A small table for Keno players occupies space toward the front of the store, with some very worn floor tiles under the table. First, I should mention that you can get cigarettes and gas there. I don't buy those things, so I can't comment on the prices. (For a long time this review said that beer was available there, but it wasn't.) Almost everything you buy there will cost more than a supermarket would charge. As an example, you'll pay $1 for a can of cat food that costs 60 cents in the supermarket. That is a 66% premium they are charging! They sell their own brand of various food products, along with national brands. In terms of food, little that they sell is high quality. For example, you can't get Arnold's or Pepperidge Farm bread here, only the cheap, spongy bread. Mostly they sell junk food -- soda, candy, chips, dips, pretzels, snack cakes, ice cream, frozen snack foods, etc., along with pre-packaged cold cuts (which are expensive), milk, cheese other dairy products. They carry pre-packaged sandwiches, and those are reasonably priced, and I do buy them. There is one breakfast sandwich, the chorizo & egg wrap, which I love, but the others aren't that good. They have their own ice cream, some of which is good and some isn't. In short, the food selection is small, and most of it is junky. Since I have a scale for my business, and since I buy their pre-packaged sandwiches, I started weighing them, and I discovered that about half of them are under-weight. For example, a package of chicken sandwiches that was marked 7.1 oz. actually weighed 6.8 oz. I'll continue to go there for my breakfast sandwiches. (Burger King makes better and cheaper breakfast sandwiches, but they aren't close by.) I'll also get ice cream there, but that's about it. Everything else is too costly.

Proximity to the highway on/off ramps, is one of the store's main strengths. It's a newer store, and is well-stocked and clean (even the men's bathroom smelled good), and appeared to be adequately staffed with reasonably personable employees. Moreover, the parking lot is plenty roomy and easy to navigate. The business is located at the corner of a side street with a traffic light, so getting back onto Route 6 is easy. The only complaint I have is that I tried to pay for my fuel purchase at the pump, but the pump would not read my company credit card, so I had to go inside to prepay.

But, they are so cramped for space that I literally caused a one-man traffic jam in the lot just parking to use the air pump. Worse yet, the filling ports for the underground fuel storage tanks are in front of the garage bay doors, so if my modest-sized work van caused such chaos, I can only imagine how much worse navigating the gas pumps would be when a tanker truck is making a fuel delivery. Other reasons for my low rating is that they do not sell diesel fuel, and only have the barest selection of drinks (one small cooler) and snacks. I get that it's a gas station/automotive repair garage, and not a convenience store, but if you have to make a stop, why not stop at a place that has both? I walked in everyday to see if it was ready and they would just say "waiting on CVS". They could have called over and got it done but they are lazy and waited for me to finally lose my patience. I was off the medication for well over a week and was feeling terrible- the whole time they had the fax and the pharmacist laughed at me when telling him this situation. Bad patient care and overall bad employees!
