Loads of cool & kitschy tourist souvenirs.
    Louisa M.

It's nothing more than a tourist trap shop but it is truly a one-stop tourist trap shop! Wharf Central has just about everything you could ever want with San Francisco emblazoned on it. Shot glasses, magnets, t-shirts, bottle openers, keychains, stuffed toys and more. Most items feature images of classic San Francisco landmarks like the Golden Gate bridge, Alcatraz, crabs, Fisherman's Wharf, the SF Giants, cable cars, Ghirardelli square, and sourdough bread. Looking for an Alcatraz t-shirt? Check. Ghirardelli sign postcard? Check. Magnet of the Fisherman's Wharf famous wheel and crab sign? Check. Shot glass in the shape of Giants helmet? Check. Stuffed crab toy? Check. Scarf with the Boudin bread logo? Check. Keychain shaped like the Golden Gate? Check. You get the idea. Great location right on the corner by the crab stands. I have a friend who collects magnets so I popped in to grab her one and this store had one of the largest selection of magnets that I've ever seen outside of an actual magnets store. It took me forever to decide on one for her, but I went with this cute mini cable car one. It cost me $5 but was worth it (it looked way more expensive). Not to say that this is super high quality merch, most of it is cheap junk made in China but the prices aren't too bad. Note that the more you buy, the more you save. Prices are highest if you buy one of an item but add in multiples (they don't all have to be the same style), you can shave several dollars off your purchase price. Think 3 for $10 or one for $5 type pricing. This is a great deal if you need to take home small trinkets and gifts to friends and family.

Awesome souvenirs here. Tons to choose from too. Look for deals on shirts. Store is clean and staff is friendly.

The standard tourist shop, but they have a great selection of t-shirts and sweatshirts. It's pretty big.

They deserved ZERO star. Horrible attitudes toward customer, the about 5 feet tall, long hair Asian woman was rude, don't come here

The kicker for me is that they ALSO have a section for the surfer brands (Roxy, Volcom, etc.) AND they have an entire section dedicated to Levis.

My daughter and I were visiting from San Antonio for her 10th birthday, and I stopped in hoping to maybe find a dress for my 40th birthday. I ended up finding the most beautiful dress, and my daughter picked out the perfect belt after Victoria suggested adding an accent. She also recommended a gorgeous scarf that made the whole outfit scream, "I'm 40 and I'm here for it!" Victoria and her two amazing interns made us feel beautiful, confident, and so welcomed. They were incredibly sweet to my daughter, and I'm so grateful we stopped in. It made my day and left such a positive impression on both of us. I'll definitely add a photo of the finished outfit when I wear it! They had prices to fit all budgets and the proceeds go towards so much good!

After she left the City, I decided to go get the pin for her birthday in July (if I can wait that long). I called to find out when they'd be open. Victoria, the owner, answered and let me know when to come by. Meeting Victoria in person was a delightful experience as was finding out more about her very eclectic jewel of a business. It's a nonprofit that helps people by giving them a boost up with beautiful clothing at little to no cost. The clothing is all donated, clean, on hangers, and goes to help those in the community to get warm clothing, to interview for a job, or just feel like they can stand up a little straighter. Anyone can come to browse through the myriad of treasures. And, of course, buy something at a good price. All proceeds really do go back into the community.

So after walking 90 miles from the car to the wine festival and all around the wharf in wooden shoes her bf bought her, my friend needs some shoe relief. They were nice, but not the best for the walking we did. We happened upon Shoe Envy. As soon as we walked in, I saw the shoes for her. Silver blingin tennies. I walked right to them and handed it to her. She was impressed with my shoe-fu. As you can see by the pic, she's only trying one on. Yes, it was the display model. Perfect fit. She immediately bought the pair....well her bf did. Ha ha! Now... there's this cougar watching us with shoe envy, as all of this unfolds. She's got a different shoe that she's trying on. But she says she was debating the one she had and the one we bought. I told her to get both and that she was worth it. So she did! Shoe guy was giving us some 'tude. Perhaps we were being a little louder than his snotty personality would allow in such an upscale shoe store. Or maybe he was pissed that I just sold 3 pairs of $100+ shoes in his store in less than 10 minutes. Hmpft! In the immortal words of Al Bundy, "Envy me. That's my wife. Those are my kids and I sell womens' shoes." Yes Shoe Envy. You can envy me.

I love the look of the store and the shoe styles on display. But on my first visit, the clerk behind the counter was on the phone talking loudly about his business, his problems, and his people. Long enough for me to check out all the men's shoes. Long enough for me to check out all the women's shoes. Long enough for me to stare at him in disbelief, wondering if he was really more interested in talking on the phone than selling some shoes.

Plenty of California and SF themed logos, along with humorous and topical art. We picked up two t-shirts and a hoodie. T-shirts are Gildan, and for hoodies they have some less expensive makes, but I went with the more expensive Champion. They apply the decal quickly and service is helpful. It may pay to shop around, but if you are in Fisherman's Wharf, and want to look for great selection, this is an excellent place to start.

No Yelp reviews in the past 2 years? Ok, here we go!…read more Talk about wall-to-wall coverage of t-shirt designs. This store is just jam packed with t-shirts and sweatshirts. And when you've run out of space, there are even more t-shirts. There's not a whole lot of room to maneuver in here so the space feels of a jam packed thrift shop, but with an open wall for an exit. There's no particular theme here as the designs are not limited to anything San Francisco-centric. There are some politically themed shirts, pop culture shirts, and something from every color and size. The guy in the front of the store welcomes you in and we didn't leave until we picked up a long sleeve hooded San Francisco design sweatshirt for $30. It's not going to be cheap, because it's another bay area tourist trap after all.
