Posted hours for this special run until 7 pm. I stopped in at 6:05 pm last Monday and found that they only had thighs and wings. I was told that if I wanted more than two wings, I would be charged extra for reasons which were not clear. Eight pieces is eight pieces. If they are out of some of those pieces, one would expect to be able to substitute pieces they have for pieces which are sold out. I believe that the chicken cooking staff wanted to be able to begin their clean up processes early, so they could go home, and therefore refused to cook more, even though there was close to an hour before the end of the advertised special price. This seems very clearly to be a bait and switch situation, to put it kindly. I don't think it was store policy to stop preparing chicken early. I attribute it to lazy, uncaring staff. If they don't want to do their jobs an cook chicken, they should seek employment elsewhere.
