This is the most darling clothing, shoes and toy store for babies, toddlers, and young children…read morethat I probably have ever gone to. Their stuff is so perfectly curated, with high quality clothing items, i.e. Blueberry Hill, with all the things you can imagine and more. They have outfits for every occasion, including nice pajamas, cute Christmas outfits, cute "big brother" tshirts, dresses, and even little designer jackets from Stella McCartney (and the like). If you have an idea for something, they likely have it. The clothing is for all age groups - newborns, babies, toddlers, and young children. They have a pretty nice shoe selection too, although that seems to be more for the young child age. The toys are also very nicely curated. Everything looks very aesthetic, and good quality, nicely made, not cheaply designed. They also have toys for all age levels. They additionally have a huge Jellycat that is super cute to look at on display! They also have a great selection of books that are really cute - I ended up getting "Dog's First Baby" which was such a cute book, that my daughter loves so much, since we have a pup at home. Their service can be very helpful, if you know what you are looking for. However, I just so much enjoyment browsing here, since everything costs an arm and a leg. This is definitely a great place to buy a gift for anyone who is having a baby, or having a young child birthday party. The staff can recommend what to buy for a "3 month old" etc.! Love this store, always fun to browse when I'm in the area!

Plenty of California and SF themed logos, along with humorous and topical art. We picked up two t-shirts and a hoodie. T-shirts are Gildan, and for hoodies they have some less expensive makes, but I went with the more expensive Champion. They apply the decal quickly and service is helpful. It may pay to shop around, but if you are in Fisherman's Wharf, and want to look for great selection, this is an excellent place to start.

No Yelp reviews in the past 2 years? Ok, here we go!…read more Talk about wall-to-wall coverage of t-shirt designs. This store is just jam packed with t-shirts and sweatshirts. And when you've run out of space, there are even more t-shirts. There's not a whole lot of room to maneuver in here so the space feels of a jam packed thrift shop, but with an open wall for an exit. There's no particular theme here as the designs are not limited to anything San Francisco-centric. There are some politically themed shirts, pop culture shirts, and something from every color and size. The guy in the front of the store welcomes you in and we didn't leave until we picked up a long sleeve hooded San Francisco design sweatshirt for $30. It's not going to be cheap, because it's another bay area tourist trap after all.

The pier is filled with unique shops, entertainment, and plenty of places to grab a delicious meal while enjoying the beautiful views of the bay. The food options are endless, from the famous clam chowder served in a sourdough bread bowl to tacos, seafood, and classic fair-style treats. As you make your way toward the end of the pier, you're rewarded with stunning views of Alcatraz Island and the bay. One of the highlights is watching the sea lions relaxing on the floating docks below -- a fun and unforgettable sight. Whether you want to stop by for a quick bite, enjoy the scenery, or spend the entire day exploring, this is one of those places that has something for everyone.

The stores are super cute, there are things to do, there are restaurants as well as good quick eats (like the mini donut shop - oh my gosh that's so good - and a cute retro candy shop at the end of the pier. Additionally, the views at the end of the pier are magical, and you get to view it with songs from the sealions! There are also magic shows at the pier you can watch for free and a large carousel! Pier 39 is 100%, touristy, but it is still festive and fun, whether you're an out-of-towner or a local resident. The only downsides are the prices (because this area is a tourist trap) and the parking. Here are some tricks and tips: Look for coupons for some of the pier activities (ie, coupon books, Groupon, and even on the ads in the local map they give you for free). I've found coupons for the Aquarium By the Bay, restaurants, the mirror maze thingy, and The Flyer. You can also go to the Visitor Center office on the 2nd floor of the pier! Just ask politely for coupons, and they'll usually have something. (They gave me 20% off some nice restaurants last time.) As for parking, be careful with street parking because if you are even a minute late, I swear, you'll find a ticket on your windshield! The city ticket workers are like hawks. There is a Pier 39 parking garage that is the closest but costs a lot. You can look for open parking lots further away, like at hotels, which can be cheaper. If you are able to walk, that may be a good option -- or better yet, take public transportation when you can. That is part of the San Francisco experience! One more tip: if it's your first time there, bring a lock to put at the end of the pier! (See photo) There are definitely a multitude of photo opps here!
