Service is very friendly and helpful. They took care of me but gave me space to look around and do my thing. Really great.

(I regard it as wrong to go a store to check out the prospective purchase, then complete the deal with a rival; that's just me). I am not sure if they guarantee it, but I also have not found much of a difference if any in the cost. I write also to vouch for the quality of REI branded gear. I have not been disappointed. Their stuff is as good as any rivals. They seem to offer it for less as well. The other experience I have had is with returns. They live up to their reputation, which is positive. REI and Nordstrom are better than any other retailer. Their staff must be selected as polite or trained to offer exemplary customer service. Of this type of store, REI is my favorite. This specific venue also seems new, even though it is not.

There are a few options available and one place where people from all around the country and around the world come get their San Francisco related gifts it's The Wharf Store. Inside the Wharf Store you will find T-Shirts with some cheesy and interesting slogans and hooded sweaters with San Francisco spelled out across the chest area with different style of fonts along with the different designs of Golden Gate Bridge and cables cars. There is something for everyone inside if you're looking for that mug for mom and dad and the toy for the kids. There is the bottle opener keychain for the beer and also cups with San Francisco printed on the outside. I was trying to find the flag for the city of San Francisco but no cigar ( I bet you half of San Francisco couldn't describe the flag of the City of San Francisco). Come here for what it's worth at The Wharf Store. Come get your SF tourist trap "souvenir " like a bottle opener that's says San Francisco to open your "beer" this store is located in the Wharf a few blocks from the "Pier" so come get your SF logo fleece jacket and other tourist trap "gear" Meet people from around the world like the French tourists who "appear" in San Francisco in the Summer in the month of August every "year"there is also the only San Francisco In- N- Out Burgers to get animal style across the street which is very "near" so come enjoy the San Francisco Tourist Trap vibe and the fun "atmosphere "

And, over the course of the 20 minutes we spent, only six to ten people seemed to wander in and out. Which is a real shame. We spend the better part of our time saying, "Ooohh, look at this" and "Oh my, this would be great for Todd, Adam, Matt." We ended up buying several random items. It's the sort of place where you will find eclectic things, for the eclectic people in your life. Like awesome music references. Rock & Roll, particularly. And if you don't have eclectic people in your life, this place will probably be a quick study. But it is definitely worth a peruse, and definitely a nice alternative to the crazy lines of the brewery, and all the chocolate related material. Customer service was pretty minimal. Never asked if we needed any help (and remember, we made a full tour of the place over the course of 20 minutes).
