonderful. Both doctors have awesome, compassionate bedside manners and are very thorough. Their office sends out surveys regularly to make sure you are pleased with their service and to rectify any situations like the previous reviewer mentioned above. Dr. Stevenson and all the staff really do their best to serve you and give you the birth experience you want with compassionate support every step of the way. I always feel like I'm talking to a friend when I go in and Stevenson goes above and beyond to put my mind at ease. She really takes her time with you during appointments and she returns calls promptly as well. One more thing I love about Dr. S is that she is fully supportive of natural birth and she doesn't push induction at 40/41 weeks like many doctors do. Occasionally wait times can be long, but I expect that from good doctors. Baylor is also a wonderful place to give birth. read more

I hate going to the doctor and had anxiety throughout my entire pregnancy but Dr. Garcia and her nurse Tiera really made me feel comfortable and like family the entire time. This was my first time pregnancy so I had a list of questions and concerns and she took the time to address them until I was satisfied without making me feel rushed. I am a perfectionist and so is she and it really reflects in the follow up she does. I had high blood pressure along with other complications and she made me feel taken care of and after my c section even the nurses complimented how precise and well done my incision was. I also had an appointment with Dr. Stevenson a week before I gave birth and then she did my follow up at the hospital after birth and when I broke down in tears about having issues breastfeeding she consoled me and shared her personal experiences and assured me it would be okay and that was my second time ever meeting her. The culture of the office is very professional but from the sonogram technician to the front desk clerk to the nurse and obgyn everyone made me feel like family and I'm actually sad I won't be going to the visit as often now. I was nervous about getting Dr. Garcia (she was the only obgyn that could work with my availability for appointments) after checking these reviews but I can honestly say after an entire complicated pregnancy and an emergency c-section later there is no other obgyn I could ever imagine having. read more

The staff at the front desk could not be more incompetent. They argued with me about my insurance and then realized they were looking at the WRONG file - not the most encouraging when dealing with medical records. Dr. Garcia is a waste of time and resources. They over-test (asking for a urine sample with every single visit), no matter what you are coming in for, so be ware of unnecessary tests/labs and costs. read more

Asked Dr. Garcia to do a complete STD test, she only did the vaginal swab she did not send the labs. I asked to have my vitamin levels checked, she didn't request that. She made the decision to test for a yeast infection but I didn't get those results. Once I received the results via their portal, she did not call to review. I had to ask questions thru the portal. Worst OBGYN experience ever. Only made the switch because they were close to work. Mistake. Now the new year is here and my deductible starts over. Awesome. Also they tell you to arrive 15 mins early but don't see you till 30 mins after your appointment. read more

I have been so very pleased with this practice, which was referred to me by a Labor and Delivery nurse at Baylor Dallas when I told her I was looking for an OB who was supportive of natural labor. My first birth experience at Baylor Carrollton was pretty traumatic, as my previous OB pushed unnecessary medical interventions, even though I expressed to her my wish to go natural, and the labor resulted in a vacuum extraction with zero meds. Thankfully, my baby and I were healthy after the experience, but I was left unsatisfied with the labor, as I felt that it was more about what was convenient for my OB, not what was convenient for me. I chose Dr. Stevenson as my OB for the birth of my second child since she had the most experience out of the three doctors in this practice. However, I had an appointment with each of the other two doctors, Dr. Joykutty and Dr. Garcia, during my prenatal visits (as is customary with this practice so that you are familiar with each doctor in case your primary OB is not available on the day you deliver). All three doctors were attentive to me and my wishes for a natural delivery. They were all encouraging and made me feel like I was in good hands. As for my birthing experience with Dr. Stevenson - she was there for ME and MY BABY. As is the case with labor, there were occurrences that were not planned (more than usual bleeding during labor, baby was facing my belly, bulging bag of water, and baby was born with the cord wrapped around his neck), but Dr. Stevenson was especially attentive to my wish to have a natural birth and she actively worked with me to make that happen. There was not one moment where I felt stressed or worried during the labor, thanks to Dr. Stevenson and the nurse staff at Baylor Dallas, who were all incredibly supportive. In the end, I delivered a healthy baby boy and I was able to leave the hospital the very next day since my recovery was minimal. I am grateful to Dr. Stevenson and the Baylor Dallas Nurses for helping me to have a beautiful, natural labor experience in a hospital setting. I highly recommend Dr Stevenson and the Park Lane OB-GYN practice. read more

I could not possibly ask for a better experience with a physician and his or her staff. I see Dr. Stevenson here and I have never felt more comfortable with my annual well women visits. It is not hard to get an appointment, the ladies at the front desk are polite, and Dr. Stevenson really takes her time with your questions/concerns. Run away from her)My doctor is Stevenson only seem her twice, i had a appointment with her for well-women check before my appointment I told them that I had a bleeding ofter my period. No one asked me any symptoms question in the office.What they did is the nurse done ultrasound on me. They told me that doctor saids the image of the ultrasound looks like I had a polyp. She saids we can go have a endometrial biopsy procedure done. I don't really understand what is this mean but I said yes if the doctor thinks this is good way for me then I do it. Stevenson said if there is a small polyp we can do surgery in the office otherwise I will need to go to have a specialist surgery. She told me to be ready pain and the stuff like water ball and camera goes in my privet. They put me something in my private to make me head dizzy And heart speeding. I don't know what is it, everything was stopped feeling dead. I was crying and pain. I can feel a lot of tools working inside of my body. Finally done. She told me the results that I am very Normal no polyp and left the room. I have hard time to stand up. I was setting in the room over half hour with pain and they offered me a pain pills. I had a big question with them : Why the doctor or anyone in the office didn't asking me any question or symptoms before making any decisions? While I absolutely love the Doctors here I must say I've been disappointed the last two times regarding the promptness of my appointments. Both times I have arrived early and have waited for an average of an hour to be seen with no updates as to the wait times while sitting in the waiting room. There seems to always be a reason they are behind however a phone call to patients would be greatly appreciated since many of us have to take time off for the appointments. I have been going to Dr.Stevenson since High School and have always loved her. Over the past 6 months though I have been so disappointed at the office staff. My appointment was cancelled, which I understand since the Dr is very busy but when I called to reschedule the office personnel was so rude to me and didn't want to answer any of my questions. I then rescheduled my appointment and asked if I could speak with the nurse before because I had a few questions and they again were rude to me. I am in the process of starting to try for a baby and they have been nothing but rude and unsupportive, I do not want to belong to an OBGYN office that promotes this attitude towards their patients. This is a scary process since it would by my first and I want to feel like my questions matter and that I matter. As sad as I am to switch doctors at this point I feel like I have no choice. Also I referred 2 of my girlfriends and they had the exact same experience and I was so embarrassed that I referred them. The office staff even blamed one of them for not showing up to her appointment when she provided them with the VM that she got cancelling the appointment. I've been seeing Dr. Stevenson for almost 5 years now. I was a patient of hers well before I was pregnant and was ecstatic to find out once I was pregnant that she delivered at Baylor Dallas which is the best. I got to know her and her staff really well as my pregnancy caused me to have to go in once a week for several weeks. Dr. Reyes ended up delivering my son because he came 5 weeks early and Dr. Stevenson was out of town but Dr. Stevenson made sure I had an appt with Dr. Reyes beforehand just in case that may happen. Dr. Reyes is amazing as well! My son turned 4 last week and everyone in the office asks how he is doing everytime I go in. At least 6 of my girlfriends see Dr. Stevenson as well. The staff here is absolutely terrible here. If you are an OB patient and need to be seen any sooner than your scheduled appt when something serious is going on, they won't work you in here. As a patient, I do expect curtesy and responsiveness from not just the doctor, but the entire medical staff from the medical assistants to the reception staff. For as great as Dr. Stevenson was her staff fell flat for me on every encounter I had with them. The final line was when Dr. Stevenson's nurse called to cancel my appointment and relayed that the doctor said my prenatal appointment wasn't that important because if something were to happen it would be out of anyone's control (I'm 16 weeks pregnant). She said she would plan to see me at the appointment next month. Interestingly when I called my insurance to inquire about how my global coverage would work, they said I would pay for the appointment if I had it or not. It's part of the standard coverage and I should have been seen regardless of my stage of pregnancy. So to be dismissed by the nurse (on behalf of my doctor) put me in tears. When I spoke to the front desk and told them I was disappointed and wanted to find a new doctor's office, they said ok and abruptly hung up on me. Just moved to DFW and had a new patient appointment with Dr. Elizabeth Stevenson-Gargiulo for a well woman exam. She was highly recommended on a local forum for being NCB friendly, and I had waited 3 months for this appointment. I arrived about 15 minutes before my appointment time with all paperwork filled out, and I was in a room before my scheduled appointment time. The nurse went over my medical history with me and told me the doctor would be in shortly. Dr. Stevenson came in almost immediately after and went over my history with me again to confirm everything was accurate. Then we talked about concerns and pregnancy plans, and I appreciated that she took the time to talk to me about my concerns with traveling to a zika infected area before we TTC next year. She gave me some guidelines and reassurance on the subject and really took the time to explain it to me. The exam was easy and she gave me a printout of the visit summary with some zika guidelines and a reminder to come in and get carrier tested before we TTC if we choose to. I think I found my doctor, highly recommend! read more

Dr.Reyes and Stevenson are amazing and I got the pleasure of meeting Dr.Joycutti today who was just as sweet, educating and amazing. I have referred my family and friends who have also had three children delivered by dr.reyes. If you are looking for a life long OBGYN then this is the place, Tiffany at the front desk is so sweet and accomidating when it comes to appointments and the medical assistants are all kind, patient and have always kept me well informed. I actually sought out Dr. Stevenson for a second opinion and was impressed when she was able to quell and remove fears another OBGYN gave me. So I began using her and the practice for my GYN needs. Unfortunately she is only versed well in obstetrics and not gynecology and not menopausal women nor is the office staff. I had a post menopausal bleed and the wrong medications/hormones were prescribed and I was dismissed over the phone as 'it happens all the time, no need to be seen'. I ended up at the ER and they wondered why I didn't get help sooner based on blood work and symptoms. Thankfully I got the help I needed before things got out of hand. I cannot recommend this practice for any gynecology needs. read more

Bad experience. Unfortunately very consistently had terrible service with Dr. Reyes office. We met her and really liked her - we had a late term demise of our child and needed to switch physicians so that we were closer to home. We met with several doctors and liked her the best - once we decided to go with her, it was a very bad experience. We had to leave 3 messages in order to get someone to call us back to make our second appointment (took 2 weeks). She was also supposed to send us the name / information of a fertility specialist to meet with, which we got a phone call 6 weeks after she had told us that we needed to meet with the specialist. I'm sure the people in her office are generally nice people but over the phone we weren't treated that well. It was hard to get ahold of someone on the phone (always had to leave a message) and they weren't easy at all to work with. Until they can get their act together and treat their patients better I would STRONGLY recommend going elsewhere if you are looking for attentitive service. read more

I was referred to Dr. Joycutty by my primary care physician, someone whom I value and trust, because of an abnormal pap smear result. Dr. Joycutty recommended I have a colposcopy for a low grade pap result. I later found out by another gynecologist that this procedure was completely unnecessary, that I could have waited and had another pap smear in 6 to 12 months. I wish I had known this because I paid Park Lane OB-GYN almost $500 for an unnecessary procedure. To make matters worse, Amber at the front desk, rudely refused my request to pay after the claim had been processed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Come to find out, I overpaid Park Lane OB-GYN almost $250. When I called the office to request a refund, I was told by the billing person that it could take 30 days or longer. I've never experienced such unprofessional service at a doctor's office. Needless to say, I will never go back to this practice. read more
