In any case, from time to time, I find myself pulling into this Sunoco with the "E" lightbulb burning bright. If I can help it, I usually do not stop at this gas station; the sole reason being that it is by far, one of the more expensive stations in the area. Located at an off-ramp of 195, this location benefits by their real estate in luring desperate drivers into the convenience of filling up right off the interstate. There are other stations within a couple minutes drive with prices significantly cheaper, but more out of the way location-wise. This is the only gas station I pass every morning on my way to work and when I simply know I can't make it there on the fumes remaining in my tank, I'll pull in. Two stars instead of one because the pumps are quite quick with dispensing gas... highly appreciated on those chilly, wintery mornings when I wish I could just go back to bed. Another highlight is their Dunkin Donuts on location which often mentally eases the burden of the punch this place packs on my wallet. Pleasant staff, plenty of parking for the convenience store.

There are no markings for Cash vs. Ctedit pricing anywhere. However, once the pump is in the tank, you find out that because you are using a credit card, you are now paying 10 cents more per gallon. I stopped here Monday afternoon because my work truck was nearly out of diesel fuel, and this place is right off I-295. With its huge parking lot and impressive number of Gulf-branded gasoline pumps (I counted a whopping 16), this place would fit in well in Texas. They also have four diesel pumps, two of which are high-speed pumps for filling trucks more quickly. Inside, the store is equally large, with a Honey Dew Donuts occupying the left side of the store. In addition to a drive-up, the Honey Dew has an indoor counter, as well as some tables for those customers who want to stay-and-sip. There is plenty of room between aisles of merchandise, and the store appeared to be well-stocked with good variety of drinks, snacks and convenience foods. And, it does have a bathroom (which is a requirement to earn a 4-star rating from me), although it is located in the right-front counter of the store, which was a bit counter-intuitive. It's not as fancy as Seasons Corner Market convenience stores (the white floor tiles at Circle K were boring and showed dirt easily), but it covered all the bases. The cashier at Circle K was clean-shaven, polite, and soft-spoken - quite the opposite of the large, rather rowdy group of blue-collar guys seated around a long table at Honey Dew.

This is one of my frequent stops, since it's in a convenient location. The parking lot is huge,…read moreand there are three entrances: two from the main road, and one from the side road (Laurel Avenue). There are a good number of gas pumps, plus they sell ice and have a propane tank exchange. The store itself, however, is tiny. There is no bathroom, which cost them a star. And, the register is located near the front door, so if there are as few as even two people in line, it's awkward going in and out of the store, as you have to literally dodge people. It's not unusual for one of the narrow merchandise aisles (usually the first aisle) to be filled with a line of people waiting to check out. Although the store is tiny, somehow it manages to cram in a few display cases of vaping juice and accessories. Gas prices are okay, but one of the main reasons I frequent this store is that they have good prices on Garelick Farms milk ($2.99, versus about $4.50 at a supermarket). But, they are sometimes out of the 1 percent variety (grrrr!), and then I have to settle for a half-gallon. Cashiers who work there are okay, although not the most energetic, upbeat people. And, on more than a few occasions, I've seen some sketchy customers that appear to be under the influence (thankfully, they walked to the store) or otherwise 'out there' in some way. Besides being convenient, this business is in a beautiful location, right next to the Pawtuxet River and a man-made waterfall, and the former Anthony Mill, which is now a large apartment complex. The smoke stack of the former mill still proudly stands above the landscape. There is also a small parking lot for the bike path nearby.
